Iron Man Accused!
Tony Stark: "Happy birthday, Jarvis."
Jarvis: "Thank you, sir. But may I remind you that as I am artificial, I do not have a day of birth?"
Tony Stark: "(Presses a few buttons on his computer, giving the digital Jarvis a birthday cake and party room) And I've told you every year that as your creator, I say you have a birthday, and it's time to celebrate."
Jarvis: "Very well, sir" (blows out the digital cake), "and may I wish you a good day, sir?"
Tony Stark makes himself a cocktail veggie smoothie along with opening a tiny box that held a single red velvet cupcake and takes a bite out of it as he picks up the last photo of the real human Jarvis before disaster struck him and Jarvis on the day the old Tony died, and Iron Man was born.
Holding up his veggie smoothie cocktail to cheers with no one, he chugs it down and then finishes off his red velvet cupcake and walks through his door leading to the living room as his door swings around the place before stopping in front of a piano.
The second he steps out of his doorframe, the walls start moving as the opening moves back to the top right of the wall as Steve Rogers, Hulk, Spiderwoman, Thor, and Falcon all stand near the giant white sofa that had a little pit in the middle so everyone (including Hulk) could have some legroom.
Steve Rogers: "Tony, we need to talk."
Tony Stark: "Yes (claps hands together), I know you want to talk about the purple sludge thing that took over me and my armor, but don't worry, I'm working on that and making sure nothing like that ever happens again."
Meanwhile, in Iron Man's room, the purple symbiote is stuck inside a giant glass sphere that is held in place by some strange device that seems to be recording everything the symbiote does as it jiggles and swirls in place, as it has nothing better to do.
Hulk: "Bruce N Bird found thing to hurt Hulk. Hulk not pleased. Hulk thought we friends."
Tony Stark: "Alright, big guy, I understand that you're hurt, but" (puts hands together like he's about to pray) we've had to fight against you or something like you, so in case something like that happens again, I've been working on making a contingency in case we need it."
Steve Rogers: "(Stands up right in front of Tony) Then what about the rest of us? (Angrily pushes a folder into Tony's chest) We found these, and after Bruce translated all your chaotic notes, we found out that you were building something to take all of us down."
Spider-Woman: "(Slowly lowers herself down in between Tony and Steve) Even me."
Steve Rogers: "(Looks at Spider-Woman with pity, then turns to Tony with anger and disgust) Yes... all of us."
Tony Stark: "Yeah... and (places his empty cup on the coffee table)?"
Everyone is shocked by just how nonchalant Tony was about everything as he snapped his finger, and a robot with one wheel and a tray rolled next to him with an entire tray of vegetable smoothies.
Tony Stark: "We fight many different things every day (snaps his fingers), like that Leader guy that has a weird obsession with Hulk, or what about those green goblin-looking aliens the Fantastic Four guys accidentally allowed to invade Manhattan, where we couldn't trust anyone? So, EXCUSE ME for trying to make sure that we're ready in case we need it, and these files (grabs the file that had fallen on the floor since he didn't try to grab it, and once he picked it up, he threw it into the pit like it was nothing) are just how each and every single one of us, including our enemies, fights."
Steve Rogers: "Calm down, Tony, we're not suggesting anything."
Hulk: "We not!? Hulk thought this introvention."
Steve Rogers: "No, it isn't, big guy; we're all just worried that information like this, along with your machines, could eventually cause problems like some of your other gadgets."
Tony Stark: "Oh, come ON! How was I supposed to know that Otto guy was mentally unstable when he began working with me on building the Arc Solaris project?"
The Arc Solaris project was something that Tony had spent millions, possibly even a billion dollars on, and the goal of the project was to create a heroic statue of himself as Iron Man as the first step towards creating infinite free energy for all the people of the world.
But sadly, the helper, Otto, wasn't the most stable man, as the device used to make the Solar Arc needed the arms to fix and put everything in place since Otto's arms could trivialize the amount of time needed for the project.
Tony Stark: "How was I supposed to know he was going to turn the Solar Arc into a giant bomb, as he was willing to do anything if it meant taking out Norman or at least destroying his image?"
Steve Rogers: "Bruce and I told you that he didn't look mentally stable!"
Tony just rolls his eyes as he gently places the last empty mug of his juice, as he's been chugging them in between his speeches, as he needed them to help keep him alive and also because he just really likes smoothies.
Tony Stark: "And so am I. If I stopped funding anyone that was mentally unhinged, then I would have lost all my money years ago."
Tony stood in the center of the room as he twisted the bracelets on his wrists as they formed his gauntlets, which he used to show everyone all the records he had on every battle he's ever been associated with and how everyone fought.
Tony Stark: "Everything you see here is how I'm able to come up with all the tactics that allow us to win the day."
Steve Rogers: "You don't need something like that (grabs his shield from its holster on his back and places it on his arm) all you need is trust, knowledge, and good ol' fashioned instinct."
Tony Stark: "Yeah, great. The thing is, why would I do that when I can instead let something do that for me while I take the time it would have taken me otherwise to spend time with people I care for or make something that could help the world or make another suit of armor?"
Falcon: "While I do agree with Cap, I also believe that technology can greatly help when needed."
Tony and Steve just roll their eyes as they walk away from each other as Falcon sighs before turning towards Spider-Woman and gives her a wink, but Spider-Woman wasn't paying attention, as, like Tony, she was too busy figuring out ways to improve her gadgets and webs.
Hulk walks around the corner and turns back into Bruce Banner, who was wearing some purple pants that became shorts on Hulk along with a sleeveless lab coat since Bruce was in fact a doctor and felt proud of his degree... even if it caused many problems later on.
Dr. Banner: "Look, neither I nor the Hulk like having information like this that anyone can access."
Tony Stark: "(Dramatically turns around) Anyone!? What kind of a fool do you take me for? Every single one of these data entries is locked behind a twenty-four-verse cipher that uses one word from everything in its records that gets changed every five seconds. The only person that can access them is Jarvis, and he wouldn't pull them up without my asking, right?"
Jarvis: "(Appears in the middle of everyone thanks to the many projectors all around Avengers Mansion) Quite right, sir. And must I say that I'd never think of doing anything to anyone that is one of young Master Stark's friends?"
Tony Stark blushes as he faces away and gets rid of all the battle analytics he has collected over the years, and everyone just accepts for the moment, at least, that Tony keeps a record of every battle any of them ever take place in and loses just a bit of trust in him, with the exception being Falcon and Spider-Woman, since both of them understood the need for it.
As for Bruce and Hulk, however, neither of them cares for it either because Hulk has too many problems with the military tracking him based on anything he's ever done in life, and Bruce just doesn't want to cause any unnecessary conflict for Hulk.
Not wanting to deal with his team's crap anymore, Stark heads towards his lab, aka Iron Man's room, while Steve just leaves and heads towards whatever game was currently playing, as it was one of the few things in life that brought any semblance of normality to the man who's lost years of his life.
Tony gets to work on creating an armor that uses the purple symbiote as a basis for his new armor that would be made of nanites instead of the techno-organic nanites that made up the purple symbiote.
Spider-Woman leaves the mansion from a garage door opener for anyone that could fly so they don't destroy the roof like Thor did after partying a bit too hard one night.
Since Thor didn't really know much of anything of whatever Tony and Steve were discussing, he's basically a grandfather when it comes to anything beyond the 90's or even 80's technology, as that was his limit on what he knew how to work.
As Spider-Woman swings through the city, she watches Jacke's family. While she doesn't agree with how her former friend is doing things, she still cares about them and just wants to make sure they're all safe from anything that might happen, as she already knows the trauma Jake went through as a kid. If anything were to happen to his family, Spider-Woman is honestly afraid of how he'd react or what he might do if he were to ever find whoever took his family from him.
All Avengers: "(Sigh) What are we even doing?"
