Rise Of The White-Demon Part 1
*Warning story gets a bit dark so just letting you all know.
It's been about a month since Ekaj, as the white-haired stranger felt his name to be had arrived at the X-Mansion. During his time here, he was given many odd jobs and other such things since he wasn't a mutant.
Almost everyone in the manor was a little tense whenever Ekaj was around them since, even though his hair was all bright and colorful, his face, however, was filled with death, as there was barely any life in his eyes.
Whenever anyone had the displeasure of interacting with him, they felt like their souls were going to be stolen or eaten by the man, as he was just a void of a person now, and every step near him felt cold enough that people swore they could see their breath.
Of course, it was impossible to do anything like that, as Ekaj couldn't use anything related to ice, or at least he didn't think he could, as he was powerless.
Ekaj: "(Punching a wall with all his might, breaking his arm in the process, causing it to bleed dark red blood that flows out like an ooze.) DAMN THIS BODY! (He punches the same wall with his other fist, causing the same thing to happen but with light red blood this time that flows like a river down his arm and dribbles on the wall and floor.)"
Ekaj remembers everything that happened that night and all the nights that passed before his body got saved, as he was the only thing keeping Jake alive, even if it was nothing more than keeping this blasted body moving and alive.
Every stab, slash, pierce, and gutting the body had received from Mia, along with the bruises that came from everything he knocked into while being forced into the water, was etched into Ekaj's memory as he imagined ways to get revenge on the woman responsible for this!
What made Ekaj even angrier than the mutilation of the body was without a doubt the fact her attempts at killing Jake resulted in him being put into a coma-like space as Ekaj forced whatever remnants of Jake inside a little web to heal him.
Every time Ekaj closes his eyes and focuses his thoughts, he sees his brother, his other half, his Spider-Woman to his Deadpool, but most of all his best friend in such a sight fills him with rage, despair, and other such emotions over his Jake's state.
Having had enough of everything, Ekaj gets ready to leave, as he knows exactly what he needs to help and while he could get it here. They're all far too kind and already have more than enough problems of their own without having to deal with his insanity.
Charles: "It's sad to see you go, my friend. While most didn't enjoy your company, I for one enjoyed picking at your brain, if you'll pardon the intrusion."
Standing in front of Ekaj was Charles, but since he wasn't sitting in a wheelchair or having Logan or Storm near him, this was obviously just a mental projection, which was the only way Charles had been talking with Ekaj.
Ekaj: "I really don't care. The only people who talked to me, as in really talked to me and not this mental figment crap! (Throws a rock right through Charles) are Logan, your guard dog, and Kurt."
Charles: "(Walks around and takes a seat on a projected bench.) Well, if this were real, I'd offer you a seat, but even if it were, I'm fairly certain you'd refuse."
Ekaj just nods his head as he wonders what Charles is getting at.
Charles: "Well, I'm not going to stop you from leaving, as this is a place for mutants to learn and foster their abilities, and while you have some of your own mutant abilities or even natural ones if what I saw was correct."
Ekaj: "Just spit it out already! What do you want from me!?"
Charles: "Nothing much. I just ask that anyone you may meet out there that can be saved be sent over and... help out those that couldn't."
Ekaj just stands there with his eyes wide open as he wonders if what he just heard is truly what the man was saying or if it was nothing more than his own sick and twisted thoughts corrupting what Charles really meant.
Either way didn't really matter, as that's all Charles wanted to say as he vanished along with the park bench, leaving Ekaj full of wonder as to what he might have really meant by saying what he had as he continued walking on back to the mainland.
It took Ekaj three days before he finally made it back to the mainland, as he couldn't run for that long without getting out of breath or breaking his legs, as he had to use and give up basically everything just to keep his body alive for five full days at sea.
This left him with bare bones, quite literally, as it was a struggle to carry a duffel bag filled with some clothes, all adorning the X-Men colors and logo.
Ekaj thinks: A bit pretentious, but good-natured nonetheless.
Once inside the city, the first thing Ekaj does is make his way towards the underground bar, as he needed some meat, and it was the best place to get a large sack of it with hopefully multiple sacks available for cheap.
But before he could even get anywhere near that side of town, he's stopped and pinned to one of the nearby walls by a bunch of idiots who started beating him and kicking him, and Ekaj just wishes he could do anything to fight back.
Thankfully, once they were all done beating the crap out of him for being either a "mutant" or "mutant lover," as they kept screaming while beating the crap out of him. The golden opportunity came when they all turned around to leave and one lagged behind a bit to kick Ekaj one more time.
That's all it took for Ekaj to sink his fangs into the man's warm, rich flesh. As the man tries to scream, Jake forces his hand into his mouth, completely stopping any sound louder than the area around them coming from his mouth.
Growing his teeth into sharp, jagged carnivores' teeth with a wet, meaty tear, Ekaj takes his first rich bite after everything that's happened, and it's warm and sweet, yet slightly sour and sickeningly bitter from all the beer and cigarettes.
As the blood rushes from the open wound all around Ekaj's face and shoulder and splatters across everything else, the man tries to bite off Ekaj's hand and fingers, but unlike the man, Ekaj doesn't mind nor cares what happens to his hand since he can just regrow it.
The same can't be said for the man, even if he were to somehow survive once Ekaj was done with him.
With most of the blood in the man now having been drunk by Ekaj, Jake starts to rip and tear more and more of the food right in front of him, which is a bit hard as it's always a pain when you eat a drumstick or thigh and have to work your way past the bones.
And while Ekaj, or rather Jake, is of Asian descent, Ekaj, however, isn't willing to eat the organs and eyes from what remains.
Mainly because he was full, and the other reason being it was just too much for him, as they didn't offer anything to him that he was looking for compared to all the meat that he had just consumed.
In mere moments Ekaj was hungry again, as all the meat and iron he just got went straight into fixing his hand and body a bit, which gave him enough muscle mass to be like how Jake was before inhaling the white mist.
Ekaj: "More. I NEED MORE!"
Of course, hearing this caused the men to turn around and see the pile of bones and random organs that now stood where their friend once was.
The clothes were used to bind the man as Ekaj ate him like a swarm of piranhas that basically inhaled the meat in front of them until there was nothing left.
Not realizing the danger they were in, both men charged right at Ekaj this time, drawing knives from their pockets as Ekaj did the same, but unlike the men who charged with them, Ekaj just threw the knife right between one of the men's eyes.
As the last man screamed, that was the last thing he ever did, and after five hours of eating, Ekaj walked out of the alleyway looking a bit different in that his pocket was full of three different knives along with a wallet full of whatever cash the men had on hand.
Ekaj thinks: I wonder if Jake's family can notice me as Jake or if the changes have made it hard to notice.
Just as he said that, Ekaj walked past his family, and Haley rushed over and hugged her brother, as did the parents once they finally realized Ekaj was technically Jake, as they were too distracted with finding new areas to post his missing person's poster.
It was a heartwarming situation for the entire Long family, but... Ekaj wasn't a Long, at least not really, since he didn't really care about any of them as much as they cared about him, and Ekaj felt guilty about that as he knew how Jake would act and tried his best to copy him.
But doing so just drained all his mental energy as he was forced to say, act, and give off the energy of their missing son, who was on ice inside his own mind with the darker version of him being in full control of his body.
Ekaj thinks: I don't know where that lady is, nor do I know how she knew where we'd be. However, I do know she's someone with powers like Spider-Woman if she were willing to disguise herself as her, and even with the muffling of the mask, their way of talking is way too similar to be random chance.
After six hours of poking, prodding, and just the parents and sister doing everything to make sure Jake was okay, they finally left Ekaj alone, which he greatly enjoyed as it finally gave him the time to grab Jake's secret notebook from the vent.
Ekaj: "How many people in New York hide things in vents?"
Ignoring the simplistic yet stupid hiding spot that kind of made sense, as it was on the ceiling and Jake only started hiding a journal up there after he drank the droplet of Mr. Fantastic blood.
Looking through the journal, Ekaj makes sure to update all the stuff on the pages along with writing some more, as it was a journal on everything he could do.
Not wanting to mess with something that could prove very helpful if he ever forgets anything. Ekaj rips out a piece of paper and then a few more as he writes down everything he knows for his targets of revenge and how to identify them.
Mom: "SON! IT'S TIME FOR DINNER!"
Ekaj gags a bit as he's not looking forward to eating food that tastes like nothing but has the worst texture he's ever felt, and he's eaten three people since gaining full control over their body.
Ekaj: "Coming!"
With a shiver and a shake, Ekaj tries his best to get ready for the meal he was about to force himself to eat, as the only food worth eating is any form of meat, but sadly, the family seems more vegan or has recently become vegan-lite, considering almost all their food has more vegetables than anything else.
Heck, even the desserts have gotten healthier, as almost everything smelled a bit off, felt a bit off, and tasted a lot worse than it should have when his body craves metal and iron.
Compiling all the notes he wrote for basically his hit list, Ekaj spreads everything as best he could in a neat yet psychotic way so as to not let others know what it is should anyone but him ever find the hit list papers.
Quickly throwing the journal and the vent cover back on the ceiling Ekaj takes a massive sigh, slicks his hair back, and gets ready to eat some chicken with his family.
And that is all for now hope you all enjoyed and until next time stay safe and peace!
