Chapter 230: Kidnapped
Actually, deep down, Tang Qian was terrified.
He was no match for Chu Feng at all. His dozen or so underlings had all been taken down by Chu Feng and Su Miaoke.
"Heh, the Tang Family?" Chu Feng sneered and slowly walked forward.
Although this guy Tang Qian was stronger than the dozen fallen Tang Family disciples, he was a coward.
The moment Chu Feng took a step forward, Tang Qian scrambled back in fear, terrified that Chu Feng would strike him.
"Chu Feng, you’d better think carefully about the consequences of offending my Tang Family!" Tang Qian said, forcing himself to sound calm despite the fear in his heart.
Hearing this, Chu Feng stepped forward and delivered a backhanded slap.
SLAP!
The slap landed squarely on Tang Qian’s cheek.
Tang Qian was sent sprawling to the ground. There was no small amount of force behind Chu Feng’s slap.
Tang Qian clutched his cheek. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth; Chu Feng’s slap had drawn blood.
"You motherfucker!" The slap sent Tang Qian into a blind rage.
He was a disciple of the Tang Family, after all, and a high-ranking one at that. No one had ever dared to slap his face before.
So this time, he completely lost it.
Tang Qian scrambled to his feet and threw a punch straight at Chu Feng’s face.
In an instant, the wind from his fist howled past, ruffling Chu Feng’s hair.
However, Chu Feng stood his ground, unmoving. He simply extended his right hand and caught Tang Qian’s fist.
Tang Qian’s expression gradually turned ugly.
He stared at Chu Feng in disbelief as large beads of sweat began to drip from his forehead.
An intense, piercing pain shot up from Tang Qian’s right fist.
"You... you..." Tang Qian wanted to scream, but he held it back. It would be too humiliating.
’I can’t believe Chu Feng is this strong.’ He was utterly shocked, and a chill went down his spine.
He knew that even though he was a coward, he wasn’t weak. He had reached the Qi Cultivation Realm.
Yet Chu Feng could handle him with such ease, which was more than enough to prove how powerful Chu Feng was.
At that moment, the team of security guards from the entrance rushed over to the villa.
There was a sizable group, at least several dozen of them.
They stormed into the villa, weapons in hand, and shouted at Chu Feng.
"Stop right there!"
Chu Feng merely glanced at the guards and said slowly, "Scram!"
That single word sent a jolt through many of them.
They didn’t know why, but a sudden fear washed over them.
Chu Feng gave Tang Qian a shove.
Tang Qian stumbled forward and rolled across the ground several times before coming to a stop.
"If you ever dare to touch my family again, you will die." With that, Chu Feng took Su Miaoke’s hand and left.
The guards had intended to block Chu Feng, but after seeing the ferocious look in his eyes, not a single one dared to move.
"What are you standing around for? Get him!" Tang Qian roared at the guards as he scrambled up from the ground.
The guards snapped out of it and hurried after them.
But Chu Feng and Su Miaoke were already in their car and driving away.
At that moment, Chu Feng made a phone call.
"In one hour, Tang Qian will be dead. You handle the aftermath," Chu Feng said before hanging up.
He had called Zhao Qinghan directly.
「Inside Zhao Liu’s villa.」
"Uncle Qi, Chu Feng said Tang Qian will be dead in an hour and wants us to handle the aftermath," Zhao Qinghan said.
"Mm, I understand." Zhao Gong nodded and then took out his phone.
’I didn’t expect this kid to be so impressive,’ Zhao Gong couldn’t help but marvel.
He acknowledged the order and immediately started making arrangements to handle the aftermath.
"Honey, where are we going now?" Su Miaoke asked.
"Home," Chu Feng said.
"Honey, was I... was I too violent just now?" Su Miaoke asked, a little incredulous as she recalled the fight.
She never expected that once she lost her temper, she would be so vicious, with every move aimed at a vital point.
"Not at all. Just don’t ever use those moves on me," Chu Feng said.
Even he felt a chill run down his spine, a pang of retroactive fear.
"Hmph! If you dare to bully me or make me angry in the future, that’s exactly how I’ll deal with you!" Su Miaoke huffed at Chu Feng.
Soon, the two drove back to the Bright Moon Mountain Villa.
As soon as they got to the villa, Chu Feng turned on his phone and discovered he had numerous missed calls.
"That’s strange. Mom and Su Jun both called so many times. My phone was on silent, so I didn’t hear it," Chu Feng said.
"I have some too," Su Miaoke said, glancing at her own phone.
A sense of foreboding washed over them both.
Something must have happened for the mother and son to be calling them nonstop.
Chu Feng then called his mother-in-law back, but no one answered.
Chu Feng quickly tried calling Su Jun’s number.
"Su Jun, what’s wrong?" Chu Feng asked as soon as the call connected.
"It’s bad, Brother-in-law! Something’s happened!" Su Jun said frantically.
"What is it? What happened? Why the rush?" Chu Feng asked, his brow starting to furrow.
"My dad’s in trouble! He’s been kidnapped! My mom already went over there. Brother-in-law, where are you?" Su Jun yelled, sounding like he was on the verge of tears.
"What? You’re not kidding, are you?" Chu Feng asked.
"It’s absolutely true! The kidnappers already called and demanded money. Brother-in-law, this is real!" Su Jun said anxiously.
"Have you contacted Zhao Liu?" Chu Feng asked.
"We did. Sixth Master Zhao knows about it. He’s already trying to stabilize the situation with the kidnappers, but we don’t know the specifics," Su Jun said worriedly.
"So our mom already left on a plane?" Chu Feng asked.
"Yes, she’s already on the plane. She said she’d go on ahead and told me to have you guys figure something out as soon as I reached you," Su Jun said.
"Okay, I understand. Don’t worry, everything will be fine," Chu Feng said.
Chu Feng and Su Miaoke were standing together, and Su Jun’s voice was loud enough for her to hear everything.
When she heard what had happened, she was completely stunned.
A moment later, Chu Feng dialed Zhao Liu’s number.
"Brother Chu, I’m terribly sorry. I failed to look after your father-in-law," Zhao Liu apologized before Chu Feng could even speak.
"Sixth Master, let’s not waste time with that. What’s the situation with my father-in-law?" Chu Feng asked.
"He’s been kidnapped. It’s a bit of a tricky situation," Zhao Liu replied.
"I know that much. What are their demands?" Chu Feng asked.
"They’re demanding a billion. Your mother-in-law went over too. I tried to stop her, but she insisted. Our people on that side are negotiating with them," Zhao Liu said.
"Arrange a plane for me. I’m going over now," Chu Feng said.
