"Grandma..." Axel sat down on the chair beside the bed, holding the old madam’s hand worriedly. "What did she do this time to faint?"
"The doctors said she is fine but needed enough rest," Butler Fu explained to Heaven and Axel as they just arrived in the old residence. "Therefore, you don’t have to worry."
Axel didn’t look at him as he cradled his grandmother’s hand. Meanwhile, Heaven, who was sitting on the edge of the bed near Grandma Zhu’s feet, cast Butler Fu a look.
"Thank you, Butler Fu." Heaven sported a short smile, turning her head at Axel and then at Grandma Zhu. The latter was sleeping soundlessly, and by the look of it, she seemed genuinely fine. It was as if she was just sleeping. Her complexion was also good. Therefore, Heaven felt a little at ease.
Still...
"Axel, can you look after Grandma?" she inquired, earning Axel’s attention.
"Why?" he asked out of instinct. "Where are you going?"
"I’ll just change." Heaven nodded at him slightly. "I’ll join you in a bit."
"Uh.. alright?" Axel rocked his head before turning his head back to Butler Fu. "Butler Fu, can you ask someone to help me move the couch? I’ll stay with Grandma today."
Butler Fu smiled at him. "The Madam might not like it, but alright. I’ll call someone immediately." He lowered his head, bowing at them.
With that being said, Butler Fu walked away from the old madam’s room, leaving Heaven and Axel behind. Heaven idled for a moment, making sure Grandma Zhu was tucked properly before excusing herself. Axel didn’t say much, telling her to take her time.
