Chapter 408: Lines
Pregnancy.
Dominic and Heaven had discussed or casually chatted about anything they could talk about. However, pregnancy was something they never discussed. Both were unsure of the reason, but it didn’t cross them until now.
So, when they heard of the possibility that Heaven might be pregnant, the first person they thought of was Sebastian.
’I should be happy, right?’Heaven wondered to herself, brushing Sebastian’s hair, who had just fallen asleep in their room for an afternoon nap. ’Then why am I nervous?’
If it was true that she was expecting a child, then Heaven should be happy. After all, this child was the fruit of their love. Having a family of her own had always been her dream. People might’ve told her how foolish and lame this dream was, but she didn’t care because that was what she wanted.
So why was she nervous? Jittery at the thought of pregnancy?
Finally, she could go through the journey of pregnancy, birthing, and motherhood. Not that she didn’t remember the original Heaven’s journey toward motherhood, but things were different now.
’Why... am I scared?’her eyes softened, keeping her gaze on Sebastian. "I wonder what Basti would feel if it came out as positive? We never prepared him, after all."
Heaven let out a deep exhale, retrieving her hand from Sebastian’s hair. She assisted herself up, sitting on the edge, head turned back to look at her son. She pressed her lips into a thin line before shifting her eyes to the small brown paper on the bedside table.
