The Ultimate Devil's Magnificent CEO

Chapter 150: Watch Out

THUD! THUD! THUD!

A series of dull thuds echoed as Ah Shan charged into the crowd. At over two meters tall and moving with monstrous speed, he instantly bludgeoned several fighters from both sides to death with his bare fists!

Only then did everyone notice Ah Shan!

However, both sides' first reaction was to assume he was the enemy's hidden trump card. Instead of retreating, they charged forward to attack!

They were completely lost in the frenzy of battle.

"Run! If we don't run now, it'll be too late!"

Zhou Fan shouted anxiously, glancing back at the little girl. He saw her still sitting on the wrecked car. Still yelling, he rushed toward Bai Zhi and He Yi, who were lost in the slaughter.

SHLICK!

With a swift strike, Zhou Fan plunged his dagger into Sean's chest the moment they passed each other, then kicked him in Ah Shan's direction.

Zhou Fan was stronger than Sean to begin with. Although both were injured—Zhou Fan's wounds even more severe—he was an expert at ambushes, so taking Sean out in a single move was well within his abilities.

"Take the men from the Double Squad and run! As fast as you can!" Zhou Fan grabbed He Yi's shoulder, his expression more serious than ever.

He Yi froze for a moment. He then saw Ah Shan's brutality and the helplessness of both sides against him. The giant was felling men with single punches. He Yi said nothing more, simply nodding before turning and charging back toward the others.

"I'm not leaving! My mission is to protect you!" Bai Zhi said, seeing Zhou Fan look her way.

"Protect my ass! We can't beat them!" Zhou Fan swore in frustration. Even if they all ganged up on Ah Shan, killing him was the best they could hope for. But as for the little girl who had killed Blake in a single move, Zhou Fan had absolutely no confidence.

However, Bai Zhi turned a deaf ear to Zhou Fan's words. She took out a small vial, poured out two pills, swallowed one, and handed the other to Zhou Fan.

"Then stick close to me and keep an eye on that little girl!" Zhou Fan didn't hesitate; he took the pill and swallowed it. He saw that Ah Shan had already overpowered He Yi and Fan and was charging into the crowd again. With both sides now numbering less than twenty people combined, Zhou Fan stopped hiding. With a flick of his wrist, he sent his dagger flying.

But to Zhou Fan's surprise, Ah Shan casually swatted the dagger out of the air while simultaneously slapping another person to death.

'Damn it, what the hell is this thing? A Blue Puppet, a level above a Green Puppet? Is that even a thing?' Zhou Fan cursed under his breath. With a single thought, the Li Hen Sword was in his hand. Shrouded in a jet-black glow, Zhou Fan charged toward Ah Shan, sword in hand.

"Take the brothers who are still alive and go! Now!" Starting second, Zhou Fan arrived first, snatching an assassin from the brink of being slapped to death by Ah Shan and tossing him aside. He thrust the Li Hen Sword forward. "The rest of you assassins, scram! You're mercs who take money to solve problems. Now that Blake and Sean are dead, I don't want to kill you!"

As Zhou Fan joined the fray, He Yi and Fan led the dozen or so remaining members of the Double Squad to retreat ten meters away. Seeing this, the few remaining assassins gave Zhou Fan a fist-to-palm salute before turning and running into the dense forest to the right.

"Why are you still here? What are you gawking at? Get going! If you stay, I can't go all out. You'll just drag me down!" Zhou Fan shouted when he saw He Yi and his men hadn't left.

"You take the brothers and retreat first. Then call my master and tell him that if he doesn't send people, the Double Squad is going to be wiped out!" A ruthless glint flashed in Fan's eyes as he whispered to He Yi. He then took out a bottle of sky-blue liquid and drank it down. Without looking back, he charged straight into the fight, joining Zhou Fan to face Ah Shan.

"Go!"

He Yi gave the two of them a long, hard look, knowing his presence would be of no help. Gritting his teeth, he let out a low shout and led the others back the way they came.

Seeing that Zhou Fan and Fan were temporarily locked in a dead heat with Ah Shan, Bai Zhi decided not to join in. Instead, she stood to the side, dagger in hand, slowly recovering from her injuries. All the while, her beautiful eyes were fixed on the little girl in the distance, who was still sitting on the car and swinging her legs like an innocent child.

"What is this thing? My dagger hit him, but it didn't even leave a scratch!" Fan said, frustrated after several rounds of attacks against the unfazed Ah Shan.

"I told you to go, but you wouldn't listen. You're asking me? How the hell should I know!" Zhou Fan snapped, though he never let the little girl out of his peripheral vision. The sight of her piercing Blake's chest, tearing out his heart, and eating it had been too shocking to forget.

"Show some gratitude! I was worried you'd die here alone!" Fan suddenly dodged Ah Shan's frontal assault. With Zhou Fan keeping the giant distracted, Fan got behind him, leaped high into the air, and plunged his dagger down toward the top of Ah Shan's head.

'There's no way this brute is invulnerable everywhere!' he thought.

But just then, Bai Zhi, who had been staring at the little girl from a distance, cried out in alarm.

"Look out!"
