"Red Alert! Red Alert!"
Everyone in the control room was panicking, typing ceaselessly on their monitors as if their lives depended on it. Their screens kept showing alarms with a blinking note: RED ALERT! It was the same on the large screens in the front of the office, along with the piercing sound of the alarm, indicating their system was being attacked by an unknown party.
"What is going on?!" Wolf pushed the entrance with a bam, followed by his thunderous voice fading quickly by the alarm.
"Chief!" A man turned up from his side, his face dominated by panic. "A virus is attacking our system."
"A virus?" Wolf seethed as his eyes glowed malevolently. "Then why haven’t you done anything to it?"
"The thing is, this virus is different. It went past our initial defense walls and is already trying to penetrate our last defense wall!"
Deep lines appeared between Wolf’s brows as he stared at the unit leader under him. There was only one time the Central Intelligence’s security was compromised. That one time Hera herself made a show in this place. But at that time, Hera didn’t have to go through the hassle of infiltrating this agency’s system because he helped her.
After that unforgettable incident, everyone in the Central Intelligence, with additional funding from the government, created flawless defense walls. The data they gathered was the most important weapon they wielded. Thus, they didn’t want to compromise it again.
