The man was like a beast, ready to strike at any moment!
Suddenly, he felt a powerful grip on his neck.

"Who's there! Let me go!"
Xiao Ye held the man up by the collar, while Zhu Chen quickly helped the woman to her feet. "Are you all right? Are you hurt anywhere?"
They had wanted to take the man down before he could lay a hand on the woman, but it hadn't been the right moment, which was why they waited until now to act.
The woman was clearly terrified. She clutched Zhu Chen's hand tightly. "Quick, get me out of here!"

An hour later, their car pulled up in front of a villa in the city's suburbs.
