Chapter 610: CLINGY IRIS
Iris softly mewled in Cane’s arms, her body felt very sore, but delightful, she could feel all the traces that her mate left on her body, imprinted on her skin and engraved in her heart, as she was contented and pleased.
Her eyelids were so heavy and she flinched when Cane pulled out of her, as something warm trickled down her thighs.
"Don’t go..." Iris whimpered when Cane moved away from her, but she didn’t open her eyes, she reached out her arms and hugged his neck again, while the alpha softly chuckled against her neck. "Don’t go..."
"We need to clean you up, okay?" Cane whispered to her ear and nibbled on her earlobe, which made her squirmed and shook her head. "I will prepare the bath."
"No." Iris frowned like a stubborn child, she opened her eyes lazily and pouted her lips. "I will come with you."
"You need to get up if you want to come with me." Cane kissed her nose, eyes and forehead. He couldn’t get enough of her. He realized that he had been neglectful of her, since the merchant arrived and he had a hard time to come into an agreement with them and get what he wanted, while at the same time, he had to deal with alpha Nolan too.
The alpha would have found a way to meet with Iris again if he didn’t put more guards around his mate and gave a strict order to the warriors not to let him come closer to her again.
"Okay." She agreed, but didn’t make any attempts to move, instead she closed her eyes, was about to fall asleep. Right now, she was very clingy.
"Iris?"
"Hm?"
"You smell so good." Cane buried his face against the crook of her neck. She smelled so sweet and addictive, as if she was a drug and he was addicted to it.
