Global Pioener: Earth Second Chance

50. No Cheat Sheets Allowed

That morning, Rangga had woken up long before sunrise.

All his equipment was ready. His Longbow was slung across his back. Five Javelins were neatly lined up beside him. His newly crafted Swamp Armor was already fitted securely around his body.

But instead of leaving immediately, he sat in front of his house, waiting as the eastern horizon slowly turned red.

“Today... It’s coming, right?”

Seven days had passed since the last message from Earth. The day he had been waiting for had finally arrived.

Before long, the sun began to rise over the ocean. At the same moment, a familiar voice echoed throughout the entire Pioneer world.

[Communication time has arrived.]

[Each Pioneer will receive one message from their world.]

[Communication limit: One-time reading.]

Rangga’s eyes immediately lit up.

“Yes!”

A blue screen slowly appeared before him, and the first lines of text began to emerge.

---

Hello, Mas Rangga.

I watch you all the time. I’m going to school now.

I want to tell you a lot of things, but the soldiers said I’m not allowed to write too much.

So... just be careful over there, okay?

I’ll keep watching you from here.

Don’t forget to eat.

— Putri

---

Rangga read the message slowly. The further he read, the wider his smile became.

“She’s going to school now...” He let out a relieved breath. “Thank God...”

Rangga looked up at the sky, as though Putri really were watching him from somewhere above.

He pointed at the armor he was wearing.

“Don’t worry, Dek... Look at this. Your brother’s got new armor.”

Then he patted the Longbow on his back.

“New weapon too... Hehehe...”

He looked genuinely happy. After a few moments, he lowered his gaze again.

There was still one more message.

----

Message from the Government of Garuda

Congratulations on your successful exploration of the Pioneer world, Mas Rangga, and thank you for everything you have done.

As promised, we will continue to take care of your family on Earth. We assure you that your younger sister, Putri, will be provided with a better life.

We would also like to thank you for cooperating with Major Deri in sharing valuable information with the other Pioneers.

We must also inform you that your actions have begun to influence international politics.

Thanks to the information and achievements you have demonstrated, Garuda has established cooperation with the Golden Lion Nation and the Green Jaguar Nation.

Lastly, if possible, we are currently prioritizing food supplies and metals for future resource shipments.

Thank you, and please continue to prioritize your safety.

---

Rangga read the message to the end. At first, he simply smiled, happy to know that Putri was truly being taken care of.

But when he reached the part about international cooperation, his eyebrows furrowed.

“Huh? Because of me? How?”

Rangga scratched his head.

“I was just... looking for food.”

He genuinely could not understand how hunting mechanical dinosaurs and sending materials back to Earth had somehow resulted in international diplomacy.

A few seconds later, he shrugged.

“Whatever... As long as Putri’s doing okay.”

He looked back at the final part of the message.

Priority shipments: Food supplies and metals.

Rangga nodded firmly.

Then, without even realizing it, he straightened his posture and raised his right hand in a somewhat awkward salute, imitating the soldiers he had seen before.

“Understood. I’ll do my best... Food and metals will be my priority.”

After finishing the salute, Rangga immediately grinned at himself.

“Heh... Still feels weird doing that.”

Yet the smile never left his face. Because now, he knew the one thing that mattered most.

Putri was safe.

And that alone was enough to make everything he had endured in the Pioneer world feel far more meaningful.

Across countless islands, the same blue screens appeared before every Pioneer from Garuda.

Fajar smiled in relief as he read the message from his wife.

She told him that she and their child were now living in an apartment provided by the government.

Their child had also started going to school. At the end of the message was only one simple sentence.

Come home, okay? We’ll be waiting.

Fajar wiped the corner of his eye with a smile.

“Damn... I was told not to cry, and now I almost did.”

On another island, Andre, who had been known as an influencer before becoming a Pioneer, also received his message.

Unlike some of the other Pioneers, his family had never faced serious financial difficulties.

Because of that, the contents of his message were different.

The government simply informed him that his family was safe and had been placed under protection according to standard procedures.

There was no financial assistance. No relocation because neither was necessary.

Andre read the message with a small smile.

“Well, thank God... At least I’m still an influencer over here.”

Meanwhile, Major Deri read the message from the Government of Garuda with a serious expression.

Message from the Government of Garuda

---

Major Deri.

Thank you for the leadership and coordination you have demonstrated thus far.

We ask that you continue maintaining communication and cooperation among the Pioneers in order to improve their overall survival rate.

Additionally, we would like you to further study Rangga’s exploration methods.

Based on our observations, every decision Rangga makes demonstrates an unusually high degree of efficiency, whether in survival, resource gathering, or confronting mechanical creatures.

If possible, investigate how he obtains information regarding the weaknesses of mechanical creatures, his exploration patterns, and the development of his technology.

Our intention is not to place additional pressure on Rangga, but to determine whether this knowledge can be shared with the other Pioneers.

The more Pioneers who survive, the greater Garuda’s chances of development.

Continue prioritizing the safety of all Pioneers.

Thank you.

Deri read the message to the end before a faint smile appeared on his face.

“Rangga really is... strange.”

Not because of his luck but because of the way he thought. It was almost as if every step he took was always the right one.

Deri slowly closed the blue screen.

“If it really can be learned... I want to know too...”

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

“Where the hell does he get all that information?”

At the same time, across countless other islands, Garuda’s Pioneers began preparing themselves for another day.

But now, they were no longer carrying hope only for themselves.

They now knew that their families on Earth were truly being protected.

And the knowledge they discovered in this world was slowly becoming something they could share—a collective foundation that might help them all survive.

Across the world, every nation attempted to make the most of the seven-day communication window.

Over the past eleven days, researchers had watched millions of hours of Pioneer livestream footage.

They compiled reports. Analyzed the weaknesses of every mechanical creature they encountered.

Developed combat strategies. Even created detailed survival guides to send directly to their Pioneers.

In the Bald Eagle Nation, David opened the blue screen that appeared before him.

Desert Island

Enemy: Mechanical Vespersaurus

Weakness: ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Combat Strategy: ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Important Materials: Saltpeter, Sulfur, Quartz

New Technology: ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

David frowned.

“...Huh?”

He read it again. The most important parts had somehow been replaced by rows of black squares.

Only general information remained. Material names, Island names, Creature names. But the instructions explaining how to deal with them were gone.

The same thing happened in other nations.

Guides that had originally contained pages of detailed information had been reduced to messages filled with black boxes.

No one understood why.

A few minutes later, inside the Bald Eagle Nation’s communication control room, an operator suddenly rose from his seat.

“S-Sir... The message received by the Pioneer is different from the one we sent.”

The entire room immediately fell silent and The President frowned.

“What do you mean?”

The operator quickly displayed copies of both messages.

On the left was the original message they had transmitted, complete with every detail. On the right was the message David had actually received.

Most of the critical information had been replaced by black squares.

The researchers immediately began comparing the two. The longer they examined them, the clearer the pattern became.

Any information that directly provided an “answer” had been censored.

One analyst spoke quietly.

“...That world is rejecting this kind of assistance.”

Another analyst nodded.

“Earth is allowed to observe... Earth is allowed to analyze...”

He stared at the censored message.

“But Earth isn’t allowed to send them the answers.”

The room fell silent once more. For the first time, the entire world had discovered a new rule.

They could provide support, They could offer encouragement, They could even request that certain resources be prioritized. But they could not send a “cheat sheet” to the Pioneers.

Every enemy weakness, Every strategy, Every piece of crucial knowledge. All of it still had to be discovered by those who were actually living in the Pioneer world.
