Chapter 226: Just Who Are You
Chu Yuntian knew that Chu Feng had mastered the Chu Family’s legacy, which was why he was so happy.
Although Chu Yuntian had never practiced cultivation, he knew a fair bit about the Chu Family’s legacy and was aware of just how formidable the Martial Dao was.
Soon, Chu Yuntian felt a warmth spreading through his legs, followed by a tingling sensation.
"Dad, drink this." Chu Feng took out a small vial and emptied its contents into a mineral water bottle.
It had been diluted. Without dilution, Chu Yuntian’s body wouldn’t have been able to withstand such a potent effect.
"Son, what is this?" Chu Yuntian asked curiously.
"It’ll help your injuries recover. It’s a blend of herbs I prepared," Chu Feng said.
He didn’t elaborate, knowing that some things couldn’t be spoken of carelessly.
After drinking it, Chu Yuntian felt a warmth in his stomach, as if a current of hot air was rushing through his body.
It was incredible.
About ten minutes later, a convoy of cars drove in from outside the village.
Every one of them was a luxury car worth over a million.
A group of people got out of the cars. They were all from the Jiangshui Building Materials Group.
"Who dared to hit my son?" A man in his fifties got out of the car and stormed over, seething with rage.
This was Ma Lin’s father, the president of the Jiangshui Building Materials Group, Ma Feng.
He was surrounded by numerous bodyguards, all of whom looked exceptionally skilled at a glance.
When he walked over and saw the miserable state of his son, Ma Lin, he was instantly enraged.
"Who! Who did this?!" he roared, his face dark with fury.
Just then, one of Ma Lin’s underlings saw Ma Feng arrive. He quickly scurried over and fell to his knees with a THUD.
"Chairman, you must avenge the young master!" the man wailed, snot and tears streaming down his face as he clung to Ma Feng’s leg.
Seeing this, Ma Feng kicked him away.
"You fucking useless piece of shit! How could you let my Lin’er get hurt this badly? Do I feed you bunch of good-for-nothings just to stand around? Believe it or not, I’ll have you all thrown into the sea to feed the fish!" Ma Feng roared, absolutely livid.
The subordinate who had been kicked away looked up with a miserable expression. "Chairman, it was that kid who did it. The rest of us couldn’t beat him."
"Get lost! A bunch of fucking idiots!" Enraged, Ma Feng kicked the man again before striding quickly to Ma Lin’s side.
Ma Lin was wailing in agony. His left arm was broken, and blood had sprayed all over the ground. His face was deathly pale, and he was on the verge of passing out from blood loss.
"Lin’er, how are you?" Ma Feng asked, his voice filled with worry and urgency.
"Quick, the doctor!" Ma Feng yelled.
A doctor immediately rushed over and began to bandage Ma Lin’s wound.
"President Ma, this injury is quite severe. We need to get him to the city hospital for surgery right away," the doctor said, his own face pale. He had clearly been startled by the wound.
’He knew that even if they got Ma Lin to the city hospital, the arm was a lost cause. Ma Lin would be lucky just to survive,’ he thought.
"Let me tell you, you will save my son’s arm at any cost! Otherwise, I’ll rip yours off!" Ma Feng snarled, grabbing the doctor by his collar.
His eyes were practically bulging from their sockets. He looked terrifying, like a man-eating beast.
"But... President Ma, there’s nothing we can do for his arm. It’s virtually impossible to repair," the doctor stammered, completely flustered.
’If he couldn’t reattach the arm, Ma Feng would take his. How could he not be terrified?’
"I don’t care! If my son doesn’t make it, you’re dying with him! If my son loses one arm, I’ll chop off both of yours!" Ma Feng had completely lost his mind, roaring like a madman.
Then, he turned his head and glared at Chu Feng.
"That’s the kid!" a nearby underling said, pointing at Chu Feng.
"Go! Break his arms and drag him over here!" Ma Feng commanded.
Immediately, all of his bodyguards charged toward Chu Feng, intent on teaching him a lesson.
They drew short knives from behind their backs, their eyes glinting with malice.
"Xiao Feng, you have to get out of here!" Chu Yuntian became frantic as he saw the men charge.
He wanted Chu Feng to flee, terrified that he would be hurt.
"Dad, it’s okay. Don’t worry," Chu Feng said reassuringly.
Chu Feng turned his head to face the men. He gave them a single glance, but that look alone sent a shiver down the bodyguards’ spines.
They felt as if they were being targeted by a wild beast, and an inexplicable fear bloomed deep within their hearts.
However, they paid it no mind.
No one would believe that a single person could take on more than twenty men. It was unbelievable.
Su Miaoke, on the other hand, calmly said to Chu Yuntian, "Dad, please don’t worry. Chu Feng will be fine."
By now, Su Miaoke had complete faith in Chu Feng’s abilities.
Chu Feng simply stood his ground, projecting the aura of an army of one.
WHOOSH!
One man swung his short knife, slicing through the whistling air.
Chu Feng countered with an effortless kick.
BANG!
The man was sent flying.
SPUT!
He coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the side, his condition unknown.
Next, Chu Feng lunged forward, throwing a straight punch with his left hand and a sweeping hook with his right.
BANG! BANG!
With two dull thuds, two more figures were sent flying.
These professional bodyguards were all skilled fighters, but in Chu Feng’s eyes, they were weaker than children.
The onlookers were all stunned by the scene.
"Holy crap, when did Xiao Feng get so strong? He’s taking them down in one punch!" The villagers stared, dumbfounded by the sight.
They never expected Chu Feng to be so powerful. In the blink of an eye, he had already sent three men flying.
When Ma Feng saw this, his pupils contracted violently.
He was finally realizing just what kind of person he had provoked, and more than half of the rage in his heart vanished in an instant.
’This guy!’ Two words surfaced in Ma Feng’s mind.
Martial Dao!
"Someone from a Martial Arts Family? How is that possible?!" Ma Feng muttered to himself in utter shock.
While he was still in shock, Chu Feng had already taken down half of the twenty-odd men all by himself.
The rest of them were so terrified by Chu Feng’s strength that their courage shattered. None of them dared to charge forward.
"Come on, all of you attack together. That’s the only way you might have a chance," Chu Feng said, beckoning to the dozen or so men remaining.
However, the remaining men wouldn’t dare to step forward, not even on pain of death.
At that moment, Ma Feng turned to Chu Feng, his face as black as thunder, and asked, "Just who are you?"
