The Amazing White-Spider

*Warning this is going to get very dark in the later half so, you have been warned.

As the crowds cheer on in the stranger's name, Jake wonders just what the heck happened, as this is the first time he's seen anyone in this sort of grand mass since this whole Symbiote War had started. Even stranger was the fact that Spider-Woman was on her knees gasping for air.

Jake: "(Extends his hand gently towards Spider-Woman) Hey, can you stand? Do you need any help?"

Jake assumed Spider-Woman was going to take his hand and thank him as she stood up; however, what she did instead was slap his hand away as she began swinging through the city on her own, and the last thing Jake saw of her was the tiny bit of white and black that seemed to be leaking off her rear.

Jake: "(Wipes his hand that got slapped by Spider-Woman on his jacket) What the heck was up with her?"

MEANwhile far off in the distance of the city, Spider-Woman crash-landed onto her usual spot to go when she just wanted to think and be left alone, as she's rarely, if ever, seen anyone fly a drone anywhere near the place, which made it perfect for the time when she needed to demask and contemplate.

Penny: "(Sighs) Just why the heck did I have to do that! (Starts walking back and forth on the side of the skyscraper) I know he wasn't at fault but (rubs her neck) I... it was just to fresh of an experience. I know I have to say I'm sorry, but how am I going to do that without letting him know who I really am?"

As Penny laminates and thinks on what she should have done and deeply regrets what she did, she begins drawing a little heart with her new web abilities that seemed to have all gone back to normal but even stronger than they were before.

Back to Jake, however, he was running away from all the people that he had somehow saved by not getting consumed by the Mr. Joey character and quite possibly ate him instead, like he had done with the green symbiote Hulk-like creature.

Jake: "Who the heck knew having fans would mean dealing with crazy people who tried to freaking rip my jacket apart just to get a piece? I mean (throws his white trench coat to the side and gets a red jacket similar to the one he usually wears from a nearby shop), what the heck was up with them?"

While Jake was inside the store, he heard something clattering from around the corner, and when he went to investigate, he felt something sudden, hard, and sharp hit the back of his head.

Jake: "OW! What the! Who the!"

Jake suddenly turns around and manages only to see red and yellow before he goes down as he gets hit with the same thing as before, but somehow all around his head to the point it'd probably even knock out Captain America or Hulk.

As Jake felt himself getting dragged away by someone or something, he got a few glimpses of what was happening before either passing out himself or with the help of what finally appeared to be a very dented cast iron skillet.

Ekaj: "(Muffled yet still clear enough as he's speaking through the mind) Man, do we get kidnapped way too often!"

Jake just mumbles something through the sack or whatever that was over his head and gets hit over the head one more time, with Ekaj remarking that something began leaking, and it apparently wasn't good, given how Jake heard him scream seconds before blacking out.

Eventually however Jake finally woke up with the people who captured him letting him stay awake this time as bright lights suddenly turned on as a tiny tray of a steak knife, butter knife, and a pair of normal scissors rolls next to him.

Jake: "Okay, you all have watched too many action movies! Now (shakes in his chair), let me out!"

A tiny dessert tray cart rolls in front of Jake as a piece of tape and string fling the laptop open revealing a black and green screen as something seems to be taking their time before they eventually begin typing.

???: "(Distorted computer voice) WHY? WHAT WILL YOU DO ONCE YOU'RE RELEASED!?"

Jake: "Well, I'll try and find other people since that's all I can do. Like maybe finding Aunt May, or Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy? I mean, I know they're probably in the safe house given how their names were in the register, but I'd still like to know if they're okay."

??? COMPUTER: "(Distorted computer voice) []____ WHAT IF THEY AREN'T SAFE? WHAT WILL YOU DO THEN?"

Jake: "Try to save them, duh? I mean, what else would I do? It's not like this is the first time New York's been forced into a war like this."

The computer goes silent as the lights also go off, revealing that it was all Gwen Stacy and MJ who were behind it all, quite literally, as they were both carrying at least one of the cast iron skillets while Gwen was in front of another computer as MJ was behind all the props.

MJ: "Sorry about that, but given how we almost got taken by some black and grey-looking creatures, we weren't going to try and get taken by someone using your voice again."

Jake: "(Breaks from his restraints like they were nothing as Gwen just got behind him) Don't worry about it. I mean, I've seen my fair share of strange things, like a creature that looked like Hulk or some purple beast fused with a car. But why my voice? I mean, you've both had boyfriends in the past, and I think, if I remember correctly, you both said you had boyfriends waiting for you?"

Gwen and MJ: "Uh..."

Quick cut to mere minutes before the Symbiote Wars started, where both MJ and Gwen Stacy were walking around a shop trying to find their online dates only to find out that they were in fact matched up with one another after a long time that resulted in both of them showing their phones to the other.

Past MJ: "Let us never speak of this."

Gwen Stacy: "Agreed."

Cut back to present day, where both girls were trying their best to change the topic, which doesn't really work, but seeing just how much they struggle to try and make an excuse caused Jake to let it go anyway.

The second Jake stands up, however, he immediately falls into MJ's arms, among other things, causing her to shove Jake away from her, which just so happened to be into Gwen's "arms" before Jake fell onto the floor as Gwen was too shocked to do anything else.

Ekaj: "Damn, from prisoner to Mr. Lucky. Are you sure our last name isn't Parker?"

Jake groans as he stands back up with both girls apologizing to him as they help him back up and up the stairs onto the sofa that made Jake realize their hideout was MJ's old family home since this sofa was literally nailed, drilled, and cemented into place by Jake and the other boys as a prank when they were little.

Don't ask where or how they managed to do this, or even why they thought it was a good idea, since to this day none of them fully remember how it came to be other than they were the ones to do so and have sworn to secrecy since then.

MJ: "Here rest on the only thing no one's been able to move in this house, no matter how hard everyone's tried."

Jake adverted his eyes as best he could to try and not look suspicious as Gwen let him lay on her lap as Jake wondered what Flash and Eddy would have to say about this since he thought she was dating at least one of them along with Felica but found that to be false when they were partnered up.

MJ, meanwhile, was seeming to fetch something from the kitchen as Gwen patched up his head as best she could, as that was probably the cause of most of his problems with walking, or at least that's what they probably thought.

Ekaj: "If they only knew you just needed to get some meat in your belly and you'd get back all the blood you lost, tsk tsk, too bad they can't hear me or I'd get to see you get slapped around like its a novela."

Jake just grunts at his other half who shrunk down into a kid version of Jake as he forms a paper showing the date of the last time he was here.

Ekaj: "If you want to visit your friends, then do so! (Throws the paper on the chair as it turns into white smoke while Ekaj grows bigger.) I mean, your sister's fine with not seeing you for a few more hours, right?"

Jake suddenly jolts up as he accidentally hits both Gwen and MJ in the face with his own as he stumbles off the couch and falls onto the floor as he tries to crawl his way to the door.

MJ: "(Holds her nose and talks a little annoyed) What's wrong!?"

Jake: "MY SISTER! SHE NEEDS ME!"

Jake screams from the top of his lungs as he begins digging his nails in the floor as he tries to move even an inch but cannot as Ekaj was holding him down with barley any effort on his part as he just placed a single foot on his back.

Ekaj: "When I mentioned her, I meant you could leave her be. You know, one of the reasons she can't grow and get over it is because—"

Jake: "(In his head) SHUT UP! YOU DON'T KNOW!"

Ekaj: "YOU FORGET! I AM YOU! I know everything you feel, and you know that you being around your sister every day of every hour isn't any better for her than if you were to just suddenly vanish! Haley needs some space, and so do you."

As Jake was conversing with himself and crying his eyes out in fear of his sister more than even his own parents MJ and Stacy went around him and tried their best to comfort or cheer him up as best they could even if Jake wasn't able to hear a single word.

Instead, Jake just cried his heart out for the first time in a long while; he let go of all the things that he was keeping so far deep hidden inside him that the only way they could even reach the surface was from the heavy push Ekaj gave them.

And from that came all sorts of things, like his hatred for himself for possibly taking the lives of some poor innocent people that might have just been trying to help, how disgusted he felt for killing even more people in more recent years, and the horrid feeling that always followed of euphoria whenever he took the life of scum.

Of course he kept the way and how he did such a thing along with the feelings he had for them, Felicia and Penny, as he didn't want to lose the few friends he had in life that didn't constantly leave the city whenever things got too difficult for them.

As these thoughts come through, Ekaj tries to shove the even deeper emotions from Jake, but they don't move an inch, which causes Ekaj to delve deeper into Jake's subconscious than he's ever been before.

Going inside, Ekaj sees the monster form they took, which was standing near the box. Ekaj had no problem going inside as he walked right through the giant ornate cage and walked right inside, which housed a single picture frame of Jake, Trixie, and Spud all hanging out in their hideout.

Looking behind the photo Ekaj saw a note was attached to it with the only thing written inside it was "WHY?"

It seemed to Ekaj that Jake had many troubles when it came to his best friends, including some feelings that he left forgotten for so long that they have since become too hard to move on from, which Ekaj just left alone for now as it wasn't something evil.

Ekaj just wanted Jake to accept every part of Ekaj, which was everything Jake tried to hide or ignore from himself, and just wanted him to feel better in Ekaj's own twisted sort of way, as it was created from chemicals but still based itself on Jake's cracked but still golden heart.

Back outside Jake's body, MJ and Gwen were trying their best to help a friend in desperate need of something; what he needed, they had no idea, as they could barely hear anything he was saying through his tears.

But whatever it was seemed important enough for his tears to flow harder than either of them had ever seen come from him before making them even more worried for their friend even if Gwen was a more recent addition to his friend group.

That wasn't going to stop her from trying to help Jake, however, as she had a heart of gold most pure that it'd make a greedy king attempt theft just so they could have it.

Eventually Jake finally stopped crying, but it wasn't for some good reason, as he cried so much that he quite literally passed out from doing so. This, of course, made the girls scurry with worry until they realized he was just asleep and thankfully not dead.

MJ: "I swear for someone who tries so hard to be cool to cry like nigari falls. (Sighs)"

Gwen: "Is it a bad thing?"

MJ: "No, quite the opposite; it makes me worry and wonder just what the heck was going through this idiot's head to never rely on any of us when he constantly asks us to do so with him."
