Henry Winchester in Supernatural With Supernatural System

Chapter 154 : Nephilim

Dean and Sam suddenly found themselves crashing onto the wooden floor of a small cabin deep in the woods.

For a moment, neither of them understood what had happened. Just seconds ago they had been standing inside the church.

Dean got to his feet immediately, looking around the unfamiliar cabin. "What the..."

Before he could finish, Henry stumbled forward, clutching his stomach. "Fuck... fuck..."

He pulled the angel blade out of his abdomen with a grunt. It clattered onto the wooden floor while faint white light continued leaking from the deep wound.

Henry staggered backward and collapsed into a nearby chair, breathing heavily as he pressed a hand against the injury.

Dean’s expression immediately changed. "Henry... is everything all right?"

Henry let out a pained laugh. "Yeah... except for the huge hole in my gut that might kill me."

He looked down at the glowing wound and cursed under his breath. "Fucking white-eyed demons... they’re really not easy to kill."

Neither Dean nor Sam had ever seen a wound like that. Instead of blood, pale white light seeped from the stab wound, making the entire cabin feel strangely illuminated.

Anna stood frozen nearby, staring at Henry with obvious concern. "You’re hurt because of me..." Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Henry leaned back in the chair, breathing slowly. "Well, this isn’t the first time I’ve been stabbed. Although..." He winced before forcing a weak smile.

"...this is definitely the first time I’ve been stabbed this badly. Just give me some time. I’ll heal."

He closed his eyes and focused on recovering.

Dean and Sam remained silent, watching him. Neither of them understood what they had just witnessed.

Anna’s attention shifted to the angel blade lying on the floor.

She slowly bent down, picked it up, and stared at it as though she had seen it before. "I remember this... this is an angel blade. It kills angels."

Sam immediately turned toward her. "How do you know that?"

Anna looked just as confused as he was. "I... I don’t know. It just came into my mind."

Dean’s eyes drifted back to Henry as the words echoed in his head. It kills angels. Confusion spread slowly across his face.

Why did it hurt Henry? As far as Dean knew, Henry wasn’t an angel. He was their cousin. Yet the blade had pierced him, and instead of blood, white light had poured from the wound.

When he wakes up... he’s going to answer a lot of questions.

Dean let out a slow breath before looking from Henry to Anna and then to Sam.

"We’re not doing anybody any good by standing around guessing."

He walked to one of the cabin windows and carefully looked outside. Nothing but trees in every direction. "I’ll take a look around and figure out where the hell we ended up."

Sam nodded. "Be careful."

Dean reached for the doorknob before turning back. "Keep an eye on Henry and Anna. If Henry wakes up, don’t let him wander off in that condition."

"Got it."

Dean stepped outside and quietly closed the door behind him.

Silence returned to the cabin.

Sam pulled a chair closer to Henry and sat down, glancing between his unconscious cousin and Anna, who was still holding the angel blade with a troubled expression.

After a moment, he finally spoke. "Anna, back at the church you knew that old man was a demon before Henry did. You said his face looked horrifying. What exactly did you see?"

Anna looked down at the blade before answering. "I don’t see the human they’re possessing. I see their real face. It’s twisted, burned, completely inhuman. Every demon looks like that."

She hesitated, as though trying to describe something words could barely capture. "It’s horrible."

Sam slowly nodded. That explained how she had immediately identified Alastair.

"What about Henry?" He looked toward his unconscious cousin. "When you look at him... what do you see?"

Anna turned toward Henry and quietly studied him. The longer she looked, the more confused she became.

"He looks..." She frowned and closed her eyes for a moment, as though trying to remember something. "He is... what the angels call..."

Her voice trailed off. She pressed a hand against her forehead. "I can’t remember the word."

A calm voice suddenly finished the sentence for her.

"A Nephilim."

Sam instantly turned toward the source.

Uriel stood inside the cabin as though he had always been there, his cold eyes fixed entirely on Henry. "A half-human, half-angel," he continued.

"An abomination born from the union of man and angel."

Sam immediately stepped in front of Anna and Henry.

He had only met Uriel once. That had been enough. This was the angel who had been willing to sacrifice an entire town just to prevent a single Seal from breaking.

Uriel’s gaze shifted toward Anna before returning to Henry. "I came here for the girl," he said calmly.

"I didn’t expect to find this one as well." An angel blade appeared in his hand. "It seems Heaven has given me the opportunity to cleanse two sinners at once."

Sam didn’t hesitate. He drew the Colt and aimed it directly at Uriel without lowering the revolver for even a second. "Drop the blade."

Uriel’s expression remained unchanged. "You’re interfering with Heaven’s business. This matter is beyond your understanding. Leave now, and I’ll spare your life."

Sam tightened his grip without taking his eyes off the angel. "No." He slowly cocked the hammer.

"You get out. You know what this gun is, and I’m willing to bet angels die just as easily as demons if they’re on the wrong end of it."
