Kaiser placed it into his inventory.
At the same time, another notification appeared.
[Dungeon Boss defeated.]
[Boss Chest has become available.]
Kaiser looked toward the location where the Wraith King had fallen.
A large chest appeared there.
It was covered in dark blue patterns, and a faint spiritual aura surrounded it.
Kaiser walked closer.
[Unique-Rank Wraith King Chest]
Kaiser’s eyes lit up.
"A Unique-Rank chest."
He looked around.
Michael, Emilia, and Marina were still watching the battlefield from a distance.
Though almost all of them were looking at his summons.
Kaiser smiled.
’This is perfect.’
He had already decided what he wanted to do.
’I wonder if I can make it Legendary Rank with Reconstruction.’
Kaiser quietly approached the chest.
Since he had positioned himself away from his parents during the final part of the battle, they couldn’t see what he was doing clearly.
He placed his hand on the chest.
"Reconstruction."
Golden light suddenly appeared around his hand.
The light flowed into the chest.
The dark blue patterns on its surface began changing.
The entire chest trembled.
Golden lines spread across its body.
The Unique-Rank aura rapidly became stronger.
Kaiser watched the transformation with a smile.
A few seconds later, the golden light disappeared.
The chest had completely changed.
A powerful Legendary aura surrounded it.
A new notification appeared.
[Reconstruction successful.]

Kaiser smiled seeing the new chest.
"It worked."
He looked at the newly upgraded chest.
The chest was now much larger, with dark blue metal covered in golden patterns.
Kaiser grinned.
"Not bad."
He quickly placed the chest into his inventory.
Since he had positioned himself carefully, neither Michael nor Emilia had seen him use Reconstruction on the chest.
Kaiser then turned back toward his undead.
The battle was finally over.
The remaining Wraith Royal Knights had all been defeated, and the third floor had become completely silent.
Kaiser looked at the destroyed battlefield.
’This trip was definitely worth it.’
He had obtained a large number of Wraith corpses, a Wraith King Soul Core, and now a Legendary-Rank chest.
More importantly, he had found several powerful undead that might be useful for his future experiments.
Kaiser looked at Selene and the others.
"Good work."
The undead bowed.
"Yes, Master."
Kaiser nodded.
"Let’s collect everything and leave."
The undead immediately began gathering the remaining corpses and materials from the battlefield.
Kaiser quietly opened his inventory and looked at the Legendary-Rank Wraith Emperor Chest.
He was already curious about what was inside.
"Let’s open it together," Kaiser said.
Michael looked at the chest with a confused expression.
"Wait, why is it a Legendary-Rank chest?"
He looked at Kaiser.
"The boss was only Unique Rank. Shouldn’t the chest be the same rank?"
Kaiser shrugged.
"I don’t know. Maybe it was some kind of mutation. It’s not that hard to explain."
Emilia nodded.
"Yeah. There are records of dungeon chests having different ranks from their bosses. Sometimes they are one grade higher, and sometimes they are even lower."
Michael nodded.
"I see."
Kaiser quietly sighed in relief.
’Good. They bought it.’
He opened the chest.
Golden light immediately burst out.
Six items appeared in front of him.
Three skill books, one piece of equipment, and two consumable items.
Several notifications appeared before his eyes.

Kaiser looked at the items one by one.
The first skill book caught his attention.

Kaiser nodded.

Kaiser’s eyes immediately lit up.

Thirty Royal Knights would be a powerful addition to his undead army. He have seen them fight they were all very strong.
He then inspected the third skill book.
[Imperial Beast Transformation]

[Description: Allows the user to transform into a powerful beast using spiritual energy. The transformation greatly increases physical strength, speed, defense, and regeneration. The form becomes stronger as the user’s level and Mana increase.]
Kaiser raised an eyebrow.
’Another transformation skill.’
He wasn’t particularly interested in learning it himself, but the skill could still be useful for one of his undead.
He then looked at the equipment.

[Description: A cloak created from the condensed spiritual energy of a Wraith King.]
[Abilities:]

Kaiser looked at the cloak with interest.
’This is actually useful.’
Especially Spiritual Concealment and Wraith Step could be useful for an assassin or thief-type undead.
Kaiser then inspected the first consumable item.

Kaiser nodded.

Since Marina was a Runic Alchemist, this could be particularly useful.
