Chapter 800: That damn Heaven Liu surely did her research
As Primo stepped out of the car, he looked at the small cabin situated in the middle of the forest clearing. Deep lines appeared between his brows, and he turned to the driver’s seat to see Heaven over the hood.
"This is the place?" he asked, almost in disbelief. "What are you? An old person?"
"This place is safe," Heaven replied in a knowing tone. "Keep your complaints to yourself. I made an effort to find a good place for you to stay. It’s not a hotel, but there were great amenities in here!"
"Such as?"
"Such as... the fresh breeze that might clean your polluted soul!"
Primo’s already dead expression turned colder, but he could only shake his head in disbelief. He looked away from her, setting his gaze on the small cabin not far away from their vantage point.
"A primitive life, huh? Well, I guess there’s no difference," he commented, shrugging. "Are we just going to stand here?"
"Of course not." Heaven grinned as she tipped her head in the cabin’s direction. "Let’s go?"
Primo simply nodded as he dragged his feet, following Heaven several steps behind. As he did so, he looked around the surroundings. There was a lot of space surrounding the cabin, but then, everything was trees. It brought him this indescribable feeling in his heart.
Ever since becoming No One, the alias he had known of before he assumed Primo’s identity, he never lived a quiet life. Probably, for a moment, but it had always been chaos. Not that he was surprised about it. After all, the identities he stole led a chaotic life.
"Welcome."
