042: What… happened?
**Chapter 42**
“Ignore them. It’s the last day of school anyway.”
Mira kept her voice low as she sat across from Sara in the crowded cafeteria. A few tables away, a group of teenagers in mixed outfits kept glancing over and snickering, throwing out comments just loud enough to be heard. Mira’s fingers tightened around her plastic fork. She wanted nothing more than to stand up, walk over, and put every last one of them on the ground. She didn’t. Any physical response would only create bigger problems for both of them on the last day of school.
“I know,” Sara answered. Her voice was quiet, her expression clouded.
Mira assumed the depression came from the insults. She was wrong.
Sara’s mind was still trapped in the events of the previous afternoon. Every time the memory of Tyler’s mouth on hers returned, a soft pulse of heat rolled through her lower lips, and a thin line of wetness followed. She pressed her thighs together hard beneath the table and tried to force the thoughts away.
‘He’s Tyler. Your cousin, for God’s sake.’
Her body refused to listen. The more she scolded herself, the stronger the ache became.
It wasn’t new. Growing up, Tyler had been the private image she used more often than she ever admitted. After she started dating Jackson, she had forced herself to stop—or at least she thought she had. Even while she was with Jackson, she still sometimes touched herself thinking about her cousin. She had managed to bury those feelings for a long stretch of time.
Then yesterday happened.
Yesterday she had kissed him. Yesterday his hands had been on her body in ways Jackson had never been allowed. Yesterday his face had been so close to the place between her legs that she could still feel the ghost of his breath. She had stopped him at the last possible second, but the memory refused to leave.
The pressure between her thighs became unbearable. Unable to sit still any longer, Sara stood up so abruptly her chair scraped loudly against the floor. She left the cafeteria without a word. Most of the students assumed she was running from the mockery. They couldn’t have been more wrong.
Mira watched her sister leave and immediately rose to follow. Before she could take more than two steps, her phone vibrated.
**Tyler:** Why don’t you and Sara visit the roof of your school? Or some place else that isn’t the cafeteria.
Mira frowned at the message but didn’t answer. She hurried after Sara and saw her disappear into the girls’ restroom. Assuming her sister needed a private place to cry, Mira followed quietly and slipped into the adjoining stall.
What she heard was not crying.

Inside the locked stall, Sara leaned back against the cold tile wall, breathing hard. She had barely managed to get the door shut before her hand was already under the waistband of her skirt. Her panties were soaked. Two fingers slid through the slick folds and found her swollen clit immediately.
She bit down on her lower lip to keep from making noise.
The moment her fingers started moving, the memory of the day before flooded back in full detail—Tyler’s tongue in her mouth, the weight of his body between her legs, the way his cock had pressed against her through their clothes. She rubbed faster, circling the sensitive peak with short, desperate strokes.
‘I stopped him… I actually stopped him…’
The thought only made the heat worse. She pushed two fingers inside herself and curled them upward, chasing the pressure she had denied herself the previous afternoon. Her free hand braced against the stall wall as her hips began to rock against her own hand. Soft, wet sounds filled the small space. She was already close.
She imagined what would have happened if she hadn’t stopped him. His mouth on her breasts. His fingers replacing hers. The thick head of his cock pushing against her entrance while she was still half-drunk and trembling. The fantasy was so vivid she had to clamp her free hand over her mouth to muffle the broken moan that escaped.
“Tyler…”
Her orgasm hit hard and sudden. Her legs shook. A fresh rush of wetness coated her fingers as she kept rubbing through the waves, milking every last pulse until her knees felt weak. She stayed like that for almost a full minute, forehead pressed to the cool tile, trying to catch her breath and force the aftershocks to stop.
When she finally pulled her hand free, her fingers were shiny. She wiped them on a handful of toilet paper, flushed, and tried to compose herself. Her face was still flushed, and her thighs still trembled slightly when she unlocked the stall and stepped out.
~~
Sara returned to the cafeteria less than five minutes after she had left, expecting to find Mira still at their table. Instead, she walked into chaos.
The same group of students who had been mocking her was scattered across the floor. Some cradled broken hands. Others lay on their sides, groaning, faces already swelling. The rest of the students had retreated to the far walls, too frightened to speak or help. It looked as though a violent storm had torn through the room in the short time she had been gone.
“What happened here?” Sara asked, voice tight with disbelief.
Mira stood a short distance away, face pale. “I… I have no idea.”
That wasn’t true. Mira knew exactly who was responsible. She had only been absent for roughly two minutes—long enough to overhear her sister’s private moment in the restroom and long enough for Tyler to reduce half a dozen people to the floor. The speed of it was what shocked her most. One girl in particular looked like she had received special attention.
‘What the hell is Tyler capable of in two minutes?’ Mira thought. And more importantly, what else was she going to discover before this day ended? Something more shocking than what she had just witnessed a while ago.
She decided she needed to speak with him as soon as possible, about this at least, because there was no way she could talk about the other matter. To anyone, let alone him.

I exhaled slowly as I pulled out of the school parking lot, a deep, almost pleasant satisfaction settling in my chest. Beating the arrogance out of a group of spoiled, loud-mouthed kids had been the most effective stress relief I’d had in days.
While I was inside the building, I also noticed something unexpected.
In the faculty wing—well away from the student areas—there was a thick, concentrated cloud of pink lust haze. It wasn’t Aunt Elise’s. Nor was it as thick as hers. The scent was different, carrying a heavy undercurrent of desperation and quiet helplessness. Whoever it belonged to was definitely an adult. A teenager producing that density of lust would have already found a way to relieve it. This one felt older, more trapped by circumstances.
I wanted to investigate immediately, but the risk wasn’t worth it with students still present. Tomorrow the school would be empty of kids. Only staff would remain. That would be the cleaner opportunity.
The system had already made its purpose clear. I was done half-fighting it. From this point forward, I intended to explore every avenue it offered.

“What do you mean you don’t know?”
The man behind the desk slammed his hand down hard enough to make the glass rattle. The woman standing opposite him didn’t flinch. Her expression remained completely neutral, as though she were delivering a routine status report rather than bad news.
“We still haven’t identified who’s been hitting our hideouts,” she said evenly. “The fact that they even know the locations strongly suggests an internal leak.”
The man’s face darkened further. “That’s exactly what I told you to find out! Do you understand how many shipments we’ve lost? The council is already making demands. If we don’t fix this, every single one of us is going to end up with our heads on a platter!”
She understood the severity. Understanding and solving the problem were two different matters.
The targeted locations had been guarded as thoroughly as their resources allowed. Somehow the thief still entered and exited without a single guard hearing anything—not even the sound of product being moved. Half the merchandise had vanished completely. The remaining half had been left behind in a way that practically invited the police to find it.
Either the guards were involved (unlikely, since none of them had fled the city) or the product had simply disappeared into thin air. Both explanations were absurd, yet one of them had to be true.
“We’ve already used our police contacts to recover what we can,” the woman continued. “That should buy us a little time. After that we can focus on identifying the leak.”
The man waved her off with an irritated gesture. She nodded once and left the office, closing the door quietly behind her.
He was alone with his thoughts for less than a minute before his phone rang. A familiar woman’s face appeared on the screen.
Every trace of anger vanished from his voice the moment he answered, as if the previous conversation had never happened.
“Hey, honey. What’s up?”
On the other end, a calm, melodic voice replied,
“Tom, I just wanted to know when you’re coming home.”
