I transmigrated and got a husband and a son!

Chapter 801: A sworn brother, huh?

When Primo returned to the cabin, he immediately set to cleaning and tidying it up. It seemed as if Heaven had anticipated his inclination toward cleanliness, as the idea of staying in a grimy cabin for even a few days troubled him. Despite his reluctance, he had no choice but to embark on a cleaning spree. Luckily, the kitchen held various cleaning tools and materials, almost as if Heaven had prepped everything for his arrival.

With this in mind, Primo wasted no time and devoted his entire day to making the cabin as livable as possible. Time slipped away unnoticed as he scrubbed floors and walls, momentarily forgetting other pressing matters, as cleaning demanded his complete focus.

Sitting on an old wooden chair in the kitchen, Primo surveyed the cabin. A sigh of relief escaped him, a satisfied smile curling his lips at the noticeable improvement.

"Just a bit more..." he murmured, eyeing the little holes in the walls and the roof. "Or perhaps a little more scrubbing."

He shook his head, a hint of self-reproach tugging at him. "What am I even saying?" His smile vanished, replaced by a click of annoyance as he marched to the fridge for a well-deserved beer.

After a quick sip, he grimaced and huffed, stealing a final glance around the cabin before his gaze settled on the study door. Primo had already conducted a general cleaning and explored the cabin’s small rooms, where he stumbled upon the files and laptop mentioned by Heaven. However, he hadn’t delved deeply into them as cleaning took precedence, and the chaotic environment hindered his focus.

"Damn Heaven Liu," he muttered, trudging toward the study to retrieve the materials she’d left for him.

The longer Primo lingered in the cabin, the more he realized the extent of Heaven’s meticulous preparation. Despite spending the day cleaning and fixing minor issues, he couldn’t afford idleness. If he did nothing, his mind would drift to a place he had evaded for far too long.

Returning to the kitchen, Primo grabbed the wooden chair with the files and laptop, powered up the device, and then browsed through the folders he brought from the study room.
