War God Long Ao

Long Ao was overjoyed. The speed of Long Qiang and Long Ming was more than enough to overwhelm the Three-headed Dragon Horse.

A man, a dragon, and a tiger. Their three-pronged assault, combined with their absolute advantage in speed, completely suppressed the three Lightning Dragon Horses.

Long Ao didn’t hold back in the slightest. He threw a punch for each, viciously smashing them on the crowns of their heads and killing the Three-headed Dragon Horses on the spot.

Letting nothing go to waste, he sent the corpses and souls of the three Lightning Dragon Horses into his Dragon Seal Space, preparing to refine them into Corpse Slaves. A creature with such speed could dominate nearly any Martial Artist of the same Level, so long as it wasn’t completely outmatched in swiftness.

Plonking down on the ground, Long Ao gasped for breath.

With his blood-red hair and a body covered in fresh blood, Long Ao looked terrifying at this moment.

"Not bad. To be able to kill Dragon Horses, it’s no wonder you have the guts to try and establish yourself in the City of Sin."

Hearing the voice, Long Ao immediately shot to his feet, warily watching the five people before him. When he saw Snake Princess standing on the far left, he instantly guessed the identities of the other four.

The Five Great Emperors. The Five Great Emperors who dominated the City of Sin had always been as elusive as divine dragons, rarely showing themselves in public.

"Long Ao, do you admit your guilt?"

"My guilt? My ass." Long Ao detested this type of person, the kind who would just show up and ask, ’Do you admit your guilt?’ ’Who the hell do you think you are? In the eyes of others, the Five Great Emperors may be high and mighty, but to me, they’re just five Emperors. Nothing more.’

"Hahaha, Long Ao, I like your personality, hahaha."

The Four Great Emperors laughed wildly and without restraint. After all, despite Long Ao’s power being on full display, he was so arrogant that he didn’t even seem to regard the five of them as a threat.

"A Dragon Martial Artist. To think you’re actually a Dragon Martial Artist."

"Accompanied by a Dragon and Tiger. If you were given enough time to grow, your future achievements would certainly be impressive."

Long Ao’s heart skipped a beat. He had guessed the Five Great Emperors would come after him, but he never thought they would chase him all the way into the Dark Forest.

"Long Ao, you want to establish yourself in the City of Sin?"

"That’s right. And if you’re willing, you can all submit to me."

"Submit to you? Hahaha, not bad, a very fine proposal." Hearing Long Ao’s words, the four Emperors, with the exception of the grave-faced Snake Princess, burst into wild laughter again, as if they had just heard the most ridiculous thing in the world.

"Long Ao, I have to admit, your strength is formidable. That sword strike of yours, especially, could be described as world-shocking. But unfortunately, your Realm is too low. Do you really think you can withstand the five of us?"

Although he was confident in his strength, Long Ao knew his own limits. Forget fighting the five of them together, he couldn’t even defeat a single World Emperor Martial Artist in a one-on-one fight.

The greatest difference between a Realm King and a Realm Emperor was that a Realm King possessed the Power of Domain, while a Realm Emperor could not only enhance the Power of Domain but also shatter it. This was the true strength of a Realm Emperor.

Long Ao’s expression turned grim. He had just exhausted a great deal of his Vitality fighting the three Lightning Dragon Horses. If he were to fight again now, his chances of survival were slim to none.

At that moment, Long Ao suddenly noticed Snake Princess giving him a meaningful look. ’What does she mean?’

"Long Ao, hand over the Giant Dragon and your Sword Technique. We can spare you, but you must sever your own hands and feet, cut out your tongue, and never set foot in the City of Sin again."

It had to be said, the Four Great Emperors were truly ruthless, aiming for total annihilation.

Just then, before the Four Great Emperors could make a move, Long Ao shot forward. He took the initiative to attack, startling them. But just as the Four Great Emperors thought Long Ao was courting death, he spun around and fled with incredible speed.

’He ran?’

The Four Great Emperors looked at each other. They had never imagined that Long Ao would just bolt like that. Still, brimming with confidence, they immediately gave chase.

Long Ao might not back down from a powerful Martial Artist, but that didn’t mean he had a death wish, especially when it meant dying for nothing. He knew full well he was no match for the Four Great Emperors. To just hand himself over to them—how was that any different from being a moron?

’Where there’s life, there’s hope.’ It was for this very reason that, upon receiving Snake Princess’s signal, Long Ao had turned and shot away.

Long Ao knew very well that at his own speed, escape was impossible. His only hope was to rely on Long Qiang.

He leaped onto Long Qiang’s back. Long Qiang, of course, knew what was happening and shot toward the deepest part of the Dark Forest at top speed. And so, with one party fleeing and the other in pursuit, both Long Ao and the Five Great Emperors exerted all their strength.

"You four, Long Ao is gone. Why don’t we go back first and discuss how to find the entrance we’re looking for?"

Snake Princess was very worried about Long Ao. After all, he was Dugu Bai’s sworn brother. She had to help for Dugu Bai’s sake, if for no one else’s. If something happened to Long Ao, how could she ever face Dugu Bai?

But Snake Princess knew she absolutely could not be too obvious about this. Otherwise, if the Four Great Emperors found out, forget Long Ao—even she herself would be in grave trouble.

She was confident in her own strength, but if it came to fighting one against four, Snake Princess knew she was no match for the Four Great Emperors.

The Four Great Emperors—Eastern Emperor Luo Tian, Southern Emperor Zhou Chen, Northern Emperor Ye Feng, and Central Emperor Nangong Tu—looked around with gloomy expressions. What should have been an easy catch had slipped through their fingers, and they were finding it hard to stomach.

"That Sword Technique Long Ao has... I can say for certain it’s a Supreme Martial Art. If we could obtain it..."

Ye Feng didn’t finish his sentence, but his meaning was crystal clear.

The tale of Long Ao’s heaven-shaking strike that killed two Realm Kings had already spread throughout the City of Sin. All who heard the news were stunned, speculating about just how powerful that strike of his truly was.

"I’m not so much concerned about the Sword Technique," another said. "I just truly never expected this kid to also be a Dragon Martial Artist."

"Nangong Tu, you have to understand, this kid is just a disciple from Red Fire Town, not even part of a Third Level Long Family. The Third Level Long Family has already gotten involved, and they’re on very bad terms with Long Ao. If nothing unexpected happens, the Long Clan will soon find out about him."

The Long Clan. At the mention of this name, everyone’s heart trembled. They all knew exactly what the Long Clan represented.

"On the surface, the Long Clan’s rules state that any Long Family disciple below the Third Level who becomes a Dragon Martial Artist is to be killed without question. But you and I both know very well, with Long Ao’s talent, potential, and status as a Dragon Martial Artist, will the Long Clan actually kill him? Without a doubt, it’s impossible. Letting out a deep sigh, Zhou Chen continued, "If that really happens, then our troubles will become immense."
