The Amazing White-Spider

Negative Ten [Harry]

Deep inside the Helicarrier, Harry was living, if you could even call it that, as best he could while the only people he knew tried their best to calm him down and get him to rest, as he hasn't slept a wink since he saw the letter Martin Li sent to his father three days ago.

He curses himself for how useless he is, as the only thing he could do for his father was report to the police about the letter, even though he knows just how useless the police in this damn city are since far too many officers are either on someone's payroll or are so incompetent they might as well be sitcom protagonists.

Harry thinks: "Why must I and Father suffer!? After our mother and then getting robbed by the government, now this!? Why must we go through so much trouble and suffering?"

Inside the massive room Harry saw his best friend Penny seeming to try and sneak out but without any real success, as the place seemed far too airtight to have any openings other than the sole door they walked through.

On the other side, Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy were talking to one another about many different things that Harry found hard to understand or follow, as they seemed to be talking in some sort of code that even Penny found difficult to understand.

But from what he could guess, they didn't seem all that happy to be in this room and seemed to be even angrier at Martin Li for destroying their city or whatever he was doing.

Harry was really just guessing everything, as the only words he understood were "Martin Li" and something that seemed like a location, which, with context clues, this place and annoyance at Martin Li were the only things it possibly could be.

Meanwhile, through a camera, Nick Fury and Agent Coulson were watching over the group, or rather Harry Osborn, since he and Norman were the only people Li seemed to be after, and it would be a cold day in any hell before Nick turns anything over to a terrorist.

Nick Fury: "So how long do you think it will be before they find a way out?"

Agent Coulson: "Well, sir, as per your suggestions, there's about one secret exit/entrance to every room, hallway, bathroom, or crevasse in case they're needed, and as you're the only one who knows all of them, I guess it'd take them. (Looks at watch) Fifteen minutes to find the fridge and the door inside, but if not, then three hours."

Nick Fury: "(Crosses his arms) Fair point and estimation, but I think in five minutes they'll find something."

Agent Coulson: "And why is that, sir?"

Nick Fury: "Because in two minutes someone affiliated with Li will bomb the ships' engines, causing power fluctuations that will open the door for them."

Agent Coulson: "Sir, if I may ask. Why must we do this to young Harry and Spider-Woman?"

Nick Fury: "Because I don't trust him or his father. There's something about them that isn't quite human, and I want to know what it is. As for young Penny, I just want to see if she has what it takes to be a real hero and not just some Avenger."

The two sigh as on a small TV in the corner that was forced upon them, as it's the only thing that can't be tracked and shows the most relevant news.

Nick Fury: "Damn wizards."

On the TV the Avengers were once again hogging the spotlight as they were selling some random crap as well as promoting a brand-new movie about one of them or having them appear in the movie, as they were more of a brand than a heroic group.

Nick Fury: "I know America's all about commercialism, but I believe this is taking things too far, especially when their home is being destroyed and they're too busy looking pretty to try and help."

The two men sigh as they keep watching over Harry's group; just on cue, an explosion is heard all across the ship, causing the power to fluctuate just enough for Harry and Penny to dash out of the room before the power turns on again.

Penny runs as far as she possibly can, as she wants to find a safe place without cameras to change into but can't find anything.

What she does find, however, is a lot weirder, as she finds her Spidey Buggy. Something she was at one point paid to drive around in, which was quite nice, as she was learning how to drive, as she was just thirteen when she got the thing.

Penny: "Why the heck is this here? I thought it was destroyed in a huge explosion?"

This was public information, as while the buggy did explode, it was because Taskmaster was behind the buggy and was using some built-in sensors and cameras to gain as much information about Spider-Woman as possible and would have succeeded if not for another criminal hacking into it and trying to blow her up.

Agent Coulson: "Sir, why did you insist on having the lab recreate that without Taskmaster's monitoring devices?"

Nick Fury: "Because a bike would have been too obvious, and she needs something to help her look through the city, as the ground no longer seems to be safe."

Feeling like she doesn't have much of a choice Penny presses a big red button next to the buggy and jumps in and grabs a folded bag from her backpack and unfolds it, revealing a red and gold Spidey suit.

Penny: "I hope Tony knows what he's doing with me and this suit!"

Grabbing a bit of loose fabric on the back, Penny drags it over her head, revealing it to be a built-in hood that can shrink or grow when needed.

The suit glows a bright blue as wires and circuits glow with a HUD appearing before Penny almost exactly like a video game, as she has a mini map on the side and next to it many different functions that all flood her vision as she looks at them one after another.

Spider-Woman: "DAMN YOU, IRON MAN!!!"

Harry, meanwhile, was clenching his chest, as just like his mother, he has some health problems, but thanks to his dad's constant experiments, they've begun to fade quite a bit, only flaring up here and there randomly, almost like they were mocking the young teen for daring to forget about them.

With his heart pounding louder than any drum, sweat drenching every part of his body to the point you'd think he tried to shower with his clothes on, Harry tried his best to walk around as insane laughter started to creep into his mind.

???: "They're laughing at you, boy! ALL OF THEM! No one trusts you, and who can? It's not every day you meet the son of a man who killed his own wife."

Harry: "SHUT UP!!! MY DAD NEVER DID THAT! HE LOVED MY MOTHER AND WOULD NEVER HARM HER!"

The laughing continued as it got quieter, just as Harry's legs got number and weaker, making it harder for him to stand, let alone keep walking, but he managed to break through the pain and dullness and came across Vulture's wings.

Gulping so loud it produced an echo in this silent room, Harry dragged himself over to Vulture's wings and suit and put them on himself as its bright green lights flashed while the suit shrunk to fit the young, sickly teen's body, letting him move around as he pleased once again.

Quickly getting to work, Harry turned the old wings into a glider, as it was the best he could do given the time crunch and circumstances, as he didn't have enough time to learn how to make the wings work, and blew up the wall and started flying down towards the city.

Nick Fury: "Damn, the kid couldn't find the multiple buttons that open the place to quickly get rid of things before they explode and just had to make one on his own."

Agent Coulson: "Sir. Why... why did you have us leave a replica of the codename "Vulture" suit and wings for young Osborn to find and use?"

Nick Fury: "I didn't. Someone else on this damn ship wanted someone else off this ship and used my authorization to keep people from touching it."

Agent Coulson: "But no one knows each of the codes you give every agent when they join but you, sir. Even I don't know all of them, and I helped you make about half of them."

Nick Fury: "Yes. But so long as they know at least two codes, then they can make it seem like they got dire instructions from me and got the suit where they needed it and just so happened to predict this was the way Young Osborn walked."

Nick Fury groans over a possible mole in his organization that he hasn't found yet and rubs his head while Coulson gives him some hot chocolate with some fruit-flavored marshmallows and some whipped cream with some sour sprinkles.

Feeling proud of himself, he placed the drink down in front of his boss, who took a look at the drink and then Coulson and sighed once more as he chugged the thing and groaned, as he's not the biggest fan of anything but pure black coffee or very bitter coffee to drink.

Nick Fury: "Why do you always make me things you know I don't want?"

Agent Coulson: "To put to use your Secret Santa present as well as give you something new and sweet to digest, as it helps your body compared to your awful eating habits when left to your own devices."

Nick Fury groans since he knows Coulson gave him the damn thing three years ago and makes sure to use it every chance he possibly can to give him, or rather force him to drink, whatever weird drinks he can think of.

It's gotten so bad that Nick Fury thinks he shows up to work just to feed him that crap more so than to help him protect and save the world from whatever problems it gets itself into thanks to all the idiots around the world.

The new Spider-Buggy lands, or rather crashes, onto the street and, unlike the first, is entirely intact and doesn't seem to have any scratches, dents, or anything that might show it just went through about four buildings and a thirteen-hundred-foot drop!

Spider-Woman: "Now where the heck to go..."

Harry was currently trying his best to fly his glider and only managed to keep the thing in place by standing like a massive creep with his legs apart as much as he could without it getting too uncomfortable.

Pulling down his goggles Harry was surprised to see everything that it was recording, but more importantly, it had a glide-guiding GPS-seeming feature that would turn red and lose its mind whenever Harry moved even a centimeter away from its directions.

Harry was greatly conflicted on whether or not he should keep using the goggles or not, as on one hand they were helping him greatly, while on the other they were the greatest pain he's had to face all week.

Some birds quickly made the decisions for him as they either cut it off or somehow stole the thing from his head. Either way, Harry no longer had to worry about the thing and just needed to keep himself going wherever he wanted and hope the former wings didn't die.

When Harry landed, his glider was letting out massive amounts of black smoke along with sounding just like the old washing machine Penny used to have that would almost always destroy at least one piece of clothing whenever it washed anything.

Nervously walking down the steps, Harry comes face to face with Logan, aka Wolverine, who was currently looking at some photo that Harry couldn't quite see with a beer in his hand and a keg between his legs.

Harry: "Um... is everything okay?"

Harry looks down and sees a woman with a similarly angry face posing with two blades coming out of her knuckles, and Harry sees a proud smile on Logan's face once he sees the look of horror on Harry's.

Logan: "Not really, bub. (Chugs the full bottle and throws it at a wall) Just missing my family is all."

He jumps off the keg, and Harry has to hold back his chuckle as Logan stumbles a bit but just barely manages to hold back as the man drives off into the sunset with his motorcycle, leaving Harry greatly confused.

Harry: "Who the heck was the guy she was stabbing?"

And that is all for now hope you all enjoyed and until next time stay safe and peace!
