The Amazing White-Spider

Without saying anything, Ekaj tries to grab the shield, but because Doctor Strange is a soon-to-be master of the arcane arts, he cheats by using magic to transform the tablecloth into a massive fist that uppercuts Ekaj while moving the wind towards him.

Ekaj shoots a web at the shield and pulls it towards him and uses the impact of the fist to launch himself deeper into the building and begins running through it, hoping to try and find any exit that doesn't lead him towards his doom.

Strange: "WAIT! YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR way around... buil..."

Once Ekaj was no longer able to hear Strange, he took the time to rest and take a breather since he's yet to truly have one after accepting this job.

But of course, as this was basically another realm of its own, many things didn't seem to make any sort of sense, like how multiple Stranges started walking around with a few flying through the air and some even walking or even crawling on the ceiling.

Some of them appeared to be Jedi Masters, while others seemed to be... well, evil, as their eyes were coated in darkness, and unlike everyone else who wears semi-bright colors, they were wearing far darker colors.

All of them pay little to barely any attention to him, and the ones that do look at him seem to do so with wonder, possibly wondering if he was a new version of them, or maybe they were just wondering who he was and how he got here.

Ekaj wondered the same for the latter as he just remembered running straight, but upon looking back, he saw the hallway seemes to curve, shift, and contort in many different ways to the point that Ekaj's head started hurting the more he watched it move.

Quickly shifting his sight to his left, Ekaj webs up the shield and starts walking around the place in hopes of finding a way out without giving up the shield, as it was the only prize from the pain of getting involved with that civil war.

Ten minutes in this strange place was all it took before Ekaj stopped caring about the shield and wanted to go back home, as he's opened way too many doors that lead him to one of two different dimensions.

One where any of the other Strange's was engaged in something very physical with wide ranges of it seeming like it would be a fun Saturday night to do things that are hell on earth for everyone involved, especially for whatever Strange found himself trapped inside.

The other doors were peeks into other worlds and how different they could have been if certain things were different compared to the world he called home. The greatest change in every universe he found had to be that almost every universe's Spider-Woman was actually Spider-Man and that she, or rather he, seemed to almost always have a terrible life.

Ekaj: "Okay... just what the hell? Like, seriously, why are their lives so miserable? I mean, cancer, death, misery, and incurable illness and missing, and I don't even want to get into whatever the crap was going on with that last one!"

Almost every world Ekaj looked through had just complete depression as far as Ekaj could see for the male version of Penny called Peter, where they are either stuck in a dead-end job with no real partner in life or anything besides being Spider-Man.

Then some seem to be good on the surface, and then everything quickly goes down the drain for them as they're either wanted men or are forced to beg the women they love to take them back or worse.

It's hard to believe that anything could be worse than selling your love to a devil for the life of someone fated to die not that long after and who honestly seemed to be at peace with everything, only for Peter to not be taking things that well.

Walking further down the hall, Ekaj quickly finds a twisted, contorted, and shifted hall that seems to go on forever but also seems to be breaking apart the different events that would form these worlds.

Each of the doors in this section was all different from the normal doors he saw before coming over here, as some looked to be from either another world or another time, both past and future.

Some even seemed to be magical as they looked a bit comic-like with sharp, uneven edges and looked far too dramatized, considering it was a door with a number on it that seemed to be a bit blurry given the weird symbols on the door.

Just as he was about to open one of the doors, Ekaj was suddenly falling through the floor as Strange opened multiple portals that chained up all his limbs and forced both of his souls out of the body as the shield fell right in his hand and quickly vanished after he tossed it like a coin.

Ekaj: "Damn you! Do you have any idea how much of a pain it was getting that damn thing?"

Strange: "With my Eye of Agamotto, I have seen into all realities where you got this thing, and in all of them, you didn't do anything and were merely just lucky as it fell before your feet."

Ekaj looked around, and the first thing he noticed was their shared body, and he began making his way towards it as Strange kept moving it around as Strange rocked the Eye of Agamotto, revealing the link between the body and both Ekaj and Jake.

Once Ekaj sees the tether between him, the body, and Jake, he stops moving, in a surprising twist to Strange. Ekaj turns around and starts making his way towards Jake, who is just floating in place.

As Ekaj got close to Jake, their soul tethers pulsed as they started getting dimmer as the life force of the body started to disperse since the spell was never meant to be used with a being that somehow has more than one soul.

Because of that small oversight Strange has no real way of saving either of their souls from this twisted fate he forced upon them.

Strange: "Damn. This might be why it's taking me so long to become a sorcerer and a doctor at the same time if I make simple mistakes like this."

Ekaj grabs Jake's wrist and thrusts him towards the body as the pulsing quickens, and Ekaj, knowing his time might be up, just flips Strange off as he expects to vanish, only for the tether to swirl around Jake's body and force Ekaj back inside.

Jake or Ekaj collapses while chained up, and Strange feeling some form of pity towards the man and snaps his fingers, causing all the chains to vanish as he falls into another portal and ends up flopping onto his bed, scaring the crap out of his parents, who thought they were home alone.
