Chapter 97: A Very Good Job
"You’re right!!"
Asher yelled suddenly, catching Juliana and Kelly off-guard. The two stared at him with a slight frown on their faces, startled by his sudden outburst.
"You don’t need this trash dumpster!" He moved the Celestial-Tier Cauldron to the side and snapped his fingers. Instantly, a four-foot-tall white cauldron made from radiant jewels appeared before them. Its overwhelming, divine aura instantly burst out from it, spreading all over the estate and causing the very air in the living room to hum with energy.
"You’ve got to be kidding me??! Is this a Divine-Tier cauldron?! Tell me, where did you find this?!!" Juliana asked in shock, rushing towards the cauldron and feeling its smooth, shimmering surface with her hand.
"Unbelievable," she added in sheer disbelief, her eyes wide as she traced the intricate runic engravings that pulsed with absolute authority.
"I have a lot of things," Asher said with a confident smile, walking towards a sofa and sitting down. "So will this work? Can you make Divine-Tier pills and potions with this?"
"Yes! With this, I can even make the cure for Kelly and Sara," Juliana said, clearly overjoyed as a radiant smile broke across her face.
Asher blinked, dumbfounded: "Wait, you can make the cure?" He asked in disbelief.
"Yes." Juliana turned to him seriously, her tone shifting from excitement to heavy solemnity:
"Sara, for example, needs two cures: a soul cleansing potion and an Everlasting Mind Pill... But I don’t know how to restore her core. Even if I find a way to make these cures, she will completely lose all her powers and become an ordinary human." She said, turning her sad expression to Sara, who tilted her head in quiet confusion.
’She doesn’t know about the Mythic Core Potion? It seems this potion won’t be easy to acquire... But,’ Asher thought, looking up at Juliana:
"What do you need to make the pills?"
"Forget it, you can’t have them," Juliana shook her head, letting out a soft, resigned sigh.
"If you know I can’t have them, then why are you telling me?!! Besides, is there something money can’t buy?!" He snapped at her, his pride and frustration flaring up.
"Please, there are things money can’t buy." Juliana crossed her arms over her chest, looking down at him with a sharp, pragmatic gaze:
"For example, Kelly’s cure, the soul cleansing potion. I will need the brains of ten Soul Beasts, Chains of the Abyssal, the Heart of a Red Earth Dragon, and the Soul-Reaching Herb... These four can only be located in SSS-RANK Dungeons, and they’re still absurdly rare... Do you think you can buy them?" She shook her head at his previous words.
"But we can get the full cure in their specific dungeon, though the dangers are triple times more."
"I can’t believe you even know the ingredients for the soul cleansing potion," Asher muttered in surprise, impressed.
Juliana sighed softly and turned to Sara, who was calmly watching them; "When I got the news about what happened to them, I searched and searched—from books, scrolls, and even ancient archives. That’s how I located these... In truth, I am not sure if I can make these cures, but we won’t know if we don’t try, right?" She asked, turning to Asher with a small, forced smile that barely masked her lingering grief.
Asher could easily see the pain in her eyes. The profound love his three wives shared for one another was already clear to him, but seeing Juliana’s fragile expression set a roaring fire in his heart. He had already made a promise: one month, and that’s it!
He sat up straight, his posture radiant with absolute resolve: "Alright then! I kind of have the key to the Mental Destruction Dungeon!! In four days, I will get you your cure!! That’s a promise!!" He said with a confident smile.
Juliana stared at him for a moment and simply nodded her head. She knew about the Everlasting Mind Pill and its required ingredients; even a raid team of ten SSS-RANK Awakened wouldn’t be able to easily retrieve them. Yet Asher spoke with such unshakeable certainty that it left her momentarily speechless.
Moreover, everything she had witnessed today gave her a real spark of hope that he might actually succeed.
’Maybe he has something I don’t know of, which makes him this confident,’ she thought, stashing the two Cauldrons, and sword safely into her spatial storage.
"If I see the ingredients to make health potions and Spirit energy restoration potions, I will start making them." She said, her practical nature taking over.
"What happened here?"
Asher and Juliana, along with all the maids and bodyguards standing at the corner, turned towards the entrance as Manager Tang walked inside, accompanied by the Dealership Manager and a dumbfounded man in a tailored suit.
The three moved their stunned gazes around the interior of the villa, utterly speechless; the pristine luxury inside was a stark, surreal contrast to the cratered battlefield outside.
"Just some bugs... Tell me, Tang, did you bring what I asked?" Asher asked, leaning back into his seat.
"Boss! As you said, I bought every single outfit in all the malls located in Silverspire—all limited edition, from bags, dresses, makeup, to shoes... I couldn’t take everything at once, so I bought the entire Mall closest to the house and brought some with me." Tang quickly said, gesturing proudly to the five massive transport vans parked outside.
"How many did you bring?"
"I bought 600 outfits and pairs of shoes, all limited edition, 300 bags, and countless accessories, but I brought half that amount with me today," Tang answered without missing a beat.
"It’s not much. It’s a good thing you bought one whole mall." Asher turned to Juliana with a warm grin:
"Whenever any of you need something, just go to the Mall and take it for free," he said smoothly.
"....?!!"
Juliana, the Dealership Manager, the man beside her, and every servant present stood frozen, completely dumbfounded by his absurd display of wealth and casual indulgence.
