Deep in the night, as everything is as stable and normal as one could find in New York City, a mugger is counting the money he just stole from some poor man as his girlfriend watches and looks annoyed that her boyfriend wasn't doing anything against the man with both a gun and a knife.
Mugger: "Are you kidding me? You've got only twenty bucks on you? No seriously, how the heck can you survive in this city with this little? Like the only reason I'm doing this is because my normal nine-to-five just barely manages to cover my rent and barely leaves any money for food."
Girlfriend: "(Speaks in a New Jersey accent) Like, I know, right. I keep telling him he can't afford like someone like me while working at McHoney's."
The mugger just looks at the woman and then back at the man and then at the woman once again, as he can't believe anyone living in New York would ever date a New Jersey gal.
Mugger: "Look, at first I felt bad, but if you're going to date someone like her with all that fake hair and those nails and, I'm fairly certain, expensive clothes, then you really deserve this."
Mr. Boyfriend can't even say anything as he just looks down, as he already knows what he's about to get when and if they get home.
While the mugger puts the money in his wallet and the girlfriend berates her boyfriend, something moves through the air with a violent swoosh that blows some of the girlfriend's fake hair off as well as moving her hoodie down.
Everyone looks around and sees a feminine-looking creature superhero lands on a parked car that completely breaks and crushes the car.
The woman jumps and swings some black and white webs at the broken car towards the group, causing them all to panic, with the mugger shooting his gun at the woman, who suddenly disappears and reappears right in front of the mugger.
What everyone saw in front of them was a demonic white and black symbiote-looking woman who seemed more feral than any of the others as a large tongue came from her mouth and she licked the mugger's fear-soaked cheek as the man cried.
Mugger: "(With tears in his eyes as he drops his gun, revealing it to be nothing more than a stage prop as it snaps in half) Plea... please don't hurt me."
The symbiote hisses and bends the mugger's neck and starts licking it as she gets ready to sink her teeth into the poor man's flesh. She lifts her head up and gets ready to bite into him only to get punched with a massive fist as a soldier in white armor swings in with an elongated arm.
???: "For god's sake, woman, just stop! I know you're in there somewhere, so just fight it. (The crazy symbiote woman pounces on the man.) I... (grunts) don't want to hurt you."
From the white soldiers' arms, some tentacles burst from them as they stab into the woman's back, causing her to scream.
The symbiote woman looks at the white soldier man and starts slashing at him with her claw hands while the white soldier man tries his best to guard against all her attacks, revealing the armor was more aesthetic than functional.
Somehow the white soldier man manages to grow an extra pair of legs from his stomach and kicks the woman off him and, for some reason, backflips back up.
White soldier man: "I'm going to need this."
Mugger: "What?"
The white soldier man grabs his knife, and his arm turns purple for a couple seconds as the knife melts and is absorbed into the man's arm as he swings his arm downward and forms a longsword that's typically associated with holy knights.
Demonic Symbiote Woman: "(Screams like a banshee as she backflips onto the side of a building and starts running away.)"
White Soldier Man: "Get back here!"
The white soldier man rushes after the demonic symbiote woman as he grows and extends his legs as he practically walks over the giant apartment buildings and multi-studio work buildings.
Mugger: "(Flops as his knees grew weak) Just... Okay... that's it. I'm moving out of this city. Maybe New Mexico, as it's the last place I'd expect to hear something like this happening."
Boyfriend: "(Speaks up for the first time) I'm going with you!"
Girlfriend: "What youz mean!?"
Boyfriend: "I'm tired of this city. I'm tired of either constantly getting robbed, almost getting killed, or possibly being turned into some zombie-like minion. I'm tired of all this, and I'm leaving."
Girlfriend: "What? But you said you'd help me when you got together with me."
Boyfriend: "Yeah, at first, but I've been wanting to leave for a solid year now, but every time I try, you manage to somehow freeze my bank accounts except for when you use them. Or you make it to where the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, or the government watch me as I try to leave. So, SCREW you, Bethanny, and I hope the next guy you manage to trick treats you as bad as you've treated me!"
The mugger and the ex-boyfriend link arms and start jogging away as the ex-girlfriend just can't understand what just happened to her and huffs and puffs as she stomps her feet before walking away, probably back to her apartment or maybe to one of the other guys she has on call.
For the two weird fighters, however, the night has just started as the white soldier man slingshots himself right into the demonic symbiote woman as they crash through buildings and into the office of one of the many F.E.A.S.T. shelters.
The pair rumble and tumble around the place, breaking the bookcase, table, chair, vending machine, and sofa that were inside.
As the demonic symbiote woman breaks free from the white soldier's grasp and kicks him as far away as she possibly could, which was right through multiple walls, he crashes right through the front doors, breaking one and destroying the other.
White Soldier: "I am sick and tired of this. STOP FIGHTING ME AND LET ME HELP!"
The white soldier charges through the building and tackles the demonic symbiote woman as both of them go through another hole in the wall they make as they start falling down the descending buildings and keep falling till they land in front of some cargo holds at the docks.
The white soldier man presses his neck as it opens and reveals Jake with long, rugged hair that goes all the way down to his waist, and the brief flash of lightning reveals he has scars all across his face and an eyepatch where Nick Fury does.
Jake?: "Please... I just... I just want to help."
The demonic symbiote woman shrieks as three more appear beside her: one with bits of purple, one mostly red, and the final one clad mostly in black with some bits of white.
Jake?: "(Slowly backs away as he pukes and then resigns himself to fate) Screw it. You take over; I've tried my best."
Jake? Starts moving sporadically, almost like he's possessed, as his hair is quickly cut along with his eyepatch, revealing a pure white eye as the sword he made earlier starts glowing with sparkling white electric light.
Ekaj?: "Sorry ladies. But I don't have enough love nor memories to hold back like Jake has."
His spider arms burst from his back as they connect and move to his lower abdomen, forming some makeshift spiked arms that have white vines coiling around them to increase their size and pointed heads, turning them into mini spears.
The group of demonic symbiote ladies charges at Ekaj? With a twisted smile, he runs at them and gets ready to attack them. Only for the crashing sound of thunder and the thump of his little sister waking Ekaj or Jake up from this nightmare/dream they were having.
Looking around the room in a panic, the man feels his body soaked in sweat from head to toe. Grabbing the remote next to his bed, he turns off the action movie that was playing and turns over to his sister and sees her shivering but obviously not from the cold.
Reaching over the man, most likely Jake, gently strokes his sister's head and back as he puts her mind at ease and looks deep in thought for a moment as he seems to weigh the pros and the cons over something until eventually he makes up his mind.
Jake/Ekaj: "Tomorrow... tomorrow I need to meet up with Strange."
