My Succubus Harem System In The Reverse World

Chapter 69: Forcing the S-Rank Output Down Her Throat

Jenna returned to the apartment later than she had planned.

The data from Revien’s bracelet spike had forced her to remain at the guild longer than expected.

External researchers from two allied guilds were already reviewing the anomaly logs she had swallowed her pride to request.

Supports overloaded their cores with unfortunate regularity.

Seizures, blackouts, temporary instability- these were well-known risks.

But Revien wasn’t a normal support, and the pattern of his episodes refused to sit cleanly inside any existing model.

She opened the door quietly, expecting darkness and silence.

Instead, she found him on the sofa.

He was slumped sideways, one arm hanging off the edge, violet hair falling across his face.

The wall display played Sector 3’s commercial movie featuring Elias.

A small, involuntary smile touched Jenna’s mouth before she could stop it.

Even after everything, the sight of him sleeping in her space still landed strangely soft.

Then she noticed the tension in his jaw. The faint tremor in his fingers. The way his breathing hitched once, twice, as if something under the surface was still fighting.

Not peaceful at all.

Jenna crossed the room and crouched beside the sofa. Up close she could hear him mumbling, fragments too low to parse, the same flat tone she had caught once before in the dark.

The class again. The part of him that spoke when control slipped.

She slid one arm under his shoulders and the other under his knees, lifting him with the easy strength of an S-rank who had carried heavier burdens.

He was warmer than he should have been.

As she carried him toward the bedroom, she spoke quietly, more to herself than to him.

"I know I said miracles weren’t needed. But I’m glad you came to us."

Her voice stayed low.

"And I’m even more glad you’re considerate towards my daughter’s feelings. Most men in your position wouldn’t have been."

She lowered him onto the bed with care. The sheets accepted his weight. For a moment she simply stood there, looking down at the boy who had rewritten too many of her carefully maintained equations in only a handful of days.

She sat on the edge of the mattress.

The class was trying to eat his soul.

She could feel it in the uneven pulse of his mana, in the way the residual signatures refused to settle cleanly.

He needed research. He needed time. He needed control. She wanted him, wanted the power, the anomaly, the strange gravity he carried, but wanting him meant nothing if the thing inside him finished hollowing him out first.

Jenna leaned down and pulled him into a brief, protective embrace. Not desire or lust.

Simply the recognition that the young man in her arms was drowning in a power that had never been designed to leave its host intact.

Her hair fell forward. One button of her shirt had come loose during the day, and she had not bothered to fix it.

Before she could draw back, a hand shot up and locked around her wrist.

The grip was wrong, too strong, too precise, nothing like the careful restraint Revien usually showed.

He staggered upward in one abrupt motion.

The yellow eyes that met hers were open but empty of the person she had been speaking to only hours earlier.

He slammed her back against the headboard hard enough to knock the breath from her lungs and crushed his mouth over hers.

There was no seduction in it.

The kiss was raw, desperate only in the way a failing machine is desperate, his tongue moving at an uneven pace.

Mana surged down her throat in a forced redirection loop that made no attempt at gentleness.

He was dragging energy straight out of her core with the efficiency of someone who no longer cared about consent or consequence.

[Forced Transfer Detected]

[Output: Unregulated]

[Target Core Resistance: Engaged]

Jenna’s first instinct was to pull him closer.

She could control her own core. She could match the flow, expand it, even take him all the way under her authority and end the episode on her terms.

The knowledge sat ready in her body like a blade she had sharpened for years.

For one dangerous second she almost did it, almost opened fully and let the transfer become something mutual and final.

Then the colder reality arrived.

What if giving him that much only fed whatever was speaking through him?

Her fingers rose, glowing faintly with the signature of her true class.

Telepathy: S-rank, precise, rarely advertised. She pressed both palms to his temples and pushed, breaking the kiss.

Sleep.

The command should have dropped him in less than a heartbeat.

It always had before.

This time the resistance was thicker, as if something else was bracing against her from inside his skull.

She increased the pressure, threading the order deeper.

Revien’s eyes flickered.

For an instant the emptiness receded, and something that might have been him looked out.

His lips moved against her cheek, shaping words too quiet to catch. Then the strength left his body all at once. He collapsed forward, face turning into the open collar of her shirt, breath hot against her skin.

Silence returned to the room.

Jenna remained still, heart beating once, twice, harder than she preferred to admit. Her hair was half undone.

The second button of her shirt had given way during the struggle. She could still taste the edge of the forced transfer on her tongue.

A system window, visible only to her, resolved in the air beside the bed.

[Name: Jenna Everheart]

[Class: Telepathy (S-Rank)]

[Level: 149]

Her eyes widened at the sight.

She had been level 150 that morning. She was certain of the figure. She checked it with the same regularity others checked the time.

One full level was gone, cleanly removed, not burned or sealed, simply taken.

Her gaze dropped to the young man still slumped against her chest, violet hair spilled across her collarbone, the bracelet on his wrist glowing its usual obedient green as if nothing unusual had occurred.

Did he just...?
