Chapter 324: It looks like I have two heads
When Hera woke up in Heaven’s body, she picked up the habit of staring at her face under the facade of doing her skincare. She did this until she was used to her face, instead of flinching whenever she would see her reflection, only to see another person staring back at her.
Today was different.
The face... those eyes that were looking back at her weren’t from a mirror or a reflection of herself. It was the real Heaven.
How was this possible?
Hera’s gaze crept to Paula, and then to the unconscious person lying beside Paula. It was Heaven, but that other person squatting down near the body was also... Heaven.
’No,’ was Hera’s first thought, holding the original Heaven’s gaze. ’This is not happening.’
Hera hoped deep in her heart this was just a dream — a nightmare. Something she should wake up from now. However, only then she realized she had lost all other senses other than her consciousness. Heaven blinked and then blinked, her eyes were so clear. She showed no reaction; neither surprise nor puzzlement could be seen in her eyes, unlike those eyes looking back at her. Without any change of countenance, she moved her hand closer to her body, eyes still fixed on Hera.
"Oy..." Hera snapped the moment she caught Heaven reaching out for her body. "... don’t you dare go back into that body!"
