Chapter 609: MAPLE LEAVES
Somehow, recently Iris had been desired for her mate more, she wanted his attention and to touch him ever so often, but unfortunately, Cane was always busy.
The alpha would comeback late at night and left before she woke up, there were only a few interactions between them during the day and Iris tried to focus on something else, but Cane’s absence frustrated her.
And this afternoon, she didn’t wish to do anything. She only wanted to be alone, since she was too tired to go out. Her mood has been low lately.
Thinking Cane must be busy right now, or so she thought, she held herself back from looking for him.
A few days ago, Iris overheard one of the mistresses of alpha Adrian spoke about how she could get pregnant. No, she actually read their conversation from afar.
The gist of it was; their position when they did the deed could raise a possibility to get pregnant.
If it was not because of how embarrassed it would be, Iris would have approached them and asked them to elaborate further, but her timid self was still there and to think she would ask such thing only made her face turned into crimson color, which confused Aliana.
She thought, her luna was sick or something to see how red her face was.
Therefore, the only solution Iris had in her hand right now was these books that she bought from the book store a few nights ago during the festivity.
Who would have thought, Cane would come and catch her red handed with the book in her hand...
"Ah!" Iris screamed, she jumped out of her skin to hear Cane’s voice. She immediately threw the book away, as if that thing had burned her hand.
