Chapter 113: Familiar Face
Shortly after, the station’s broadcast began to sound, featuring a melodious female voice, similar in quality to that of a broadcaster
"Could someone please report if there’s a lost child, about five years old, a boy who is nicknamed Tangtang and currently at Hua’s Restaurant outside the station? Please pass the message around." The announcement was repeated several times, drawing many people who came to check if the child was theirs; however, it turned out not to be.
Of course, this incident unexpectedly brought a lot of business to Hua’s Restaurant, which became famous because of this broadcast.
Soon after, a young teenager walked in, looking quite admirable but his eyes, they really resembled the little guy’s.
"Excuse me, do you have a five-year-old child here, about this tall?" He gestured to indicate the height, wearing a gray cotton jacket, black trousers, and a pair of black leather shoes.
Before Aunt Hua could answer, the little guy dashed out from inside.
"Brother..."
As soon as the little guy saw the visitor, his eyes brightened, he ran over and hugged the teenager’s legs, rubbing his little head against his legs a few times, clearly a child who loved to be coddled and held.
The teenager picked up the child, pinched his little face hard, "Why did you wander off? Let’s go back and see how mom is going to punish you?"
The little guy seemed to think of something, quickly covering his little butt; his large eyes also blinking rapidly, which made the teenager somewhat laugh and cry. Apparently, he was still scared. This little fellow had been spoiled by everyone at home; apart from his father, he listened to no one. Now, he had ended up wandering off. What would have happened if someone had abducted him? Who would care for him then, pamper him? If he became someone else’s child, having proper meals would have been an issue.
