Reincarnated Jester: Taming Players

Chapter 67: Change And Decision

As always, Jung was clinical, and his manner of speech struck a nerve. But Astra could easily contain his feelings.

There was no emotion on his face—only aloofness and coldness as if life itself was boring for him.

Looking at him, when he didn’t even bother hiding his true self, one could easily tell he was different—somewhat inhuman and treacherous.

Astra was a villain tasked with protecting the world, and Jung knew either the Archeons had made a wrong decision or they were onto something far more dangerous.

The Chosen One commented on Jung’s threat, "I have no sentiment nor time to spare on the likes of you. There is only hatred for pests, and I know how to deal with them."

He spoke calmly; not once did his voice lose confidence.

However, there he stood—an even more frightening person.

It was Jung, and he loved to talk, especially when he knew his tongue generated hatred toward him.

"Ronan," he said, ignoring Astra. "I don’t care why you aren’t fighting back, but you can leave him in my hands."

The boy eyed him, examined and considered, and with an agonizing pondering, he was about to withdraw when Astra caught his hand and slashed at him.

It was obvious Ronan could dodge the attack, but he didn’t.
