The Amazing White-Spider

Tech-ion-collider

Reporter 1: "It's a wonderful day out today, Phil! As today is the wonderful new addition to this city's energy consumption infrastructure, Oscorp is releasing a brand-new device, a Techioncollider, if my notes are correct. The way I'm told it works is it gets all the unused electrons or whatever from the air and charges them up at super speeds to create lightning that can then be bottled to be used to charge it and all of Oscorp for a single year to see if it's worthwhile or not. This has been Chip Hany with Daily Bugle News. Now back to you."

Cameraman: "Alright, aaaand that's a wrap."

Reporter 1: "Oh, thank the merciful gods! Let's get a couple more pictures for the news board, and then we can all head home."

The reporter's entire team cheers for this news, all except one man, William Baker. The man was an ex-con who worked for Felica's father as the man who taught her everything Felica knows about stealing, as he considered it an art and was very loyal to the man who paid his bills.

All of that changed when the police suddenly bust down his door and, without any real charges, seemed to know exactly who he was as they read him his rights and listed all the crimes he's done, with some of them being impossible to know about unless they were there.

Through the court trial and his time in prison, he found out that Felica's father was the only person who could have turned on him and put him in jail for basically life.

However, because he was a master thief, most, if not all, of the evidence they had of his crimes was only enough to sentence him for ten years, as he also confessed to some of his crimes that he knew they knew about at least to lighten his sentence.

Resulting in him only being in jail for five years as he planned his revenge on Felica's father, only to find out that he fled the spotlight, and no one knew where the heck he went or what possibly happened to him after the symbiote wars, leaving him devoid of anything to do.

It's not like he could rejoin any group or gang, as no one wants a thief that managed to get caught, and no one wants that heat, even if he was a master thief that only got caught after being sold out by his own boss.

Now he's stuck doing basic grunt work for a freaking newsgroup that at any moment could either go under or fire him because of his past.

Will: "(Sighs) What the heck am I doing with my life?"

William stares off into the sky as he wonders if there's any point in even living anymore? Every day he wakes up and does the exact same crap on repeat without fail, with the only exceptions being Sundays and Saturdays, as they are his days off.

Meanwhile inside the Oscorp building, a poor forced-to-be intern, Max Dillon, was arguing with the "genius" who made the Techioncollider. Who actually was just an idiot who managed to get lucky and made Max drunk on the day he was to give his pitch for the Techioncollider, only for it to get stolen and Trevor get all the credit?

Max: "You don't understand! We're nowhere near ready to even try this kind of experiment! It was made to be a test battery for a flashlight to even see if my theories would even work!"

Trevor didn't care as he just pushed Max to the side and pretended to know what he was doing as he turned the device on and accidentally set it wayyyy beyond the viable standards they were working with, and if it wasn't fixed in the ten minutes before the project was finally on air, it had a high chance of blowing up.

Max knew this and tried to fix the damn thing, but he was stopped by Trevor's goons as they grabbed him, punched and kicked him as much as they wanted, and then tossed him inside the reactor core of the Techioncollider with a smile on their faces as they laughed at his suffering.

When there were only three minutes left, Max woke up and began panicking, as he knows what'll happen to him if the thing starts up while he's inside the darn center of this thing!

Max: "HELP! SOMEBODY!"

Will: "What?"

Will, who had snuck off into the backstage for a smoke, heard Max screaming for help, and while he wasn't really the type of guy who'd usually care about others pleading for help or just looking at him with mercy.

Everything changed for him when he heard he had a daughter and that so long as he lived a life of darkness and cruelty, according to his ex-flame, he would never be able to see her, and it's the only reason he hasn't broken from his momentous life.

Will: "(Throws his cigarette on the ground and stomps it out.) I bet she'd be happy if I saved a man's life."

Having some kind of hope upon hearing another person's voice, Max began to scream even louder than before as he began banging on the door inside the core that made a staircase when it was opened, which caused Max to cut his hands as he kept banging on the stair door.

Will, having dropped out of school, was just trying his best to force the door open, but as the thing was about to activate in a minute, the door wasn't going to open for anyone except maybe the Hulk or others with similar strength.

In their last moments of stable thought, Max and Will both thought of the same thing as their bodies fused into one before they turned into red particles that caused a massive feedback explosion that destroyed the entire area the project was located in.

The death toll was in the thousands, but those were considered the lucky ones by the news and the people who were forever changed by the particles that briefly existed before the machine blew up.

Osborn. Norman Osborn was shocked when he heard what happened, as he never thought something that was supposed to help the city would cause more damage than he'd ever seen before, as it caused all sorts of problems for the teenage CEO.

Martin Li was one of the people affected, and he was one of the most obvious victims, as he kept creating violent surges of dark and white energy that would have killed him if they weren't kept in check before he could properly control them.

Many more were affected than was beyond anyone's knowledge, as the red particles would lie dormant, waiting for the people who had them to have the same intense feelings as Max and Will had, which were fear, hope, rage, and regret.

For twenty-three years the men would be in unbearable pain and agony as what remained of their mortal thoughts, they held onto for dear life, as it was the only thing that kept them remaining in this mortal realm.

Max, of course, wanted power! This was twisted from his desire to be seen as more than just a nerd who could get pushed around by others but also as someone who could hold his head up high for all his work that would help humanity.

Will desired his daughter, and that was the only thing that kept him intact, as he only wanted to prove that he was something more than a monster, even if that's what he thought of himself as.

When both men arrived back in New York City, Will had appeared as one of the sandy beaches as he formed his limbs and tried to make himself whole, which resulted in Spider-Woman taking him down as everyone assumed he was just a normal monster.

But instead of killing him, the electric shock managed to start up Will's brain enough that he remembered what his body looked like, and he woke up as his sandy self and would begin working as a thief once again.

Will: "No one's going to stop me from seeing my baby girl."

The man said as he watched his daughter live her life with her own family as happy as she could ever possibly be, especially after that woman placed her up for adoption the night she told him about her existence.

Of course, he wanted to talk to her and just let himself be known as more than just a friendly neighbor that worked at night, same as Penelopy, as she named herself, as no one seemed to want her for some reason.

However, as his body turned brittle and back into sand the moment anything touched his body, including a pleasant breeze, he knew that was no father a young woman should ever have, and so long as she was happy, then so was he.

Every night he was tempted to sneak into her apartment to know what kind of life she lived while he wasn't there and just what she liked and hated and anything he could really know about her.

Max, however, woke up during a lightning storm that remade his body but without any problems, as he had become a demigod of lightning and electricity!

The downside to his state was that he always had to eat more and more energy in order to use any abilities, and batteries just weren't going to cut it, so he needed pure energy in order to function, but even more importantly, he needed more power to be GOD!

With the need to have more power, Max hired Will to help him sneak into a nuclear power plant so he could eat all the pure energy that was being made like it was an all-you-can-eat buffet!

Max: "Now it's time to dig in!"

Spider-Woman: "I know nuclear energy looks refreshing and all, but I doubt it's as nice as you think."

Max grunts as he throws off his hoodie, revealing his muscular body that has no hair on any part of it as he starts absorbing the energy all around him as he gets ready to fight Spider-Woman, who is doing her job in saving the day.

Will just watched and grumbled as he didn't understand nor care about what was going on so long as he got paid for the job, as he needed money for his daughter, and he wasn't about to just go home back to his mundane job empty-handed.

And that is all for now hope you all enjoyed and next week is the follow up so hope to see you then but until stay safe and peace!
