My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!

Chapter 156: Beast II

Michael landed on the ground and took several steps backward.

The Corpse Lord broke the ice covering his body and looked toward Michael.

"You have become much stronger."

Michael smiled.

"So have you."

The Corpse Lord suddenly released his own aura. His muscles became tense as the Frost Troll’s regeneration ability activated. The wounds covering his body began recovering at a rapid pace.

Michael watched the process carefully.

’His regeneration is still troublesome.’

He raised one hand, and a massive amount of frost energy began gathering around his body. The temperature of the entire area dropped once again.

Kaiser immediately noticed the change.

’He’s using more power.’

Michael pointed his hand toward the Corpse Lord.

"Frozen Impact!"

A powerful wave of frost energy shot forward.

The Corpse Lord quickly crossed his arms in front of his body.

Boom!

The attack struck him head-on and pushed his massive body backward. Ice spread rapidly across the ground behind him as the force of the attack continued pushing him back.

The Corpse Lord struggled against the attack before finally breaking through the freezing wave.

He immediately charged toward Michael.

Michael’s eyes narrowed.

Instead of dodging, he remained in place and waited for the Corpse Lord to reach him.

The Corpse Lord swung his massive fist.

Michael caught it with one hand.

Boom!

The impact created another powerful shockwave that spread through the surrounding area. Michael’s feet sank slightly into the frozen ground from the force.

However, he didn’t retreat.

He twisted the Corpse Lord’s arm, used his momentum against him, and threw his massive body over his shoulder.

Boom!

The Corpse Lord crashed heavily into the ground.

Before he could get back up, Michael stepped forward and placed one foot firmly on his chest.

A powerful Frost aura surrounded his claws.

"Looks like that’s enough."

The Corpse Lord stopped moving.

"Agreed."

Michael released the transformation, and the Frost Dragon features slowly disappeared from his body. His claws returned to normal, his tail vanished, and the frost surrounding his body gradually faded away. Within a few moments, he had returned to his normal form.

Michael took a deep breath and looked at his hands.

"I can definitely feel the difference."

Kaiser walked over to him.

"What did you notice?"

Michael thought for a moment before answering.

"The transformation doesn’t simply increase my strength. It improves almost every aspect of my body."

He clenched his fist.

"My speed, defense, regeneration, and Frost Dragon abilities all become stronger at the same time."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"And there’s also the Wraith Beast’s power. It feels like that power strengthens my body even further."

Kaiser nodded.

"Then the transformation should become even stronger as you increase your mastery."

Michael smiled.

"Yes. I think there’s still a lot of room for improvement. If I can fully master this form, my strength should increase considerably."

Emilia walked over to them and looked at Michael.

"You two certainly gave the transformation a proper test."

Michael laughed.

"Corpse Lord was a good opponent for testing it."

The Corpse Lord had already returned to his normal form. He looked at Michael and nodded.

"Your new transformation is powerful."

Michael nodded.

"I still need more practice before I can use it effectively in a real battle."

Kaiser agreed.

"That’s why you should keep practicing with it. The more familiar you become with the transformation, the better you’ll be able to control its power."

Michael nodded.

"Of course."

Kaiser then glanced at the time.

"We should continue exploring the dungeon. There are still plenty of corpses we need to collect."

Michael agreed.

"Alright."

Kaiser turned toward his undead army.

"Let’s continue."

The undead immediately began moving deeper into the dungeon.

Selene, Rachel, Garuk, the Corpse Lord, Gravity Slime, and Skeleton King followed behind Kaiser, while Michael and Emilia walked alongside them.

As they continued through the dungeon, Kaiser kept thinking about his father’s new transformation.

’If Dad can fully master Imperial Beast Transformation, his combat ability should increase significantly.’

His attention then shifted to the Wraith King equipment he had obtained.

’And I still need to deal with the other rewards.’

The biggest problem he needed to solve was his Mana.

His current Mana pool was still not large enough for him to use Reconstruction at its full potential without limitations. If he wanted to make better use of his talent, he needed a way to increase the amount of Mana available to him.

That was why he had decided to create another undead.

An undead capable of sharing its Mana with him would solve a major problem.

Kaiser glanced toward his inventory.

’The Wraith King Bones should be useful for creating it.’

However, that wasn’t the only undead he wanted to create.

He still needed a suitable corpse for the thief-type undead he had been planning to make. He wanted an undead that specialized in stealth, movement, and infiltration rather than simply relying on brute strength.

’If I can find the right corpse, I can create both of them.’

Kaiser continued walking deeper into the dungeon with the others, keeping his two future undead creations in mind as they searched for more suitable corpses.

The group continued deeper into the Hollow Ground dungeon.

The further they traveled, the darker the surroundings became. The walls were covered in strange black marks, while faint ghostly energy could be felt throughout the tunnels.

Kaiser occasionally stopped to examine the surroundings, but he didn’t find anything particularly useful.

Most of the monsters they encountered were Spirit Wraiths and other ghost-type creatures.

However, none of them were suitable for what Kaiser wanted.

The undead army dealt with them quickly, and their corpses were collected whenever possible.

After walking for some time, Kaiser suddenly stopped.

"Wait."

Everyone stopped behind him.

Kaiser looked ahead.

A faint sound could be heard coming from deeper within the tunnel.

It sounded like something dragging a heavy object across the ground.

Rachel tilted her head.

"Something is coming."

Selene’s eyes narrowed.

"It’s not a normal Spirit Wraith."

Kaiser nodded.

"I can feel it too."

The sound became louder.

Scrape.

Scrape.

Scrape.

A few seconds later, a large shadow slowly appeared at the end of the tunnel.

It was a huge undead creature covered in dark armor. Its body was partially transparent, and two pale blue flames burned inside its eye sockets.

Kaiser immediately checked its information.

His eyes lit up slightly.

’Rank 2... Wraith Lord.’

The creature noticed the group and immediately released a powerful ghostly aura.

The surrounding temperature dropped.

Several weaker undead behind Kaiser began trembling under the pressure.

Kaiser, however, remained calm.

"It seems I was right, there are hidden monsters left."

The Wraith Lord raised its weapon and charged.

Boom!

Before it could reach Kaiser, Garuk stepped forward.

The Snowlight Orc King swung his weapon and collided with the Wraith Lord.

The impact sent a powerful shockwave through the tunnel.

The Wraith Lord was pushed backward, but it quickly recovered and disappeared into the darkness.

Garuk frowned.

"It disappeared."
