The apocalypse had descended, and the one thing that should have helped save Dion, his system, spewed the condemnation of a critical error, and he suffered for it.

    For Dion, a day-by-day living college student, what would have become of him were it not for the interference of his paradise, when he suffered the injustice of such a system glitch in the apocalypse?
    Creatures spilled through tears into Gaia, humanity was skewed into zombies, the flora and fauna transformed, and their collective turned everything that was known about existence itself upside down.
    There was only a select population that had Awakened with the descent of the Akashic Records. They received Systems, the potential to level themselves up, as well as mystical Classes, immediately thrust onto the path of Ascension.
    In this new reality where zombies and monsters had begun ravaging the world, without any time to prepare, he must adapt to the different path he must take from everyone else.
    Either he adapts, or he dies and loses everyone he cares for.
