Chapter 130: A Goddess’s Annoyance
Unable to help it, I pressed my bum on his groin before swaying my hips on him, triggering his hands to lock on my waist.
“Hm… Didn’t you say you wanted to work my frustrations out?” I smirked, eyeing him down like a candy to be eaten.
It was fun to dry hump him like this, though his expression made me want to do much more. My action caused a soft sigh to come from his lips, while Eli wrapped himself around my waist as his tail went into my shirt before lifting it somewhat for his other halves’ viewing pleasure.
“Hah, you’re just trying to avoid it. Love, you can’t do that.” He breathed, without pulling away from me.
My eyes slightly twitched, as what he wished for me to do wasn’t something I was keen on doing. After all, once the lid was off, it was hard to put back on.
“Like you know everything.” I leaned into him before brushing my lips against him, as he grasped the back of my head, ensuring the moment would go deeper than I had intended it to be.
A heartbeat later, I was against the bed with him snuggling between my legs as his tongue played with mine. Unable to help it, and wishing to feel more of him, I tugged down his pants while his lips remained locked on mine, yet before we could get any further, a knock came from the door. Instinctively, Loki pulled away from me to gaze at it as my lips burned with his heat.
Argh… Of course…
“Fuck,” A curse left his lips before his gaze found me again, while Eli slid under the covers.
It was almost as if he was asking me for permission to stay, triggering a smile to creep up on me.
“Screw whoever is at the door and kiss me,” I ordered, as his reaction was immediate.
The sensation of his warm lips on mine was all the comfort I needed, while his tongue left a fiery blaze within me, wishing to erupt into something more. However, before we could get into it, his phone rang, prompting him to pull away again as a whine left me.
Picking up the phone from the table, his eyes narrowed, “Oh, it’s Thea.”
“What of it? Does Rem want us or something? There are still two hours left.” I growled, wrapping my arms around his neck, causing my vampire to chuckle.
“Well, she says she found how to hide Eli from everyone and that she’s outside the door.” He informed, getting out of bed, allowing me to see his visible tent on his pants—one I could easily fix if he weren’t going to open the door.
Sadly, I needed to hold that desire, as his sister wasn’t of age yet.
“So, no sexy time? Got it.” I grumbled, gazing at him, trying to calm myself.
“Oh, don’t worry, sweets. I promise I’ll make you feel the stars tonight.” He smirked as I rolled my eyes and turned to the side to see Eli coming back to me.
“Hmph, I think you mean I’ll do that to you.” I huffed, reaching towards the cuddly snake.
“If you say so, love. I don’t mind it either way.” He breathed, standing by the door for a moment, leaving me unable to help myself from poking him some more.
“Hm? Having a hard time?” I asked, leaning against the footboard of the bed.
“Oh, shut it.” He grumbled, shooting a glare at me, prompting me to giggle as his cheeks were rosy.
Watching me go at it, a small, weak chuckle left his lips, too, as he pressed his forehead onto the door.
“I love you.” He breathed, prompting me to stop in my cackling, feeling my heart flutter because of what had left his mouth.
“I do too,” I mumbled, feeling tamed by this vampire who held my entire being in his hands.
When he opened the door, I allowed myself to slide onto the bed more comfortably, watching Thea stand there, tapping her foot on the floor as her eyes twitched.
“Geez, I could’ve been a granny by the time you opened the door!” She grumbled, holding a box in her hands.
Stepping into the room, she placed it on the table nearby, puffing her cheeks at her brother, who shrugged.
“I doubt you would appear any different.” He sighed, closing the door as she gasped, covering her mouth.
“Oi! Oi! That was disrespectful! I’m a wonderful woman!” She argued, eyes shimmering lightly.
Loki chuckled, shaking his head, for in his eyes she would no doubt be his baby sister, no matter the age.
“Nah, you are a child at best,” I commented from the bed.
Eli was on me, allowing me to fiddle with his wings, which had become a calming mechanism for me.
“Hey! I’m seventeen, going to be eighteen eventually!” Thea snapped, pointing at me.
“Like I said, a child.” I reiterated, rolling my eyes.
In response, Thea crossed her arms as her eye twitched. “Oi… You two are a menace. Maybe I should leave with my idea! See how Ma will react to Eli!”
However, when she went for the box she came with, Loki grabbed onto her arm.
“Hey, we’re sorry. Tell us your idea.” He breathed, triggering her to puck her lips much like a fish.
“Hmph! You better be!” She huffed.
“Well, I’m not. You treat me like I’m a stuffed doll!” I sat up with Eli in my hands.
“You mean like you’re treating Eli?” My vampire asked, raising his eyebrows at me.
“Well… No! That’s different!” I gazed down at the little snake who tilted his head at me.
Hah… I never…
“You like me touching you, right?” I mumbled.
His little tongue flickered once before he spoke.
“I love it.” He chuckled, feeling a spark light within me as I hugged him tightly.
It felt like my eyes sparkled before I hugged him again.
“See, I only hate it when someone else other than...” I trailed off, noticing I almost slipped. “Wait, no… It’s everyone without exception.”
Loki rolled his eyes and shook his head as Thea smirked.
“Oh, gosh, I know what she means… but she is too cute!” Thea beamed, gazing at her brother.
“Well, just count yourself lucky the cute girl can’t use her powers.” He huffed at his sister.
Huh? Is that a tone of jealousy?
“The girl is here, and she can hear you both,” I grumbled, pouting somewhat.
“Okay, so moving on to the actual problem,” Thea opened the box, pulling out a black container. “We’ll color Eli’s scales using this special paint made for Lycans when they shift!” She began handing the container to Loki.
Though it was not long before she pulled out another thing, as this time it seemed like eye covers or something like that.
“And we’ll use these contacts with him too!” She announced, standing proudly.
Instinctively, I pulled Eli to my chest. “That won’t hurt him, right?” I huffed.
Thea frowned at me and shook her head. “He’s immortal in this realm. Nothing can hurt him.”
“Immortal to you mortals,” I grumbled, knowing full well that something like me could hurt him and turn him into something else entirely.
“Damn it, look, it won’t hurt him. I asked the elves to make it customized for my pet snake, which can grow to the size of a house! I’ll even paint him with this soft brush!” She pointed out, holding it in her hand.
It seemed fluffy enough, yet my beloved noticed its hesitance.
“It’ll be fine, love. I’ll be good as new after.” He reassured me.
Releasing a sigh, I let the snake go as Thea grabbed him, while Loki sat next to me, allowing me to lean on him.
If anything happens to any part of you, I think I would lose it.
Though the sound of Loki’s beating heart was soothing to me, as he let me smother myself in his chest, it helped that he was holding me by my waist, too.
“You aren’t that protective of me.” Loki sighed, clasping onto me tighter.
“He is you,” I grumbled, feeling warm in his arms.
“Well, Eli, you’ll have to air dry, but Oz can help with that when he is back,” Thea said, sitting on the floor with the body paint and brush, while painting Eli’s beautiful white scales black again.
Hah… To be honest, I don’t think any of this will work.
“He should be back soon,” Loki informed, flipping through his phone.
“This paint is very resilient, but don’t get it wet, or it will probably come off,” Thea warned the little familiar, who tilted his head.
“When did you come up with this? I mean, you rushed out without saying a word.” Loki asked, allowing me to slide him off and onto the bed.
There I rolled onto my back while keeping my eyes on the little wolf in the room.
Hm…
“Well, this shop is the one that makes the eye patches that shift with me, and I remembered it also had other stuff like it. We’re just lucky it wasn’t destroyed, since there aren’t a lot of Lycans here in Night City. Our other option would’ve been Silverant, but that isn’t really viable.” Thea answered, shifting her eyes to her brother briefly before going back to smothering the scales with the tint.
It was surprising how well the dye was sticking to his smooth scales. Lycans needed special dyes to keep them while shifting, which was why passersby hounded Leo, whose rare coat had two natural colors. The cute polka-dot look suits the young pup, who was only two years older than Loki and me.
“They also make custom paint for us and lenses. Though they looked at me weirdly when I asked for the lenses.” She giggled.
The way these two siblings interacted intrigued me. After all, he had taken her eye when they were younger, and there was no hostility between the two.
“You two have a good relationship.” I fished for information.
“Huh? Of course, we do. We may not be related by blood, but we’re siblings no matter what.” She assured me.
“That’s so odd, even after he took your eye, you seem close.” I bluntly pointed out.
The reaction from my vampire was instantaneous as he grabbed me by my hand, pulling me towards him, which lifted me off the bed, allowing me to meet with his fiery gaze, alerting me that I had hit a sore spot for him.
“Vivian!” He growled, triggering me to narrow my eyes at him.
Hah… You haven’t used my full name in forever.
Unfortunate for this vampire, I did not scare easily, especially when I needed to know everything about my link for eternity.
If anyone is holding unknowns, it’ll be me. Unfair, I know, but I don’t care. All the cards will be mine to play for the living god, aiming for your head.
