Chapter 66: Meeting The Chosen One
Biting her tongue, Leora didn’t even try to deny Jung’s assumption, confirming his guess. She was scared, hurt, and confused.
Not knowing how to act, she waited for her death.
Jung stood above her.
He was proud and cocky, showering the girl with a taste of despair, he said, "I knew it. No one in their right mind would wear the costumes he is putting on."
"My brother..." Leora stated.
She finally collected her thoughts and displayed conviction. "His is unique. He is someone who will save this world, and he won’t spare you."
Shaking his head, Jung wanted to laugh at her stupidity.
Leora still thought that she was acting for the greater good, while in truth, behind Walt stood the god who didn’t have humanity’s well-being in mind.
The twins were fooled, and being chosen from Archeons didn’t protect Astra from the god.
’This is weird,’ Jung thought about the world. ’Gods, Archeons, Fracture, players, and me...’
Strange events filled Maskera, but at least Jung was entertained, and he was getting closer to finding Elara.
