Chapter 19: Divine
"Really?" Jung asked in surprise as he went near the surface Nero was talking about. "But I see nothing here."
"That's because you are dumb," the cat answered and touched her paw to the wall.
Nothing happened for about five seconds, and as Jung was about to mock her, both of them felt a tremor.
An intense vibration that made standing nearly impossible. Nero leapt onto his shoulders, and Jung braced himself against the trembling floor.
"What's going on?" he asked in confusion.
There was no door or room he could see.
"Wait for it," Nero advised smugly and clawed his neck.
Frustrated, Jung considered punching the cat, only for the shaking to cease.
A silence descended with a cold temperature, and a door appeared.
It wasn't out of nowhere.
The dark, misty handle manifested on the wall.
