Chapter 133: To the Death
"Kid, do you really want this to be a fight to the death with the Wu Family and my sect?!"
Sprawled on the ground, too weak to stand, Chen Wu glared viciously at Lin Feng and snarled.
"You talk too much."
With a cold cry, Lin Feng stabbed downward. He had already decided to finish off Chen Wu. His heart was raging with killing intent; Chen Wu was a powerful man, an extremely dangerous enemy that had to be eliminated.

The sharp tip of the dagger instantly sliced through Chen Wu's throat, and blood trickled down the blade.
Chen Wu clutched his throat, his mouth falling slightly open. His eyes were wide with disbelief. 'How could this be? Why would this young kid actually dare to kill me?'

Without the slightest hesitation, Lin Feng wrenched his dagger back and severed Chen Wu's arm. The hand dropped to the ground, fingers twitching a few times before finally going still as all life left him.

He wiped the blood from his dagger. As his voice faded, several bodyguards in black suits emerged from the shadows.
"Sir."
They knelt on one knee before Lin Feng, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. After all, they had witnessed the entire fight from beginning to end.
Now they finally understood just how powerful the usually quiet Lin Feng truly was!
"Go. Clean this up, just like before."
Lin Feng said with a wave of his hand, paying no mind to their reactions.
"Yes, sir."
The bodyguards acknowledged the order and quickly departed with Chen Wu's body.
"You can go back for now. Stay alert tonight. I'm not sure this will be the only attack."
"I won't blame you for the intrusion, but if Su Yanxue gets hurt because of it, then you can all just die."
Lin Feng gave the female bodyguards their instructions and said no more, simply turning and walking toward the manor. It was late, and he needed to wash up before holding Su Yanxue and getting some rest.
"Yes, yes!"
"Rest assured, Sir, we will be on high alert!"
The female bodyguards trembled as they watched Lin Feng's retreating figure.

Morning sunlight streamed through the window, landing on the bed. A beautiful figure on the bed trembled slightly, eyes squeezed shut as if caught in a nightmare.
THUMP!
Su Yanxue's head suddenly hit the pillow. With a pained expression, she slowly opened her drowsy eyes. She usually had sleepless nights, but in Lin Feng's arms, she had felt an unprecedented sense of security.
That feeling of security was deeply satisfying, like she had finally come home. She loved Lin Feng's broad, warm chest; for once, she had slept soundly all night.
But upon waking and seeing Lin Feng's familiar face, her cheeks instantly flushed crimson. She couldn't understand how she had managed to fall asleep last night, let alone so soundly. 'Could it be... because of him?'
"Mmm..."
Just then, Lin Feng also began to stir. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and looked at the beauty in his arms. The cold indifference he showed to outsiders was gone, replaced by a gaze full of tenderness.
"Ah, you're awake."
Lin Feng gently stroked Su Yanxue's forehead as he spoke in a soft voice.
"Mmm."
She shifted slightly, snuggling deeper into his embrace. Lin Feng tightened his arms in response, holding her close and savoring the moment of peace.
"Aren't you going to sleep a little longer?"
Su Yanxue asked. Though her pretty face was flushed, she forced a calm tone, hoping to hide her embarrassment.
"I'm not tired, but what about you? You had a lot of work yesterday, right? Aren't you going to rest a bit more? It's just a little after seven in the morning."
Lin Feng said with a smile, gently patting Su Yanxue on the back. He felt very gratified. 'Su Yanxue is the model of a virtuous wife. Being able to marry a woman like this would make me a very happy man.'
"I want to sleep in too, but I don't want to get in the way of your work! After all, since you're the hands-off boss now, I have to be extra attentive!"
Su Yanxue gave Lin Feng a light, playful push, a mischievous smile on her face. Her heart, however, was filled with a sweet warmth. Lin Feng's words were brimming with affection, the kind of words she absolutely loved to hear.
"Alright then. We'll lie here a bit longer, and I'll take you to the office at eight."
Lin Feng said with a faint smile. It was still a little over half an hour until eight, so he decided to rest a bit more. After all, he was still somewhat tired.

A voice came from outside the door. Lin Feng knew he must have something important to report; otherwise, he wouldn't have been disturbed at all.
"One moment!"
Lin Feng answered, then sat up and helped Su Yanxue straighten the disheveled blankets over her.
Su Yanxue's face was slightly red. Their sleeping position last night had been rather intimate, and her cheeks were burning. She lowered her head, not daring to look at Lin Feng.
Lin Feng didn't linger. He walked quickly to the door and opened it. Seeing Zhou Qiang, the security captain of the Su Group, Lin Feng's brow furrowed slightly.
"What is it? What's wrong?"
Lin Feng asked nonchalantly as he looked at Zhou Qiang. He found it a bit strange that Zhou Qiang would come to report to him so early.
"President Lin, we've spotted a group of strangers near the villa complex. They're circling the area and watching it constantly. I'm afraid they might be here for you, so I've come for instructions. Do you need us to post men around the villa's perimeter?"
Zhou Qiang spoke respectfully. Although he was asking a question, his tone was one of certainty.
"Hm?"
A cold glint flashed in Lin Feng's eyes. 'I can't believe it. I killed Chen Wu, a Mid Stage of Innate master, just last night, and some other power still dares to send people after me today? Do they really think I'm a pushover?'
"Just keep a close watch on them. If they make a move, notify me immediately. After all, if they're here for me, you won't be able to stop them anyway."
Lin Feng said nonchalantly. 'If people are looking to die, why would I stop them?'
