Chapter 154: Rewards
Kaiser looked at the six rewards again.
Each of them had a use.
The first thing that caught his attention was the Legendary Skill Book, Royal Knights’ Call.
’This would be perfect for Mom.’
Emilia’s fighting style would benefit from having a group of powerful Royal Knights fighting alongside her.
However, Kaiser had no intention of giving her the skill in its current state.
’I’ll use Reconstruction on it first.’
The problem was that his current Reconstruction ability wasn’t strong enough to upgrade a Legendary skill yet.
But Kaiser already had a plan.
’I’ll need to find a way to increase the power of my mana so that I can use my talent perfectly.’
He had already started thinking about creating a new undead specifically for this purpose.
An undead capable of increasing his Mana through sharing abilities, transferring power, or using some other unique skill.
If he could increase his Mana enough, he would be able to push his Reconstruction Talent closer to its full potential.
’Once I have that undead, I’ll upgrade Royal Knights’ Call and then give it to Mom.’
Kaiser was already looking forward to seeing what the upgraded skill could do.
He then looked at the next skill book.
[Imperial Beast Transformation]
’This should be useful for Dad.’
Michael already had strong physical abilities, especially after obtaining his Frost Dragon Soul Bond.
A powerful transformation skill would make his physical strength even greater.
’I can give this one to him directly.’
Kaiser then looked at the Wraith King Summoning skill.
[Wraith King Summoning]
’I’ll keep this one.’
Being able to summon a Wraith King would give Kaiser another powerful combat option.
He didn’t need to give every useful skill to someone else.
Some skills were better kept for himself.
Kaiser then looked at the equipment.
[Wraith King Cloak]
He thought about it for a moment.
’This would be more useful for Mom.’
The cloak’s Spiritual Concealment, Ghost Walk, and Wraith Step abilities could give Emilia much better mobility and protection.
Kaiser decided to give it to her as well.
’I’ll let Mom have the cloak.’
His eyes then moved to the Wraith King Bones.

’These can be used for my next undead creation.’
The bones contained powerful spiritual energy.
Kaiser could use them as one of the main materials for creating a new undead.
He had no reason to waste them on something else.
Finally, he looked at the Wraith King Grave Flower.

Kaiser looked toward Marina.
"This one is for you."
Marina blinked.
"For me?"
Kaiser nodded.
"Yes. Take it and study it carefully. See if you can create something useful from it."
Marina carefully accepted the Grave Flower.
"Understood. I’ll do my best."
Kaiser nodded.
’Marina is an alchemist, so she should be able to find a good use for it.’
He then looked at the other rewards again.
His plans for them were already clear.
Royal Knights’ Call would eventually go to Emilia after he upgraded it.
Imperial Beast Transformation would go to Michael.
Wraith King Summoning would remain with him.
The Wraith King Cloak would be given to Emilia.
The Wraith King Bones would be used in his next undead creation.
And the Grave Flower would be given to Marina for alchemy research.
Kaiser felt satisfied with the arrangement.
’Not bad.’
He had already started thinking about his next undead creation.
The next undead would have a very specific purpose.
’If I can create an undead capable of increasing my Mana or sharing its abilities with me, I can push Reconstruction even further.’
’Now I have ideas for two undeads, one a thieving type and other one will be one that can share his mana with others’
His Reconstruction Talent was already incredibly powerful.
But Kaiser knew there was still a large gap between its current strength and its true potential.
If he could increase his Mana enough, he would have far more freedom when using Reconstruction.
’I’ll need the right corpse first.’
Kaiser looked around the battlefield.
There were still countless Wraith corpses scattered across the third floor.
A small smile appeared on his face.
’Maybe I’ll find something useful here.’
He turned toward his undead.
"Collect everything."
The undead immediately began gathering the remaining Wraith corpses.
Kaiser watched them work.
This trip to Hollow Ground had given him far more than he originally expected.
Not only had he obtained powerful materials and skills, but he had also found several things that could help him prepare for his future plans.
Kaiser then turned toward his father, who was watching the Corpse Lord.
"Hey, can you transform into one of those powerful forms? I want to try fighting you," Michael said.
Emilia shook her head.
’I didn’t know Dad was such a fighting man,’ Kaiser thought as he looked at his father.
Kaiser walked over to Michael.
"Dad, try this skill."
He handed him the skill book containing Imperial Beast Transformation.
Michael looked at the skill book for a moment before accepting it.
By now, Michael already knew that there was no point in trying to stop Kaiser from giving him powerful items.
Once Kaiser made up his mind, he rarely changed it.
So Michael no longer tried to refuse the gifts his son gave him.
"Alright. I’ll give it a try."
He opened the skill book.
The moment the skill book touched his body, it turned into a stream of light and entered him.
A notification appeared before Michael’s eyes.
[You have learned the skill: Imperial Beast Transformation.]
Michael closed his eyes for a moment as he felt the new skill settle into his body.
Kaiser looked at him with interest.
"Try it."
Michael nodded.
"Alright."
He took a few steps forward and activated the skill.
"Imperial Beast Transformation."
A powerful aura suddenly erupted from Michael’s body.
His Frost Dragon’s aura mixed with the energy of the new skill.
Kaiser watched carefully.
’This should be interesting.’
The energy around Michael became stronger.
His body began changing.
White scales slowly appeared across his arms and shoulders.
His hands transformed into sharp claws, while his legs became stronger and slightly larger.
A pair of white horns grew from his forehead.
At the same time, a long tail covered in white scales appeared behind him.
Frost spread across the ground around his feet.
Within a few seconds, Michael’s appearance had completely changed.
