Chapter 98: All In
"Alright! Kid, you’ve really got some nerve!" When Yang Hu heard this, his interest was instantly piqued, and his eyes lit up.
"Since you’re putting it like that, I’ll give you a discount. All of you combined... one and a half billion. If you win one and a half billion, everyone can walk."
"But if you fail to win that one and a half billion from me, then you, kid, will stay behind, and your little brother-in-law’s ransom... doubles!"
Yang Hu leaned on the gambling table, sticking his head forward and staring intently at Chu Feng.
The man’s eyes were filled with a crazed light, and the smile on his lips was utterly menacing.
"Deal. I win one and a half billion, you let them go," Chu Feng said calmly, showing no fear.
"Great! I accept!" Yang Hu roared with laughter.
In his eyes, the terms Chu Feng proposed were practically a freebie.
Everyone present was stunned when they heard this.
Su Miaoke quickly pulled Chu Feng aside and said anxiously, "Are you crazy? One and a half billion? How is that even possible!"
The other young people’s parents nearby were also flabbergasted.
"Young man, don’t be reckless. We can scrape the money together, but you shouldn’t get yourself dragged into this," one of the parents advised.
Chu Feng’s kindness warmed their hearts, but they didn’t want him to throw his own life away over this.
It was obvious that Yang Hu was running an illegal casino. Winning one and a half billion here was harder than climbing to heaven.
"Trust me," Chu Feng said firmly, squeezing Su Miaoke’s hand.
Su Miaoke had been extremely worried, but for some reason, at that moment, her anxious heart calmed down, and she chose to believe in Chu Feng.
He also said to the parents beside them, "Don’t worry. If I win, you won’t have to pay anything, which would be great. If I really lose, you can just go and scrape the money together then."
For a moment, the parents didn’t know what to say.
They were complete strangers to this young man, having just met him, yet he was going this far to help them.
"Alright, enough chit-chat. Let’s go!" Yang Hu said impatiently.
"What are we playing?" Chu Feng asked.
"Points, of course. Three dice. Highest total wins. A leopard kills all!" Yang Hu said.
Hearing this, Chu Feng nodded.
"Four million. All in," Chu Feng said.
He picked up his dice cup and began to shake.
After just a few shakes, the scene inside the dice cup appeared in Chu Feng’s mind.
’Three fives.’
Across the table, Yang Hu had a cigar dangling from his mouth, his eyes full of contempt.
He began a fluid, flashy set of moves, shaking the dice with great flair.
When his dice cup came down, the dice inside bounced before finally settling.
Three sixes!
’This guy runs a casino, alright,’ Chu Feng sneered inwardly. ’He’s got a few tricks up his sleeve, being able to roll three sixes at will.’
But that was useless against Chu Feng.
Chu Feng simply placed his hand on the table and with a light touch, a wisp of Spiritual Qi, invisible to ordinary people, entered Yang Hu’s dice cup.
It nudged one of the sixes, turning it into a five.
"Open!" Yang Hu shouted.
Chu Feng lifted his cup without hesitation, revealing three fives.
Everyone gasped in surprise when they saw the result.
The parents, in particular, had eyes filled with excitement.
Three fives—a leopard! Unless the other guy had three sixes, it was a guaranteed win.
When Yang Hu saw Chu Feng’s three fives, a mocking smirk spread across his face.
It seemed as though this was all within his expectations; even seeing Chu Feng’s three fives didn’t faze him.
"Kid, you’re toast!" Yang Hu laughed smugly.
"Is that so? Then open it," Chu Feng said flatly.
"Kid, let me show you what a true God of Gamblers looks like!" Yang Hu said, full of pride, as he lifted his dice cup.
He didn’t even look at his dice, speaking directly to Chu Feng, "Kid, you’re still too green to play with me. I was gambling before you were even born!"
"You lost," Chu Feng said.
"Huh??" Yang Hu froze, not expecting Chu Feng to say something like that.
"Are you f—" He was about to curse but then glanced down at the dice on the table.
Two sixes and a five.
He had lost!
"Th-this... how could this be!" His face was a mask of shock and utter disbelief.
He never imagined that he would actually lose!
"Let’s continue," Chu Feng said calmly.
At that moment, Yang Hu’s gaze toward Chu Feng turned ice-cold.
"Good one, kid. It’s been a while since I played, I just got rusty. Again!" Yang Hu said, gritting his teeth in anger.
He had been certain victory was in his grasp for this round, thinking he was sure to win.
But he never expected to make such a mistake.
"Eight million. All in," Chu Feng said.
The two of them began shaking the dice again.
Chu Feng opened: three sixes!
Yang Hu opened: three fives!
Chu Feng had won again. Yang Hu was furious!
"Again!" Yang Hu roared through clenched teeth.
"Sixteen million. All in!"
"Thirty-two million. All in!"
"Sixty-four million. All in!"
"One hundred twenty-eight million. All in!"
"Two hundred fifty-six million. All in!"
Round after round, Chu Feng won another five consecutive times.
He had rolled the initial eight million stake all the way up to two hundred fifty-six million.
Everyone present was completely dumbfounded.
This was simply too incredible to believe.
"Am I seeing things? Is that over two hundred million now?" one of the parents said in shock, rubbing their eyes.
By now, Yang Hu’s expression was so dark it looked like thunderclouds were about to burst.
"Kid, are you cheating? How could you possibly roll three sixes every single time!" Yang Hu said furiously.
"How am I cheating? Show me the proof. I’m using your dice, and with so many of you watching my every move, how could I possibly cheat?" Chu Feng asked.
For a moment, Yang Hu didn’t know how to respond.
Indeed, if Chu Feng really had been cheating, it was impossible for his men not to have noticed. They would have caught him immediately.
But after so many rounds, his men hadn’t found any evidence against Chu Feng.
"Two hundred fifty-six million. Let’s go all in again," Chu Feng said with a smile.
Yang Hu stood there, staring daggers at Chu Feng as rage boiled in his eyes.
"Change the dice!" Yang Hu said, giving one of his men a meaningful look.
The subordinate understood immediately and quickly brought out two new dice cups.
Chu Feng casually picked one. In his eyes, it made no difference.
Soon, both sides began shaking the dice again.
After Chu Feng finished shaking and his dice had settled, he suddenly sensed a sharp change. The dice under his cup had been altered.
His original roll of three sixes had been changed into a one, a two, and a three!
