"Reverse!"
The command didn’t stop the transformation. His muscles grew and ripped his skin apart. The pain only served to fuel the burning anger in his heart. His natural abilities to regenerate seemed to have reached a new high. A new skin grew, bigger and more leather-like. Fur covered the new skin.
Unlike the patches of white, smooth fur, his body was filled with blood-red, needle-like fur.
Hex towered at a height of four meters. And that was when he was on all fours. His black eyes turned a shade darker as if devouring the night itself.
Hex roared. The roar blew the wind away and parted the snow. In this desolate land, filled with ruin and death, the roar echoed between the earth and sky.
Anger and despair filled his otherwise blank mind. There was no reason left in him. Only the roar echoed. A roar urging him to rage. A roar urging him to attack. A roar urging him to devour.
So, he charged. The royals were up in the air. The distance in space and strength stood in his way. But he didn’t care. He just desired to kill.
