Bathing with Mama
After some more time riding on Melina we come to a giant door and mama says, “We’re here. Are you okay with flying, dear?”
“Yeah.”
“Perfect~ “ Expanding her wings, mama hugs me close and we float down to a small or I guess normal sized door, right next to the big one I saw, with two guards and two maids standing in front of it.
Whispering to mama I ask, “Shouldn’t I walk? Won’t they think it’s creepy that you’re carrying me?”
“Hmm? Why would it be creepy to carry my baby daughter?”
“B-because of how I look…”
“My little Libella… They already know you’re cursed. There is no need to feel ashamed.”
“But I…I still do feel ashamed.”
“Then just close your eyes for a bit, we’ll be past them in no time.”
“Okay…”
Hearing a door open and shut mama says, “The coast is clear now~”
Opening my eyes again we seem to be in a changing room, “Did they…Did they look disgusted?”
“Not at all, they almost seemed enthralled by you. I’m sure they’ll tell everyone they got to see the princess today~”
“Really?”
“Yes, really!”
“Okay…I trust you. I’ll go and undress now so you can wait outs-Wait, why are you getting naked!?”
“Because we’re going to take a bath of course. Did you expect me to enter with my clothes on?”
“I-I thought I was taking a bath alone.”
“Don’t be ridiculous, dear! What will you do if you slip and hit your head or if you fall asleep and drown!? I can’t just let you go in there alone!”
“It’s just a bath, mama…It’s not that dangerous.”
“But it is dangerous! Even if you don’t want to bathe with me, at least bring a servant along.”
“No…I’d rather bathe with you than a stranger.”
“Oh~ But aren’t I just a stranger too?”
“Yes…But you are a stranger I know, so I’d rather stay with you.”
“I see! I understand now.”
“If we’re going to bathe together can you at least not look…”
“Why?”
“Because I’m disgusting…I don’t want you seeing me like that…”
“Rose, I’m not disgusted by you at all…”
“But I’m disgusted by myself…I don’t- I don’t want you seeing me.”
“Okay…I understand. I can’t not look at you but I’ll try to not look too much.”
“It doesn’t really matter if you’re going to look anyways…In that case, can you just press down between my shoulder blades? I’ll take the bath in my draconic form.”
“You can change into your draconic form!?”
“When someone presses down on my back, yes. I can also change into my male form.”
“Can I see it?”
“Sure.”
Closing my eyes I change into my small form, opening them again mama has slightly teary eyes as she says, “My~ You look just like Scarlet in her male form. Why the dress though?”
Taking my tail in my arms I answer, “Because it’s the only way I can make people see me as a girl…Sniff Isn’t it ironic? I need to be male for people to see me as a girl.” I say with teary eyes.
Getting down on her knees mama hugs me tight and answers, “To me you are a pretty girl no matter what your curse looks like. This curse is not who you are and it is not what defines you. You’re my beautiful little daughter. You don’t disgust me and I don’t see you as a man. To me you are beautiful.”
Starting to cry I say, “Thank you mama.”
After crying for a solid five minutes I calm down again.
“Are you feeling a little better now, my little Libella?”
“Y-yeah, I think so.”
“My…Look at you, your eyes are all puffy now,” Mama says, right before licking my face clean from all the tears and snot. “There you go, all clean and pretty again.”
“Thank you mama…”
“You’re welcome, dear. I’m always here for you…”
“...”
“Oh, can I ask you a question, Rose?”
“Sure.”
“If you can change into your male form at will, can you also change into your draconic form or only when your back is pressed?”
“I’m not sure. I haven’t tried it in a while.”
“Then how about you try it now?”
“Okay…”
Closing my eyes I imagine changing into my draconic form and to my surprise it works, “Gao!”
Feeling myself being picked up from the ground by mama I hear her say, “My~ You’re so cute like this as well! You’re gonna give mama a toothache from how sweet and cute you are!”
“Kyu~” I say as I wiggle my tail from the compliment.
“Now, can you also turn back into your polymorphed form by yourself?”
Tilting my head, I imagine turning back into my cursed form which also seems to work.
“My~ Look at how talented you are Rose!”
“Th-thank you. I didn’t know I could do this.”
“Well you can do it now! Isn’t that exciting?”
“Actually, yeah…It is a little exciting!”
“Right!? So, do you still want to bathe in your draconic form or in your polymorphed form?”
“In my draconic form…If that is okay.”
“Of course it is okay!”
Closing my eyes I turn back into my draconic form and mama picks me up and carries me into the next room. I can smell the scent of water and wonderful smelling soap in the air.
“Uwaa~”
“It smells really nice, right Rose?”
“Gao!”
After I hear a splash, mama says, “I’ll splash some water on you now.”
“Gao.”
Feeling nice smelling warm water on me I can’t help but have my tail start to wag.
“I’m glad you like it.”
“Gao!”
“I’ll go scrub you off a little now, okay?”
“Gao.”
Feeling something soft and coarse on me, mama scrubs my whole body clean, “I’ll lower you into the water now but I’ll keep my hand right under you. Please rest your head on my wrist so you don’t accidentally drop it under water.”
“Gao.”
Being lowered into the water I feel great. Everything smells nice and my body feels completely relaxed and warm.
Relaxed sigh
Some time later, mama and I get back out of the bath and she dries me off.
“Now that you’re in your draconic form do you want to say goodbye to the maids and guards?”
Tilting my head I think about it a little then nod my head.
“Gao!”
“Great! I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.”
Hearing a door open then close, mama says something in Draconic then whispers to me, “You can say goodbye now.”
Lifting one of my front legs I say, “Bao Bao!”

Unbeknownst to the currently blind Rose. This little action was so cute that the maids bite their own hands so as to not loudly swoon and even the guards look really happy.

Next mama holds me close to someone and asks, “Do you know who this is, Rose?”
Taking in the smell I think for a bit and then say, “Memema!”
“That’s right! You’re so smart, Rose. Melina also looks really touched that you remembered her!”
“Gao?”
“Yes, really!”
“Now, how about we go eat something and take a little nap?”
“Gao!”
