The cave was a sanctuary, a refuge from the unforgiving environment of Kraken. Kyle, Layla, and Lucias had been kicked out by Elara, and the planet had already acknowledged them as prey. The air was thick with tension, their senses on high alert as they waited for the inevitable.

Kyle had managed to start a fire, the flames crackling and spitting as they devoured the dry wood. The warmth was a welcome respite from the cold darkness of the cave, but it was a double-edged sword - a beacon that could attract unwanted attention.

Lucias watched as Kyle gathered more wood, his eyes narrowed in concern. "Kyle, do you plan on staying here?" he asked, his voice low and cautious.

Kyle’s response was indifferent, his gaze fixed on the flames. "Yes."

Lucias and Layla exchanged a worried glance, their faces illuminated only by the fire. Layla spoke up, her voice soft and gentle. "Kyle, you’re strong, and you’ve always had an undying grit. But we’re on another planet, with little to no knowledge of the environment. Our connection to Lumia kingdom and King Troy is severed, and our spaceship is damaged beyond repair."

Kyle’s expression didn’t change, but his eyes flickered with a hint of frustration. "I know all that, Layla. But we can’t just wander around aimlessly. We need a plan, and we need one now."

Lucias nodded, his eyes shining with a spark of hope. "I think we should try to find Elara’s cottage. She might be able to help us."

Kyle’s response was immediate and blunt. "No."

The air was thick with tension as Lucias and Kyle locked eyes, their voices rising in a heated argument. Layla tried to intervene, but Kyle’s words were like a challenge, and Lucias was not one to back down.

As they argued, a sharp howl pierced the air, cutting through the tension like a knife. The trio fell silent, their eyes fixed on the entrance of the cave.

Layla’s voice trembled as she asked, "What was that?"

Lucias’s eyes were wide with hope. "Maybe it’s one of Elara’s wolf summons, come to guide us back to her cottage."
