Chapter 109: All In
Zhao Liu was thrilled when he saw Chu Feng walk in.
He waved to Chu Feng and called out, "Brother Chu, over here!"
Chu Feng walked over to Zhao Liu’s side. "I’m not late, am I?"
"Not at all, not at all. We’re just about to start," Zhao Liu said with a faint smile.
"So, Old Liu, what’s the word? Are we playing or not? I’ve been getting an itch to play lately," Zhao Liu asked.
"Alright, let’s get started then," Liu Song said with a smile, rising and walking to the side.
Several large gambling tables were set up in the room.
Everyone seated here had a net worth of no less than fifty billion. Anyone worth less than that wouldn’t even have the chance to get in.
Soon, these various big bosses had their subordinates bring in the money—case after case of cash.
Each case held around five million, and in a flash, dozens of such cases were brought in.
Nearly everyone brought twenty to thirty million in cash, with the rest on cards. After all, with tens or even hundreds of billions, there was simply too much cash for the cruise ship to hold.
Chu Feng didn’t need to worry about a thing; Zhao Liu had already prepared fifty million in cash for him.
"Brother, I’ve got fifty million in cash for you. If you run low, we can get more anytime," Zhao Liu told Chu Feng.
A subordinate then set down ten large, black briefcases, stacking them one on top of the other.
Just then, Liu Song spoke up. "Is everyone ready? Have you decided what you want to play?"
Chu Feng looked at the people in the room, and a chill ran down his spine.
’Good heavens,’ he thought, ’these people are all wicked beyond redemption.’
’Every one of them has a glaring aura of sin, with a Sin Value of at least several tens of thousands.’
It was obvious these frequent gamblers had done more than their fair share of evil deeds for their Sin Value to be so high.
Seeing this, Chu Feng’s eyes lit up. ’This is a huge pile of Merit waiting to be claimed.’
Although he had already reached the Foundation Establishment Realm, he would need an immense amount of Merit to advance any further.
Chu Feng had been wondering where he was going to find more Merit. It wasn’t easy to obtain so much at once, as people with such immense sin were rare.
Even when such people did exist, Chu Feng rarely had the chance to encounter them, as most were individuals of high status.
Be they government officials or aristocrats, the higher their status, the stronger the karmic effect of their misdeeds. This is because high-status individuals possess a powerful "magnetic field," and their influence extends over a wide area.
Chu Feng decided not to overthink it. ’Their Sin Values are practically off the charts anyway.’ He didn’t care what they did for a living; he simply initiated a grand judgment.
Silently, he arranged their fates.
Those who deserved to die would not escape. Before their deaths, they would suffer broken limbs, the loss of their wives, and harm to their children—all perfectly normal occurrences. In any case, they would not be spared a single ounce of their due retribution.
"Sixth Master, what would you like to play?" Liu Song asked.
"Everyone here knows the games, so let’s pick the simplest one. How about Sic Bo? That way, it’s all down to skill and luck," Zhao Liu said with a smile.
"Sounds good. I’ll be the house to start. Everyone gets to be the dealer ten times. Place your bets as you wish," Liu Song said with a smile.
"Alright!"
Soon, everyone was in agreement.
Sic Bo was simple. It was nothing more than betting on "Big" or "Small."
"Small, one million!" a foreigner said, tossing a million in cash directly onto the table.
"Big, five million!" a middle-aged man declared.
"Small! Three million!" another boss called out.
Almost everyone had placed their bets. Now, only Chu Feng remained.
"Brother Chu, what do you think? Feeling confident?" Zhao Liu asked.
"Sixth Master, when I play cards, I’m a fan of going all-in. You don’t mind, do you?" Chu Feng said with a slight smile.
Zhao Liu was stunned for a moment when he heard this, but then his face broke into a delighted grin.
"Brother, why would I mind? If you’ve got a gut feeling, go for it! There’s no betting limit here anyway, and that Liu Hui’s family has deep pockets. Bet as much as you want!" Zhao Liu said bluntly.
He knew that for Chu Feng to say something like that, he must be extremely confident.
Chu Feng nodded. "In that case, I’ll bet fifty million on Big!"
When Chu Feng said this, quite a few people glanced his way.
Betting so much on the very first hand?
Many were surprised, not by the amount of money, but by Chu Feng’s sheer audacity.
Liu Song, too, showed his profound surprise at the sight.
"Sixth Master, this young fellow you brought has some nerve, betting so big right out of the gate," Liu Song said with a laugh.
Fifty million was a drop in the bucket for him, but among all the big bosses present, none had started with such a high bet like Chu Feng.
"Ah, what can you do? He’s young and full of vigor," Zhao Liu said with a look of resignation, though inwardly he was overjoyed.
"Good. Young people should be bold. Reveal the dice," Liu Song said with a smile, nodding to the beautiful female dealer.
When the beautiful dealer lifted the cover, the dice showed three sixes. A total of eighteen points—Big!
Just like that, Chu Feng won fifty million.
This made many of the others start to see Chu Feng in a new light.
"Who is this kid? He’s incredible," someone said in surprise.
"He’s with Sixth Master Zhao. This is getting interesting."
A few people began to murmur among themselves.
Liu Song saw this and gave Chu Feng a long, searching look.
Upon seeing this, Sixth Master Zhao’s face was immediately wreathed in smiles.
"Why don’t we switch games? This one’s not very interesting," Chu Feng suddenly said.
"Switch games?" Liu Song glanced at Chu Feng, surprised.
The other bosses had the same reaction.
"That’s right. You can only make one bet, which is no fun. With so many people here, why don’t we play Golden Flower? What do you say?" Chu Feng asked.
Zhao Liu immediately stood up to support him. "I think that’s a great idea. Golden Flower is much more interesting than Sic Bo."
"Since Sixth Master has spoken, let’s play that," Liu Song agreed.
"The ante is one hundred thousand. Raises are a minimum of one hundred thousand, with a cap of one billion!" Liu Song added.
Hearing this, no one objected and they all nodded in agreement.
A beautiful dealer immediately began to deal the cards.
Everyone received three cards, and Chu Feng got his as well.
After getting their cards, some players didn’t even look before raising by one million!
"I’ll call the million!" another person said.
"I’ll make it two million!" an old man said.
"I’ll make it five million!"
"Ten million!"
By the time it was Chu Feng’s turn, the bet had already been raised to ten million. Chu Feng would have to put in at least ten million to stay in.
Chu Feng just smiled.
"None of you have even looked at your cards, and you’ve all raised?"
"Since that’s how we’re playing, I’ll raise as well. One hundred million," Chu Feng said, shocking everyone once again.
