Chapter 199: Ch 199- Insane Impovements
As soon as Mo Yuan’s fist struck the Primordial Strength Testing Equipment, the numbers on the display began to rise rapidly.
After a few seconds, they finally stopped.
81,000,000 jin
Mo Yuan stared at the result for a moment before nodding in satisfaction.
"81 million jin at just 59% Primordial Blood Refinement. Not bad. I should be able to reach 150 million jin once I reach the Peak Origin Lord Realm."
He was quite satisfied with this improvement.
"As for my strength with all my multipliers..."
Mo Yuan immediately began calculating.
His Ultimate Grade Strength Talent provided a 25 times multiplier. Boundless Saber Art at Minor Achievement increased his strength by another 9 times. On top of that, his Primordial Qi enhancement doubled his strength, while Blood Saber Intent provided another 2 times multiplier.
"81 million jin × 25 × 9 × 2 × 2..."
Mo Yuan quickly finished the calculation.
"Holy shit! 72.9 billion jin!"
He could not help taking a deep breath.
Every time he checked his strength after a breakthrough, he received another shock. Even though he had expected a considerable increase, seeing the final number still felt unreal.
Nearly 73 billion jin!
That was an absurd amount of physical strength for someone who had only reached the Late Origin Lord Realm.
’If I encounter an ordinary Sovereign Realm cultivator now, I wonder how many can withstand a full-strength attack from me.’
Mo Yuan shook his head and put the thought aside. There was no point in becoming arrogant just because his strength had increased. The world was enormous and there would always be people with powerful talents and techniques.
"Time to check my speed."
As soon as he finished speaking, Mo Yuan disappeared from his original position and reappeared several dozen meters away.
"76 mach, Not bad."
His base speed had increased considerably as well.
With his Ultimate Grade Speed Talent providing a 20 times multiplier, his speed could reach 1,520 Mach. If he activated Shadow Walk, which doubled his speed, he could reach an astonishing 3,040 Mach.
"Three thousand Mach with Shadow Walk and 1,520 Mach without it. That’s crazy."
Even he found those numbers difficult to believe.
Of course, moving at such speeds consumed energy and he could not maintain his maximum output forever. Still, having this kind of speed gave him an enormous advantage in battle. Most opponents would struggle to react before he reached them.
After checking his speed, Mo Yuan spread his Origin Sense throughout the surroundings.
In an instant, his perception expanded beyond the cultivation chamber, covering the nearby streets and buildings. He could clearly sense pedestrians walking outside, people talking inside nearby shops and even activities taking place farther away.
His Origin Sense continued expanding until it reached its current limit.
Origin Sense Range: 7,843 meters
Mo Yuan nodded before thinking his Ultimate Grade Illusion Talent. It enhanced his Origin Sense by 20 times, allowing him to extend his effective range much farther.
He performed the calculation.
7,843 × 20 = 156,860 meters.
"Almost 157 kilometers. Not bad, not bad at all."
With such a wide range, he could detect countless things long before they came anywhere near him.
Of course, special concealment abilities could still prevent him from detecting certain targets but ordinary people and beasts would have little chance of escaping his perception.
After checking all his attributes and calculating his multipliers, Mo Yuan finally calmed down.
His strength, speed and Origin Sense had all improved considerably during the past twenty-eight days. However, he still had several things to accomplish.
His Primordial Blood Refinement had only reached 59% and his Boundless Saber Art was stuck at a bottleneck just before Major Achievement.
’I should eat something first.’
Mo Yuan rubbed his stomach.
He had locked himself inside his cultivation chamber for twenty-eight days and had not eaten a proper meal during that time. With his cultivation completed for now, he finally felt like enjoying some food.
’After eating, I’ll focus entirely on Boundless Saber Art. I must break through to Major Achievement as soon as possible.’
He also remembered that his Copy and Paste Talent’s cooldown would reset in two days.
’As for which talent to copy next, I’ll think about it later.’
With that thought, Mo Yuan left the cultivation chamber.
It was already nine in the morning. Mo Ran, Goldy and Kitty had already left for the academy, leaving the house quiet.
Mo Yuan walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, hoping to find something he could quickly prepare.
Unfortunately, the refrigerator was almost empty.
He stared at it for a moment before closing the door.
’That girl didn’t restock the refrigerator? What am I supposed to eat now?’
After thinking for a moment, Mo Yuan decided to eat out.
’Let’s go to a restaurant.’
In all the time he had spent in this world, he had only visited a restaurant once and that had been with Mu Qingying. Since then, he had either eaten at home or relied on whatever food was available.
Now that he had reached the Origin Lord Realm, he felt he had earned the right to enjoy a good meal.
Mo Yuan left the house and headed toward the most famous restaurant in Cang Lan Base. It was also operated by the Mu Family, which was hardly surprising.
The family had businesses in almost every major industry, from the Martial Hall to restaurants and other commercial establishments.
The restaurant was located in the heart of the base. Its tall building stood out among the surrounding structures and its entrance was decorated with elegant wooden carvings and glowing formations.
Well-dressed staff members stood at the entrance, welcoming customers as they arrived.
Mo Yuan walked inside.
The interior was spacious and luxurious without being overly flashy. Crystal lamps hung from the ceiling, while large windows offered a clear view of the busy streets outside. The aroma of freshly prepared food filled the air.
A waiter immediately approached him.
"Welcome, sir. Do you have a reservation?"
"No. Just find me a good table."
"Of course, sir. Please follow me."
The waiter led him to a table beside one of the large windows. After handing him the menu, he patiently waited for Mo Yuan to make his selection.
Mo Yuan glanced through the menu. There were ordinary dishes but the restaurant also offered meals prepared from powerful beasts. Their meat contained Primordial Qi and could help cultivators replenish their energy.
Since he was already here, he decided not to hold back.
He ordered a plate of Golden-Crested Beast ribs, a bowl of Jade Mushroom Soup, several portions of roasted Ironback Boar meat and a serving of Spirit Rice. He also ordered a pot of hundred-year-old Spirit Tea.
The waiter carefully recorded his order before leaving.
While waiting, Mo Yuan casually observed the restaurant. Several cultivators were discussing recent events, while others were enjoying their meals.
From their auras, most of them seemed to be in the Origin Core or Origin Sea Realm. A few stronger cultivators were seated in private rooms upstairs.
Soon, his food arrived.
The Golden-Crested Beast ribs were roasted until their surface turned golden brown, with a layer of fragrant seasoning covering the meat. The Jade Mushroom Soup had a rich aroma and the Spirit Rice gave off a faint glow due to the Primordial Qi contained within it.
Mo Yuan picked up his chopsticks and took a bite.
His eyes brightened.
’Not bad!’
The meat was tender and full of flavor. More importantly, the Primordial Qi inside it was surprisingly pure.
Although it could not compare to the energy he absorbed during cultivation, it was still pleasant to eat something that tasted good while providing some nourishment.
He quickly began enjoying his meal.
One plate after another disappeared from the table.
After finishing his final bowl of soup, Mo Yuan leaned back in his chair and let out a satisfied breath.
’That was much better than eating whatever I could find at home.’
He paid the bill and gave tip to the waiter and left the restaurant.
After returning home, Mo Yuan went straight to his cultivation chamber.
This time, he did not sit down to absorb Primordial Qi or refine his blood. Instead, he opened his storage space and took out his saber.
Mo Yuan looked at the blade for a moment before his expression became serious.
He had already reached the bottleneck before Major Achievement in Boundless Saber Art. With his improved comprehension after fusing Clear Heart Talent into Enlightenment Talent, he believed he could make further progress.
’I’ve spent enough time cultivating my body. Now it’s time to completely focus on my saber art.’
He slowly raised his saber and began practicing the first movement of Boundless Saber Art.
The blade flashed through the air.
One slash followed another, each movement faster and more precise than the last. Mo Yuan did not rush.
Instead, he carefully examined every movement, searching for the flaw that had kept him stuck at the bottleneck.
The cultivation chamber soon filled with the sound of the saber cutting through the air.
Mo Yuan continued practicing, completely focused on the blade in his hand.
He would not stop until he broke through to Major Achievement.
