Yang Wei, who was watching from the sidelines, saw an opportunity to curry favor with Du Jinlong. He jumped out decisively, pointed at Cheng Yuan, and shouted,
"Let go of Brother Long right now! His uncle is the vice-principal of our Dongshan Medical University!!"
Du Jinlong's spirits soared, and he bellowed,
"Did you hear that, punk? Let me go right now! If you don't, I'll have my uncle expel you!"
In Du Jinlong's mind, the thing students feared most was expulsion.
Unfortunately for him, Cheng Yuan had been expelled before and wasn't even a student at the medical university. Du Jinlong's threats were completely useless against him.
Cheng Yuan looked at Du Jinlong coldly. "I don't care if your uncle is just a vice-principal. Even if he were the King of Heaven, you still can't harass Qianqian! I'm warning you: from this day forward, never show your face to Qianqian again. If you do, I'll beat you every single time I see you!"
Du Jinlong was furious! He struggled frantically, trying to break free from Cheng Yuan's control, but Cheng Yuan's foot was as heavy as a mountain!
It was better when he didn't struggle. The more he fought, the harder Cheng Yuan pressed down!
Du Jinlong was even struggling to breathe!
"My—my ribs are about to break! I can't breathe! Quick, let go!"
"I can let you go, but only if you swear that from this day forward, you'll stop harassing Qianqian and never appear in front of her again!"
Du Jinlong had finally found a girl as pure and ethereal as Liu Qian; he certainly wasn't going to give her up so easily.
"I'd rather die than give in to you! Yang Wei! What are you gawking at? Call security, now!"
Yang Wei was as sly as they come. He had stayed far away when the underlings surrounded Cheng Yuan, and the moment Du Jinlong was pinned to the ground, he had already called the security office.
"Brother Long, I already called the security office! Captain Sun is on his way!"
Following Yang Wei's pointed finger, Du Jinlong saw Captain Sun rushing over menacingly with a dozen or so security guards!
Du Jinlong's spirits lifted again as he roared, "Punk, let me go now! Or I'll have Captain Sun destroy you! He used to be a martial arts instructor in his youth!"

Cheng Yuan turned his head and looked at Sun Zhonghua coldly. "You haven't even investigated what happened. Are you really going to jump in without distinguishing right from wrong?"
Sun Zhonghua stared back at Cheng Yuan coldly. "I saw with my own two eyes that you stomped on Young Master Long until he coughed up blood. The facts are crystal clear! Let him go now and come with us to be punished!"
Cheng Yuan laughed. "Where were you security guards when this punk was harassing my sister? Now that I've subdued the bully, you all decide to pop up? Are you security guards or just a pack of lapdogs?"

Sun Zhonghua's expression darkened.
"Punk, your biggest mistake was insulting a Martial Artist! Eat this!"

Sun Zhonghua swung his rubber baton with all his might, bringing it down viciously on Cheng Yuan's head.
Du Jinlong, Yang Wei, and the others watched with feverish excitement. 'This idiot actually provoked Captain Sun. He's got a death wish!'

But a second later, the smiles on their faces froze.

'Or someone close to the Grandmaster level!'
'Either way, he's not someone I can afford to offend!'
Sun Zhonghua struggled to his feet and began to kowtow forcefully.

Soon, Sun Zhonghua's forehead was bleeding from the impact.

Cheng Yuan rolled his eyes, speechless. The security captain's perspective was so limited; it was pointless to try and explain.
Cheng Yuan couldn't be bothered to explain. He waved a dismissive hand. "Get this scum out of here immediately! They're an eyesore."
"Yes, sir!"
Sun Zhonghua didn't dare disobey. He obediently ordered his guards to drag Du Jinlong and all his lackeys away.
Yang Wei tried to shrink back, hoping to slip away in the confusion.
But Cheng Yuan had eyes like a hawk. How could he let him get away so easily?
"Hey, you! Get over here! Yeah, you, with the glasses."
Yang Wei nearly wet himself. He walked over, trembling, and said with a fawning expression, "B-Boss, I... I never laid a hand on you! I was just watching from the sidelines."
"Just watching? You think I'm deaf? You were the one who called security, weren't you? And if I recall correctly, you were following us earlier. Were you confirming our identities? Did you lead Du Jinlong to us?"
"No! I really didn't! I was just watching!"
Yang Wei, of course, didn't dare to admit it and shook his head frantically.
