The Ultimate Devil's Magnificent CEO

Chapter 202: Are You Scared?

"Kill them! Kill them all! Leave no one alive!"

Seeing them not only ignore him but trade barbs to humiliate him, Liang He could no longer bear it. With a furious roar, the men beside him led dozens of thugs, all of them shouting as they charged at Zhou Fan's group!

"Xiaowen, protect Xiaolu and get back!" Zhou Fan told Chu Wen. He then shot Fan a look. Taking the hint, Fan grabbed Zheng Sisi's hand. Gripping the dagger in his right hand, he began stabbing at the men charging toward them.

Zhou Fan, however, remained perfectly calm. Cradling Chen Yao with his left arm, he materialized the Li Hen Sword in his right hand. With a flick of his wrist, he swung, instantly slaying the several men who had just reached him.

These so-called thugs would be considered masters by ordinary people, but to Zhou Fan and Fan, they were utterly pathetic. It was like an adult bullying children.

However, fighting with one hand while holding onto Zheng Sisi with the other proved to be a challenge for Fan, especially when he came up against the men who had been standing beside Liang He.

But Fan had been the captain of Wolf Fang, after all. When he met a difficult opponent, he simply lured them toward Zhou Fan. He had just seen it for himself—for experts of this caliber, Zhou Fan only needed a single sword strike.

After cutting down a dozen or two of the thugs as if he were on a leisurely stroll, Zhou Fan raised his sword, pointed the tip directly at Liang He, and shouted, "Son, are you still not going to make a move? Are you waiting for all your men to be killed, or are you looking for another chance to ambush me?"

"That's right, my dear nephew, what are you daydreaming about? What's going through your head over there?" Seeing that he was perfectly safe, Chu Wen joined Zhou Fan in the taunting.

"Oh, stop talking! What if you make our nephew angry again?" Though Xiaolu sounded like she was trying to stop Chu Wen, her words were like rubbing salt in Liang He's wounds.

"It's fine. With my brother-in-law here, this old bastard can't make any waves." Chu Wen was completely unfazed. As he spoke, he grabbed a nearby wine bottle and smashed it over the head of a thug who had snuck up on them.

"Bastards! Since you're all so determined to die, I'll be happy to send you on your way!"

Liang He had indeed been planning to wait for the right moment to strike, hoping to kill Zhou Fan in a single blow. But now it was clear his men couldn't cause Zhou Fan and his friends any real trouble. Deciding not to wait any longer, he drew a large saber, leaped forward, and landed directly in front of Zhou Fan. He raised the saber high and brought it slashing down toward Zhou Fan's head.

"Finally decided to make your move?" Zhou Fan sneered. His power had risen by more than a single level since their last encounter. Facing what looked like a powerful, heavy blow, he met it with an effortlessly light strike of his own.

CLANG!

The sound of metal on metal echoed. Liang He felt the arm holding his saber go numb. He stumbled back two steps, each footstep leaving a deep print in the floor. When he finally stopped, his face was grim.

Zhou Fan, in contrast, hadn't moved an inch. His expression was calm as he looked at Liang He with a faint smile, not even loosening his grip on Chen Yao in the slightest.

One move. It took only a single move to make the gap between them crystal clear. The difference in their power was obvious.

Liang He shook the numbness from his arm and gripped his saber with both hands, his expression grave. 'He couldn't believe it. How could Zhou Fan's power have grown so fast? It had only been a few days since he had seriously wounded him, and now he had been knocked back in a single exchange!'

'True, injuring Zhou Fan back then had been a sneak attack, but Liang He knew one thing for sure: as things stood now, he was no match for him.'

Nearby, someone else was every bit as shocked as Liang He: Fan.

He clearly remembered Liang He beating Zhou Fan to within an inch of his life. 'If we hadn't gotten him to the Yalai Hotel in Bin City in time, who knows what would have happened?'

'That was why he had been so tense when he first realized who they were up against.'

'This guy's power has absolutely skyrocketed. No wonder he has the guts to declare war on Vermilion Bird and the people behind her!'

"My dear son, are you scared yet? If you won't make a move, I'll have to take the initiative!" Zhou Fan was, of course, unaware of the thoughts running through Liang He and Fan's minds. But that single exchange had given him a much clearer understanding of his own current power.

'If I were to face Vermilion Bird again in a direct fight, I still might not be her match, but at least I could put up a fight!'

"Zhou Fan, don't push me too far! You should be able to guess who's behind me. If you kill me, he will never let you get away with it!" Liang He snarled through gritted teeth, speaking the toughest words he could muster in the most cowardly tone.

"Oh, you mean Elder Witch?" Zhou Fan said with a faint smile. "Don't worry. He'll die by my sword sooner or later, too." With a single step, he crossed several meters and appeared directly in front of Liang He, thrusting the Li Hen Sword straight forward.
