At first no one noticed what happened to Iris because all of them had their focus on the gamma. Redmond and Jace helped to carry him to the side, where Grace and Abby would look after him to make sure he was out of danger and his life was no longer hanging by a thread.
At this time, Aliana had stopped crying, her beautiful eyes were so red like a rabbit, as she followed behind Redmond and her brother to the sideline. All the onlookers were very curious about what was going on with the gamma.

Yet, Abby noticed the salamander in her pocket wriggled its body. She was not sure when the creature had sneaked into her pocket dress. She brought the Salamander with her when they left for the battle with the permission from Iris, thinking Abby would need the creature more than her.
The salamander became very restless, as if this creature felt something and this made Abby looked away from the people, who were overjoyed by the fact the gamma was saved.
She tilted her head and watched Iris was walking to a certain area, while Lou was following her. Cane and a young boy were still kneeling on the ground.
Abby couldn’t hear what Cane was shouting about, because of the commotion around her. More so, they were too far for Abby to see their expression and figure out what was going on there.
