Chapter 105: Ch 105- Home Sweet Home

Ten minutes later, Mo Yuan was sitting inside another cave.

After unleashing such a terrifying attack, he had no intention of staying in the same place. The disturbance from his slash had been far too great. Even if he had not sensed any Sovereign Realm beast nearby, there was no guarantee that none of them had noticed the commotion.

It was better to leave first.

Mo Yuan sat cross-legged inside the cave and let out a long sigh.

"Phew... Who would have thought that one day I would become this strong?"

He looked down at his hands.

"And I’m only at the Origin Soul Realm."

Thinking about his current strength, Mo Yuan couldn’t help feeling excited.

Although he did not know exactly how strong a Sovereign Realm cultivator was but he could make a rough estimate.

"I should at least be able to battle an Early Sovereign Realm cultivator."

Mo Yuan wasn’t completely sure about this. After all, he had never fought a Sovereign Realm cultivator before but there was one thing he was certain about.

There was no way an Origin Lord Realm cultivator could produce the kind of destructive power he had just displayed.

His strength had already far exceeded what should be possible at Origin Lord realm.

Mo Yuan smiled.

"I think I’ve already achieved my purpose for coming to the wilderness this time."

He had originally come here to search for powerful talents.

In the end, he had managed to obtain the Devour Talent, which was extremely useful for his cultivation. He had also obtained several other talents and hunted enough beasts to provide him with cultivation resources for a long time.

The only thing he failed to obtain was the Ultimate Grade Strength Talent he had been looking for.

"But I can’t force it. Ultimate Grade talents aren’t something I can find whenever I want."

Mo Yuan looked toward the cave entrance.

"Besides, in five days, it will be almost two months since I came to the wilderness."

He suddenly remembered something.

"The Federation Tournament is about to start."

His expression changed slightly.

He had almost forgotten about it after spending so much time in the wilderness.

"I should go home and take a break. I also need to check on Mo Ran."

It had been nearly two months since he had last returned to Cang Lan Base.

During this time, he had been constantly hunting beasts and cultivating. Even though Mo Ran was staying safely in the base and attending the academy, Mo Yuan still wanted to see her wellbeing with his own eyes.

"Time to go home."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mo Yuan’s figure disappeared from the cave.

One hour later, outside the main gate of Cang Lan Base, a figure suddenly appeared.

It was Mo Yuan.

He looked at the enormous walls of the base and smiled slightly.

"Finally back."

Mo Yuan walked toward the entrance and took out his identification card.

The guard checked it before returning it to him.

"Welcome back."

Mo Yuan nodded and walked inside.

He didn’t waste any time and directly headed toward his home and when he reached there and opened the door, the entire house was completely silent.

Mo Yuan looked around.

"It’s still two hours before Mo Ran comes back from the academy."

He rubbed his stomach.

"I should cook something."

He opened the refrigerator and it was empty.

Mo Yuan stared inside for several seconds.

"Did this girl eat everything?"

With no other choice, Mo Yuan went outside and headed to the nearby supermarket.

He bought some eggs, instant noodles and several vegetables before returning home.

Soon, the smell of food filled the house.

Mo Yuan made himself a simple omelet, boiled some instant noodles and added a few vegetables.

It wasn’t anything special but after spending nearly two months eating whatever he could find in the wilderness, even such a simple meal felt strangely satisfying.

After finishing his meal, Mo Yuan leaned back on the sofa.

"Ah..."

His body finally relaxed.

He hadn’t properly slept for almost two months.

For cultivators, going without sleep for such a long time wasn’t a problem. As his cultivation became stronger, ordinary sleep was no longer necessary but mental exhaustion was different.

After everything that had happened during these two months, Mo Yuan was already exhausted and before he even realized it, his eyes slowly closed.

Within a few minutes, Mo Yuan was completely asleep on the sofa.

While Mo Yuan was sleeping soundly, completely unaware of what kind of commotion he had caused, the wilderness was already beginning to react.

Back at the place where his terrifying slash had landed, the forest had been completely destroyed. Trees had been reduced to pieces, the ground was covered in cracks.

A few minutes later, a small rat-like beast cautiously emerged from the forest.

It was only about half a meter tall, with grey fur covering its body. It looked harmless but its small eyes were constantly scanning its surroundings.

The little beast walked around the destroyed area and lowered its head.

Sniff.

Sniff.

After taking several breaths, its expression suddenly became serious.

It seemed to have sensed something extremely unusual.

The little rat looked toward the distance for a few seconds before its body suddenly blurred.

Whoosh!

It disappeared without leaving behind even a trace.

At the same time, deep within the Forbidden Area of the Cang Wilderness, at the foot of the enormous Flame Mountain, an enormous manor stood quietly.

This was not an ordinary manor.

The buildings were gigantic and even the doors were dozens of meters tall. The entire manor was built from special materials capable of withstanding the pressure of Sovereign Realm beasts.

Inside one of the largest halls, there was an enormous round table.

Around the table were nine huge seats.

Eight of them were already occupied.

The first was a giant black-furred mouse. Its body was nearly five meters tall and its tiny eyes were closed.

Beside it sat a massive golden bull with two curved horns. Its muscles were extremely well developed and every breath it took caused the surrounding air to tremble slightly.

The third was a crimson-scaled serpent. Its enormous body was coiled beneath its chair, while its cold vertical pupils remained closed.

The fourth was a gigantic grey elephant. Its thick legs were like pillars and two huge ivory tusks extended from its mouth.

There were also two terrifying crocodile-type beasts. One had dark green scales, while the other had black scales covered with strange golden patterns.

The remaining two seats were occupied by a gigantic white tiger and a strange three-eyed raven.

All eight were Sovereign Realm beasts.

Despite their terrifying strength, none of them spoke.

They simply sat around the table in silence.

Then suddenly...

Boom!

A majestic aura spread across the entire hall.

The eight Sovereign beasts instantly widened their eyes.

The air itself seemed to become heavy and in the next moment, an old man suddenly appeared in the empty ninth seat.

He looked like an ordinary human elder, with white hair and a wrinkled face but the eight Sovereign beasts showed no surprise.

They all knew exactly who this old man was.

The Flood Dragon.

The strongest Sovereign beast in the entire Cang Wilderness.

The old man slowly opened his eyes and glanced at the eight beasts sitting around the table.

His expression was cold.

"You better have a good reason for disturbing my sleep."

The moment his voice fell, the entire hall became silent once again.

None of the Sovereign beasts dared to speak immediately. The pressure coming from the old man was simply too great.

After a few seconds, the giant black-furred mouse finally opened its mouth.

"We discovered something unusual."

The old man’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"Something unusual?"

The mouse nodded.

"Yes. A terrifying attack appeared near the Inner Area. The destruction is enormous."

The old man remained silent.

Then the golden bull slowly spoke.

"The attack was strong enough to destroy several kilometers of forest."

For the first time, a trace of interest appeared in the old man’s eyes.

"Several kilometers?"

He leaned back in his chair.

"Tell me everything."
