The Amazing White-Spider

Jake walks around the area some more, and after ten hours of searching around, he finally finds a trace of Martin Li, and it seems that he's vanished inside his own little realm, acting as a sort of bomb that unleashed all this... whatever these things are.

Now the million-dollar question would be. How on earth does Jake get to Li and either bring him back or kill him? Whatever he has to do in order to stop the destruction of the planet or just New York City, as the world just seems to hate it from all the constant attacks.

Jake: "Ah, screw it. When in doubt, just make things go boom."

Crouching down, Jake begins grunting in pain as he begins changing his body into that of a purple tack suit with glowing purple circuits all around the suit, and only when he was down did Jake finally calm down.

Holding his arm out, Jake transforms his arm into a massive cannon and charges it up, and before he sets off the massive blast, he wonders why black and white orbs of light were swirling around his cannon.

Shaking his head as he tries to ignore the orbs, Jake gets ready to blast the area. Martin Li vanished, and the next thing he knows, he's inside an inverted plane of existence where the only colors that exist are black and white.

Turning his arm back to normal, Jake sees a ripple that echoes against the entire place, revealing that everything seems to also be based around sound, and once the ripples vanish, the only thing Jake can see around him is a small circle probably made by his heartbeat.

???: "So. Someone's finally found their way here."

Jake turns around and looks at the man who just talked, and it was Martin Li. But he wasn't the version that caused all this, as he had hair far too long for the clean and pristine version that caused all this mess in the first place.

Jake: "Martin Li, I presume?"

Martin Li: "(Holds his hands up) The one of three."

Jake: "What?"

Martin Li: "I once was the only Martin Li, but because of Norman Osborn, I've long since been forced into three. The real me you're talking to. And then my Yin and Yang forcibly separated, struggling for control over my body."

Jake was about to ask him what he meant, but then suddenly two figures came crashing through one of the buildings, and Jake saw the clean versions of Martin Li, one mostly white with some black and the other the exact opposite.

Without even saying anything, both figures kept crashing into one another until they finally rumbled their way through the street, leaving Jake confused and the real Martin Li just sighing as he was far too used to this kind of thing and seemed to want it all to end no matter how.

Jake: "Do you know how to get out of here?"

Martin Li: "It's simple (shrugs and points towards the sounds of fighting); if any of us beat the others, then we'll go back to the real world, but I've long since stopped being able to put up a fight. I mean, I'm just a normal person compared to them and their superhuman abilities and bodies."

Martin Li slumps on the steps and just tries to relax as best he can on them, as he doesn't care about much of anything anymore and has given in to his other halves, letting them do as they please around here.

Jake, however, didn't want to stay around here for the rest of his life and wanted to get out while also saving the world, and as it seemed, killing Martin Li wouldn't help him escape or probably stop the infestation; it meant he'd have to help him break free.

Walking over to Martin Li, Jake gives him a good and hard smack across the face and picks him up by the collar of his worn and torn suit and tie.

Jake: "Alright, listen up! This is your body! You're way! Your life! Anything those two can do, so can you, as they come from you, and if they're made by whatever Norman did, then you have the same power somewhere deep inside! Now reach down and grab it! Crush it! And show it how you're in control and not the other way around!"

Martin Li just shrugs and turns around as he continues lying on the steps like a homeless man who's given up on life.

Jake: "Alright. If that's how you want to play it, then I'll play it your way, but also my way."

Martin Li looks around at Jake and wonders what he meant by that but quickly gets his own question answered as Jake grabs his leg and pulls him towards his body as Jake starts carrying him like a massive club and begins charging towards the sounds of conflict.

Martin Li: "What. Are. You. Doing. To. Me?"

Jake: "Well, if the only way to get out of this place is for one of you two to win, then I'll just use you to beat the others to death. You win the fight. I get to relieve some tension. And we're both out of here back in the real world, so I'd say it's like hitting three birds with one stone."

Martin Li just sighs, but Jake ignores this and keeps running towards the chaos that was happening outside, and when he finally meets the duo, they are very worn out and are also slowly regrowing their suits and a couple of limbs the other must have torn off.

Jake: "Perfect! This won't take as long as I thought it would!"

Martin Li: "What, wo—"

Before Martin Li can say anything else, Jake jumps in between the two and starts smacking them around with the real Martin's body, which causes the Black version of Martin to lose a couple of teeth.

The white one charged at Jake, and he just spun the real one around and threw him feet first towards the white Martin Li and then quickly grabbed him again, carrying him in his arms.

Jake: "Now that they're stunned, it's time to put the smack down on them!"

Quickly jumped towards the white Martin for no better reason than he called himself the white spider, so if anyone was taking the white version of Martin out, it was going to be him and the real Martin, who seemed to be in pain but was still too lazy to stop Jake from using him as a weapon.

When the white Martin Li was finally taken out, Jake slammed the real one onto the white one just as it was turning into white orbs of light, as the surviving Martins might have needed to absorb whatever the fallen ones released.

Sensing something was wrong or maybe because it healed from being stun locked, either way, the black version of Martin was awake again and charged at the pair. Only for Jake to stop him by palm striking him right in the chin and then kicking his leg.

Jake: "Sorry. I know it's a dirty tactic, but I'm in a hurry here, and I want to get out before everyone I know becomes an adult and I'm stuck as a teen."

Grabbing the back of the real Martin's shirt, Jake piledriver slams him into the black version of himself, causing the figure to turn into black light that the real Martin absorbs and blinks out of the place, leaving Jake still trapped inside.

Jake: "Damn it! So, what the heck do I have to do in order to get out?"

Suddenly multiple symbiotes of Jake appear ready for a fight and are in desperate need to get out and do whatever they want, with the exception of Ekaj, who joined Jake's side, as they've always been together and he's not the biggest fan of being in control.

Ekaj: "I find it more fun to watch and laugh than to be the idiot in the driver's seat."

Jake rolls his eyes as he charges right at the symbiotes with his other half and Martin Li. The real Martin Li, for the first time in a very long while, is finally outside, and he can feel the sunlight on his wrist and the cool breeze of the autumn air.

Before he knows it, he's surrounded by heroes and S.H.I.E.L.D. grunts who are all pointing some very alien and dangerous-looking guns at him.

Martin Li: "Okay. This is a very drastic mistake. I know you probably won't believe me, but this wasn't done by me. It was instead caused by another version of myself who was either fighting for control of my body, or this was his plan, and the fight over control just complicated things."

Of course, nobody believed him, as who in their right mind would believe multiple personalities fighting over control of a body AND one or more of them just so happened to be evil while one was in fact innocent of all the crimes?

Wanting to prove his innocence, Martin Li crouched down and began absorbing everything that was made by his other self, which was a very long process even if he was absorbing a lot of his stuff, because the infection had spread quite a long distance.

But it was a necessary process even if Martin Li felt like he was dying the entire time, as he wasn't just absorbing the things he made; he was also absorbing everything they were connected to with all the people and places, and it was far too much information to process all at once.

Martin Li wasn't going to let the excruciating pain stop him, however, as he kept at it, as he wanted the whole world to see that he was just crazy and not a terrorist that wanted to change the world into its opposite.

Meanwhile, far off in the distance, T'Challa had just landed on the Helicarrier for whatever Nick Fury wanted from him, along with investigating the place that had stolen all the ceremonial items for his coronation ceremony, as this was the last location from the GPS signal.

The first person he met was a pretty-looking woman named Ava who, once upon a time, was to be one of his many lovers but was disgraced and thrown out of the royal palace over her actions.

She was also the first person that T'Challa had on his side, as everyone else feared angering the next king and made it impossible to find out any fault he might have with himself and where he was lacking as a king.

T'Challa: "Ah, Ava, it has been far too long since we last met. How has city life been treating a woman of your stature?"

Ava: "Yeah. (Rolls her eyes and stomps her heel.) I really missed those skimpy "uniforms" and getting ogled at by everyone who happened to be interested in me."

T'Challa snickered as the girl he hadn't seen for quite some time was still the same person as ever, which made him smile even if he knew the chance of getting with her again was so small they might as well have been the fly hovering around a rhino's dumping ground.

Ava: "Anyway, I've been told to show you around the place and help you out with whatever you may need, as if you haven't noticed the city is currently in a lockdown."

T'Challa: "Ah yes. One of the many problems my security force has warned me about when I came to investigate a theft of royal property. I don't know who the person was other than they can turn into animals with yellow skin."

Ava gulped, as this was one of the worst things that could possibly happen for her and S.H.I.E.L.D., as even if she didn't really know why he was there, she still knew the person T'Challa was looking for was Jake, most likely on a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ava thinks: "Ah, crap. How the heck am I going to solve this without risking angering Fury or T'Challa without selling out Jake... Damn it!"
