The Amazing White-Spider

Jake finds himself watching from a distance as a city once full of vibrant colors is quickly becoming devoid of everything but bright neon white and pitch abyssal black, and from the brief moment's cameras recorded of the place before cutting to static, the people inside are zombies.

Jake yelling over the radio: "Reminds me of the Symbiote Wars."

Ava just rolled her eyes over Jake, as did Penny, while Harry was just excited over feeling like a special agent even though this was all just special circumstance.

Nick Fury over the radio: "I hope your excitement lasts because from what's going down in the city, it's an all-out hellscape."

Over the radio everyone hears screams from monstrous-sounding people along with constant explosions, energy blasts, slashes, gunfire, tank blasts, electric hums, and fire, possibly from a flamethrower.

Nick Fury over the radio: "Your mission is to just sit back and relax in the only safe place in New York, the Helicarrier, and stay safe along with your father as soon as we locate him!"

Harry was, of course, the person Nick was referring to, as Ava's family was still in Africa, Penny had no idea who her parents were, let alone if they were even alive, and Jake's dad was a basic office worker for Oscorp, or rather Alchemax, from the letter Jake found when he went to search for his family.

It was hard for Harry to feel comfortable being looked after, as his father taught him not to rely on others, but at the same time he was hoping other people could find and rescue his father or that black and white man might hurt him.

Penny, meanwhile, was only coming up as she wanted to know if her Aunt May was safe and okay, as the black and white substance was quickly taking over their neighborhood and she couldn't find nor get in contact with her.

Once the helicopter landed, everyone was greeted by Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy, Felicia Hardy, Flash Thompson, and Eddie Brock, and as odd as it might have been to see them all happy to see them, they quickly realized it was because they were the only ones they knew left.

This immediately left Penny heartbroken, and while Jake tried to reach out to help her, he was stopped by his other friend group, which let Harry comfort her in his place.

Jake gripped his hand for just a moment, but it was enough for Ekaj to notice and smile at as he saw Jake was coming over to his side more and more, even if he didn't realize it himself.

Rose: "(Looking at Jake's fist and pained look in his eyes) Are you okay?"

Jake: "Yeah... it's just... (looks over the place and lingers for a moment or two at Harry and Penny hugging before turning back to Rose) a very hard thing to see."

Rose and the others probably didn't know what he really meant, or maybe they did but felt it wasn't their place to tell.

A couple of agents arrive and lead everyone where they need to go, and one by one Jake sees everyone leave him with the exception of Ava, and both of them would honestly prefer if the other got called away, as things were still awkward, as it's only been a day since the "incident."

Two agents arrive and give both Jake and Ava some orders—two vastly different orders that neither knew anything about, but it was obvious what Jake's was, as he jumped right off the side of the Helicarrier and dove right back down into the city.

Landing right onto the roof of the Fantastic Four building, Jake is immediately met with a stretched-out punch that Jake just barely managed to dodge with Ekaj's help but then felt a hit on the back of the head.

A gentle breeze blew across the roof as Mr. Fantastic walked over to Jake wearing a metal bracer over his left arm that pulsed something blue, both light and dark, as Mr. Fantastic held it in place, grunting as he held back the pain.

Sue: "(Rushes over to her husband) Are you okay?"

Reed: "(Grunts) Ah, yeah. It's barely holding on, but if we can analyze our first live subject, maybe we can understand what Mr. Li has done with these people."

The two look over at what they thought was a knocked-out body and how it was getting up off the ground like a possessed human as Ekaj was in control, and he knew just how creepy this looked and was playing it up as best he could.

Along with the possessed look, Ekaj was shifting the body's clothes to look more martial artist-like, as he wore a sleeveless top and some oversized pants only held up by a double-knotted fabric belt and Naruto sandals.

Ekaj: "Ah, (Cracks his neck as his hair goes from black to bright white along with his eyes.) I'm not with this Li fella, but I am here under Nick Fury's orders to help you all out. But seeing how you wanted to hit me first, I can only say it's fair to push back, right!?"

Before either of them could answer, Ekaj equipped some jet boots and quickly made his way to the two as he slammed them both down so hard it cracked the roof open, and all three of them fell through the roof right onto Ben and Johnny.

Neither of the two was looking too hot (mind the pun), as it looked like Ben was missing an arm, or maybe it was barely hanging on underneath the shoulder cape, as Ekaj could barely see a finger or two. Johnny, meanwhile, was wearing a collar and looked very depressed and in normal clothes.

Ekaj: "Waste not, want not, and all that!"

Without hesitation, Ekaj also charged at the two and sliced them up a bit and drank their blood with a happy smile on his face that seemed like he was getting a bit high, which he was, as Jake never tried or let Ekaj go after people with powers.

Since he already drank some blood from Reed and whatever the thing had as blood, nothing new happened, but thanks to both Storm siblings, he has some new powers, even if it's just being able to tolerate the heat and vaguely understand if something's invisible or not.

Both suck compared to what he could have gotten, but since he can't eat either of them to see if his powers are enhanced or not, then it's better than nothing.

Like a crazed man, EKaj helps the four of them back up like he didn't just attack them and cut them up while also peeling off a piece of Ben's rock body to eat, which creeped them all out, but they were in desperate need of some help.

Reed: "We tried to come to a peaceful agreement with Li, but his anger at Norman is far too great for him to let go, and the few seconds I can even remember of our scrap, I just remember demons and fear. I (hands shake as Sue tries to calm her husband by holding his hand) know demons don't truly exist, but..."

Ben: "But the things we saw seemed so real, almost like they were made from our own worst demons, and Johnny here (as gently as he could, he pats Johnny on the back) hasn't said a word since that battle."

Ekaj: "Okay... and? What the heck does that do to help me?"

Richard: "I'm saying we need more time; we don't even know a thing about how Li's powers work nor how to stop them, especially when all of us have his mark."

All four of them show off a flashing black and white contaminated part of their body, with Reed's arm being obvious; then Ben's entire right arm up until his hand; Sue has a massive bullet-hole-looking scar on her back, which she has to move her hair to show.

Sue: "(Hugs Johnny's back) My brother's flames took to looking different, probably why he's so different now."

Ekaj doesn't really care about any of them; however, he is curious as to what these marks seem to be, along with what they might do to him.

Standing up, Ekaj turns around and looks around the area, and somehow the place looks even worse than the symbiote wars, and they were off-planet for a couple of weeks by the time all that went down.

With a heavy sigh, Ekaj turns towards the four, and without hesitation, he stabs each and every single one of them with his fingers right on their marks, causing all of their eyes to glow bright white in their left eye and pure black in their right.

Meanwhile, back on the Helicarrier, Ava was getting informed that T'Challa was for some reason planning a visit in a couple of weeks, and while they have no idea how long this will keep going, he wants her, as a member from the same land, to figure out why he came here.

Ava: "I don't know if you know this, but I'm not exactly, you know, in the in crowd of the royal family."

Nick Fury: "I know you don't have the best relationship with the royal family, but I expect your training to help you find out why the prince of Wakanda, along with the Black Panther, wants to visit New York just as Mr. Li is having the greatest meltdown this city has seen since Electro, Sandman, or Gravity-Man."

Ava just rolls her eyes and leaves Nick Fury's office as Agent Coulson walks in, and the two nod as the door is closed and sealed tight as well as decompressed of all the air inside just to make sure that anyone inside without their knowledge passes out.

Outside the office Penny was as high up as she possibly could be as she looked over her phone as she looked over her web app. A little fan app that has been really helpful over the years and was even the only way of knowing what was going on down in the city.

That and it was the only way of knowing how people feel and think about the current situation and who they're with, which is the only way she can think of to contact her Aunt May.

Penny thinks: "I knew I should have attached that tracking spider after her second kidnapping! Damn it!"

On the ground floor Harry was trying his hardest to look for Penny as Mary Jane was trying to keep him down and inside the private room they've lent to Norman's son, as it was the only way of keeping him safe and away from Li.

But at the same time the teenage idiot wanted to look around and find his father, who he hadn't been in contact with for three days after he suddenly had to leave during their evening dinner. He still remembers how he suddenly had to take a call even though his phone never once rang.

Meanwhile, deep underground, Norman was surrounded by a pile of bodies and ripped clothes as his bloodshot eyes slowly started going back to normal as Norman went from laughing like a madman to laughing crazily to laughing and then being stern, all in a matter of seconds, before immediately restarting.

A screen behind him was flashing "GG-1" over and over again as a pumpkin was circling around the screen, showing off the 3D image as statistics revealed it's actually a very powerful explosive device that can't even begin to be compared to any explosive known to man!

Norman: "Yes, dear. I know I've spent far too long away from the boy, but don't worry, all I have to do is take care of all the problems in his path, and our son will finally be free to live however he pleases."

Norman walks away and punches the monitor clean off the computer as it fluctuates a bit, showing a checkmark next to "GG-2" as a brief image of Harry is shown back when he was a little kid dressed up like a little goblin archer.

As Norman flies away on a mechanical glider dressed just like his son but in an outfit fit for an adult, the place he was just in starts to explode, revealing it was or was connected to an Alchemax building, as its logo was all that remained.
