Chapter 76: Going Feral Mid-Thrust and Getting Paralyzed***
Gianna’s mouth worked over me with focused, wet heat, taking me deeper each time.
The sight of her between my legs, blue-tipped hair spilling across my thighs, red eyes glancing up, pushed every other thought out of my head.
Gianna’s first.
"Is it good?" she whispered, lips brushing the head as she spoke.
God, she was so good.
"Yes... Keep going."
She smirked, then sank until her nose pressed against my stomach, swallowing me to the base.
My hips jerked helplessly.
One hand tangled in her hair. The other fisted the sheets—the pressure built too fast. A blue system window flickered at the edge of my vision and vanished again before I could read it.
My grip tightened in her hair as I came hard, pulsing straight down her throat.
Gianna took all of it, swallowing around me until I was spent and oversensitive. She stayed there for a second longer, then slowly pulled off.
She stood up.
Her expression wasn’t satisfaction. It was shock, eyes wide, lips slightly parted, like she had tasted something she didn’t expect.
Shit.
I sat up, suddenly cold.
"What is it?"
Her face smoothed over too quickly.
"No. Nothing."
She wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand and gave me a small smile that didn’t reach her eyes.
"Come here."
I pulled her back onto the bed.
She let me. I rolled her under me, settled between her thighs, and pushed inside in one long thrust.
Gianna was still soaked from earlier. The slide was easy and deep.
This time there was space, real bed, real leverage, and I used it. My hips snapped forward harder, faster. The sound of skin meeting skin filled the room. Gianna’s hands gripped my shoulders, then slid down my back.
"Harder," she breathed.
I gave it to her. One hand braced beside her head; the other wrapped loosely around her throat, thumb resting against her pulse.
I didn’t squeeze yet, just held.
"You like that?"
"Yes. Yes—"
My eyes narrowed.
Something under my skin stirred, the same wrong pressure I had felt the night the system tried to erase my memories.
The hand on her throat tightened.
Stop.
No.
I can’t control myself.
Gianna’s expression changed.
"Rev— it hurts."
I heard her. Part of me even understood. But the grip did not loosen. It tightened further. Her mouth opened, trying to pull in air.
A thin sound escaped her.
My own mouth opened in answer, and the system text burned across my vision in clean, merciless lines.
Gianna’s body struggled hard. Her eyes flared with panic and instinct. She reached for the power she had trained since childhood, the clean, precise telekinesis that could lift a spoon or throw a grown Vanguard across a training mat.
Her will snapped outward, trying to wrench my frozen hand from her throat, trying to shove my entire body off her.
Nothing moved. The force hit an invisible wall and collapsed.
It was as if my skin, my bones, even the air around us had been locked outside her authority.
Her power, usually so obedient, simply refused to touch me.
[Core Absorption Activated]
[Target: Gianna Everheart]
[Compatibility: Primary Anchor]
[Initiating deep draw...]
[Progress: 0.2%]
The hunger rose like a black tide. Something came out of her mouth.
Mana?
No.
Life force.
Then everything stopped.
As if a switch was turned off.
Mid-thrust, mid-breath, mid-everything, my entire nervous system locked.
It was not pain exactly, more like every signal between brain and body had been severed at once.
My arms, my hips, my hands, even the muscles in my face froze in place.
Strength drained out of me so completely that my attributes might as well have dropped to zero. I collapsed forward, dead weight on top of her, still buried inside her, unable to move a single finger.
The bracelet was off. The monitoring patch was gone. Whatever Jenna had put in that tablet had waited until the exact moment my core tried to feed, then shut me down with absolute precision.
I couldn’t speak.
I couldn’t pull out.
I couldn’t even fall to the side.
Gianna’s hands flew to my wrist, trying to pry my frozen fingers from her throat.
When they would not move, she shoved at my chest, rolling us with a burst of Vanguard strength until I landed on my back.
She scrambled off me, coughing, one hand at her own neck, eyes wide with a mixture of fear and fury.
"Revien—?! What the hell?"
I stared up at the ceiling of her bedroom, naked, still hard, completely paralyzed.
Only my eyes and the shallow rise of my chest still worked. The system windows had vanished. The voice that had started to surface was gone, sealed behind whatever the blocker had done.
Gianna leaned over me, hair falling around both our faces. Her voice shook.
"What the fuck was that? You— your eyes went empty. You wouldn’t let go. Talk to me!"
I couldn’t answer.
She checked my pulse, then my pupils, then slapped my cheek lightly once, twice. Nothing.
Panic started to edge into her expression. She grabbed her phone from the floor, hesitated, and for a moment I saw her weigh calling Jenna against handling this herself.
In the end, she set the phone down and cupped my face with both hands.
"Okay. Okay, you’re breathing. You’re not dying. Whatever that was, it’s stopped."
Her thumb brushed my cheekbone. The earlier softness had been replaced by something tighter, more frightened.
"I’m going to get water. And a towel. And you’re going to stay exactly like this until I figure out whether I need to call my mother or a medic."
She stood, still naked, still marked by everything we had done, and walked toward the bathroom.
At the doorway, she looked back once.
"Don’t you dare disappear on me inside your own head," she said quietly.
"Not after all that."
Then she was gone.
I remained frozen on her bed, staring at the ceiling, the taste of her still in my mouth, the memory of her pulse under my tightening hand still vivid, and the cold certainty that Jenna’s "mild suppressant" had never been mild at all.
