My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building

Chapter 108: Boarding the Cruise Ship

"How much? Do we really need that much?" Chu Feng was completely stunned when he heard the figure.

"It’s not that much. The ten billion is just a precaution. It’s simple: the more capital you have, the more you can win," Zhao Liu said with a smile.

’This guy really is loaded, just casually tossing fifteen billion into a gamble,’ Chu Feng couldn’t help but marvel.

When Gao Feng heard the number, his jaw dropped so wide it looked like it might unhinge, and he nearly fainted on the spot.

"That’s Sixth Master for you. I doubt you could find another person in all of Beihai willing to play with this much money at once," Chu Feng said with a laugh.

"Brother Chu, this is a good chunk of what I’ve saved up over the years. Today, it all comes down to your skills. Whether we get scraps or a feast is all on you now," Zhao Liu said with a booming laugh.

"Alright, I’ll give it a shot," Chu Feng said. "If we win big today, I might just buy myself a yacht. Go out on the sea, enjoy the view, do some fishing whenever I want."

"If you like yachts, Brother Chu, I’ll have one delivered to you tomorrow," Zhao Liu said instantly.

"I couldn’t possibly accept that. Let’s just focus on the game for now," Chu Feng said.

"Alright," Zhao Liu agreed.

「Not long after, boarding began.」

Once aboard, both Chu Feng and Gao Feng were astonished.

The scene that greeted them was simply breathtaking in its sheer, unadulterated luxury.

The moment they stepped on board, several old acquaintances came over to greet Zhao Liu.

"Well, well, if it isn’t Sixth Master! You decided to grace us with your presence today? Your being here really brightens up the place for the rest of us," an old man in a suit said, walking over with a smile.

"Come on now, Old Liu," Sixth Master Zhao chuckled. "Listen to you. We’ve known each other for ages, and you’re still saying things like that."

"Since you put it that way, Sixth Master, we have to have a few drinks, don’t we?" the man called Old Liu proposed.

"Absolutely," Zhao Liu said.

An attendant immediately brought over drinks.

Zhao Liu didn’t introduce Chu Feng or the other members of the Zhao Family. After all, when it came to their identities, the fewer people who knew, the better.

While the two were enjoying their conversation, someone suddenly approached them.

"Elder Liu, everything is ready. We can begin," a middle-aged man said, coming to Elder Liu’s side.

"Good." Elder Liu nodded, then turned to Zhao Liu. "Sixth Master, shall we?"

"Let’s go!" Zhao Liu said.

As they walked, Elder Liu suddenly sighed. "One of my establishments got cleaned out recently. I heard there’s a young man, an incredibly skilled gambler, who won two-point-one billion in one go and walked away with six hundred million in cash."

"Oh? Who was it? Who does he work for? That’s quite a feat," Zhao Liu asked, feigning ignorance.

"I don’t know him myself. I heard his name is Chu Feng or something. I only just got the news from my men today. Apparently, that Yang Hu died yesterday. The bastard never told me what happened, otherwise, I would’ve made sure to invite that young man over for a little chat," Elder Liu said with another sigh.

"Oh? So there’s someone out there who dares to clean out one of Liu Song’s establishments? That’s quite a surprise. Looks like you might be in danger of losing your title as the Gambling King of Beihai," Zhao Liu said, his tone laden with meaning.

The two continued to chat as they walked, soon arriving at an exceptionally large private suite.

"Sixth Master, for everyone you brought with you today, all their expenses are on my tab. Please, don’t hold back," Liu Song said with a grand gesture.

"Hahaha! Old Liu, you really are the Gambling King of Beihai, always so generous! Alright then, I’ll be sure to let my people take you up on that offer," Zhao Liu roared with laughter, not standing on ceremony.

After all, Liu Song’s fortune was staggering. As the Gambling King of Beihai, his net worth was in the tens of billions.

"Yes, Elder Liu," one of Liu Song’s men nodded.

"We’re all friends here, it’s nothing. Just let them go enjoy themselves," Liu Song said with a smile.

Even if Chu Feng’s group spent a few hundred million, or even over a billion, it would be a drop in the bucket for Liu Song. He was the Gambling King of Beihai, after all, and he was clearly here today to put on a show.

Zhao Liu and Elder Liu chatted as they walked deeper into the suite, leaving Chu Feng and his group to amuse themselves.

"Whatever you gentlemen would like to do, just let me know," said one of Liu Song’s men.

"Are we free to walk around as we please?" Chu Feng suddenly asked.

"Of course. You’re Sixth Master Zhao’s guests, so you can go wherever you’d like," the man replied.

"Alright. You can go back to your duties, then. We’ll just look around on our own," Chu Feng told him.

’I’d rather not have these guys following us,’ Chu Feng thought. ’It’s a drag, feels like being watched.’

"Brother Chu, where do you want to go? What’s there to do around here?" Zhao Quan asked.

"What else would we be doing here? We’re here to make money, of course. You didn’t actually think we came to enjoy the view, did you?" Chu Feng said, shooting Zhao Quan a look.

"Huh? Zhao Liu said he was taking us out on a yacht for fun. He never said it was just to gamble," Zhao Quan replied.

"In a little while, I’m going to need you guys to look after my wife. It’s crowded here with all sorts of people, and I’m worried she might be in danger," Chu Feng said.

"Don’t you worry, Brother Chu! As long as I’m here, I guarantee no one will dare to lay a single finger on her!" Zhao Quan declared, thumping his chest, overflowing with confidence.

Just then, Zhao Qinghan also spoke up. "Don’t worry. We’ll take good care of her."

"Alright. You guys go have a look around. I’m heading over now," Chu Feng said.

"You’re going to go gamble with Zhao Liu, aren’t you?" Zhao Qinghan asked.

"Of course. Why else do you think Zhao Liu invited me?" Chu Feng said with a small smile.

As they were speaking, one of Zhao Liu’s men approached.

"President Chu, Sixth Master asks you to come over," the man said.

"Alright," Chu Feng nodded.

"Miaoke, you go with Qinghan and Zhao Quan for now. I’ll come find you later," Chu Feng said to Su Miaoke.

Su Miaoke was a little apprehensive, but knowing that Zhao Liu was also present helped ease her worries.

"Honey, please be careful," Su Miaoke said, giving Chu Feng a reluctant hug.

After leaving her, Chu Feng followed the men to the third deck of the yacht.

They took a private elevator going down.

When the elevator doors opened, he saw they were surrounded by bodyguards in black suits. The bulges at their waists suggested they were all carrying.

The two men led Chu Feng down a long corridor. It stretched for at least fifty meters, with a bodyguard posted every two meters along the way.

It was an impressive display of security.

When one of Zhao Liu’s men knocked on the door at the end of the hall, it was immediately opened by two beautiful women.

"Hello, Mr. Chu!" the two women, both dressed in cheongsams, said respectfully upon seeing him.

Clearly, they had been told to expect him.

Beyond the door was a vast room where numerous people were chatting, drinking, and smoking cigars.
