Chapter 546 The Real Geometry
The atmosphere on the platform immediately turned serious.
Everyone looked at Tony with concern.
Yet, Tony just exhaled nonchalantly.
"Relax, Sorcerer Supreme. I don’t need those shiny little magic cookies. I’ve already brought everything I need to win with me."
"Click."
The faceplate closed, and Iron Man’s eyes lit up with a cold, bright White light.
He didn’t waste any more words, turned, and dove headfirst into the lit-up Portal.
"Clang—clang—clang—clang!"
Grandmaster’s frenzied commentary voice rang out once again.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Villains and hussies! Welcome to the most adrenaline-pumping third duel!"
"In this round, we will witness a peak collision of steel and iron!"
"First to enter, the technological miracle from that blue planet, who claims to be the peak of mortal wisdom—Iron Man, Tony Stark!"
On the big screen, Tony slammed his fist into the ground as he landed in the arena with a boom, his perfect streamlined body emitting faint glimmers.
The floating cannons on his back slowly unfolded like a pair of Angel wings.
The ultimate combination of technology and mysterious magic... Mark-78: Beauty Under the Moon! A grand arrival!
It drew gasps of amazement from the entire audience.
"And his opponent is the ruthless killing machine born from the dark abyss, bathed in Hellfire—the Iron Judge!"
Following Grandmaster’s introduction, on the other side of the arena, a heavy armor over two meters tall, colored in silver and black, descended from the sky.
The ground slightly collapsed under the heavy armor, and wisps of Fire gushed out from the gaps in the armor.
Then, the audience’s votes were locked in, and the arena’s space began a new round of construction.
Grandmaster excitedly announced the brand-new arena: "Ladies! Gentlemen! The ultimate stage for the third round is—Refractive Prism · Crystal Maze!"
"Attention, contestants!"
"The mechanic here is very simple, yet very deadly: Absolute Reflection!"
"All energy beams will produce 100% lossless refraction when they hit these crystal walls! Before you fire, you’d better calculate your trajectory, hahahaha!"
The match countdown ended.
"Hey, faker..."
Tony habitually activated his snarky mode, attempting to mess with his opponent’s mentality.
But the Iron Judge opposite him clearly had no intention of wasting words with anyone.
Before Tony even finished speaking, the Iron Judge’s Hellfire had already surged from his palms.
"Damn it, how rude! You piece of trash!" Tony blurted out a curse he had learned while defending the Hong Kong Sanctum.
At the same time, the thrusters on his feet roared to full power, and he narrowly slid to the side.
The column of Hellfire grazed the edge of Mark-78 and slammed into a huge crystal pillar.
In an instant, just as Grandmaster had said, the fire column hit the smooth crystal surface without exploding or dispersing, instead refracting at a fixed angle.
"Whoosh!"
The refracted fire column grazed past Tony’s faceplate again, and the high temperature caused Jarvis to issue a warning.
"External temperature rising rapidly, sir. Please be careful to dodge the refracted trajectory."
Tony snorted, raised his palm, and gave a tug in the empty air.
He attempted to use his metal manipulation ability to directly strip the Hell armor off his opponent.
Creak—creak—
Under the influence of his ability, the armor on many of the Iron Judge’s joints did indeed produce a twisting sound.
"It’s working!" Tony’s spirits lifted.
However, before Tony could be happy for too long.
Endless Hellfire erupted from the Iron Judge’s entire body and attached itself to the armor plates.
It instantly severed the ability control Tony had released.
"Control ineffective?" Tony’s heart sank slightly. Since soft tactics wouldn’t work, he would have to use hard ones.
"Jarvis! Calculate the angle of every crystal facet! I want to see the most perfect light refraction matrix model of this maze within one minute!"
"Understood, sir. Scanning initiated... Number of crystal pillars: 1402, calculating facet geometric angles... Light path trajectory simulation starting."
Meanwhile.
Click! Click! Click!
Rows of exquisite floating cannons detached from his back compartment, as many as thirty-six of them.
Under Tony’s metal manipulation ability, they were like obedient flying swords, rapidly dispersing in the air and taking their positions.
"Refraction path established, sir. Ballistic deviation rate: 0.001%."
"Thanks, Jarvis. Let’s show people what true geometry is."
Tony looked coldly at the approaching hideous Judge and said confidently.
"Fire!"
99999—!!!
Thirty-six Moon God floating cannons roared at the same time! The long-accumulated pulse energy surged out!
But not a single one of these terrifying beams was aimed at the Iron Judge charging toward him.
Without exception, they all struck the smooth, mirror-like crystal walls around them.
Hum! Hum! Hum!
Dozens of pulse beams hit the crystals, refracted at planned angles, and then hit the second crystal, the third crystal...
In less than half a second, the entire Crystal Maze seemed to have been activated.
These energy beams, after countless lossless refractions, instantly wove into a light cage with no blind spots and nearly infinite ricochets!
The Iron Judge’s cold, advancing steps finally stopped.
Because it was trapped in the center of countless crisscrossing pulse beams, with nowhere to hide.
"Clang-clang-clang-clang-clang-clang—!"
The Iron Judge’s towering body was instantly bombarded frantically by countless pulse beams refracted from all directions.
After enduring who knows how many attacks, this violent, dark-black iron tower finally couldn’t hold on; its heavy body shook, and it fell to one knee.
On the staging platform, watching the Iron Judge suppressed by the sky full of light rain with no power to fight back, Thor excitedly waved his fist: "Haha! That bastard Stark really has some tricks! He turned the entire arena into his own weapon; that lump of iron is going to be shot into a sieve!"
Just when everyone thought Tony was about to win this round, Jarvis discovered something wrong.
"Sir, the energy radiation inside the opponent has not decayed. On the contrary, it is expanding rapidly."
On Mark-78’s detector interface, the Iron Judge’s radiation peak was already as high as a miniature star about to explode.
"This is not a defensive posture, sir. This is energy accumulation! Please execute evasion immediately!" Jarvis warned.
Tony did not hesitate and immediately retracted the floating cannons.
The thirty-six floating cannons immediately gathered around Tony and combined tightly, locking into place.
Like a huge metal cone, it protected him tightly inside.
The next second.
The Iron Judge, kneeling on one knee, clenched his fists and slammed them onto the ground with a boom.
